Raveged by drought
Overall rating
4/5

I booked a Sabi Camp for my photography tour I was leading, as I had heard Sabi Sands was the best place in the Kruger area. I bet it is when not ravaged by drought. There was very little to eat for the grazing animals so many had left, the predators were doing well off animals dying from drought. Our camp was only permitted in a small portion of Sabi Sands and I'm guessing there were better areas in the reserve. Although we had some great sightings my photo tour guests and I, chose to spend extra time in Kruger where the Sabi River was still flowing. I will return to Sabi Sands and hopefully next time it will live up to it's great reputation.

Top one day trip to Ngorongoro Crater!!!
5/5

As a single traveler in Tanzania I was looking for a group to join for a Ngorongoro Crater tour, as my budget was limited. I was very lucky to get in contact with Mega Adventures, after couple negative answers from other touroperators. First of all they found a group for me to join even just for one day. As the group has already started the tour, guys from Mega Adventures organised everything for me in order to meet the group in certain lodge in the evening and continue safari with them next morning. Communication and organisation was excellent as well as care that Mega Adventures crew provided to me. Seeing that a single traveler is not very often interesting for companies, this is not a case for Mega Adventures. I appreciate a lot the way they treat a traveler and they give even more than traveler expects in order to provide him/her the best high quality experience. Nothing is a problem for them and make customer happy is their main aim. I recommend Mega Adventures to everyone, because these guys know what they do and they do it great! If I come back to Tanzania, I will definetely choose them again for any adventure. I wish there will be more companies like Mega Adventures who understand that traveler is not only source of money but first of all human who seeks authentic experience during the trip!!

This is a beautiful park, which is crossed by the River Nile. There are lots of wild animals and and an abundance of birds. The boat trip on the Nile, towards the Falls is unforgettable.

Best experience ever.
5/5

We have travelled a lot around the globe and these 6 days tour in kenya are difficult to beat.
Robert had made a 6 day full tour, where we had the opportunity to see the best of the country.
We are so glad that we choosed to have a driver, instead of driving ourselves. We do not recommend that you drive by your own. You will miss so much of everything around you. Now we had a experienced driver, a good safari van and we learned something all the time we were on the road.
Our driver was Tom, whom we can highly recommend. He is fluent in English.
The itenerary was perfect though we could not see the kilimnjaro clear because of the rain/cloundy climate in Amboseli but thats was nature at it course.

Perfect Victoria Falls/Chobe Adventure
5/5

My sister, father, and I just returned from a trip with Africa Zim Travel and Tours and we cannot say enough good things about this company! We did a couple of days in Victoria Falls as well as four days camping in Chobe National Park. Blessing was helpful from the moment we emailed for a quote. He was very responsive to our questions and was very easy to work with. We saw so many animals in Chobe and Victoria Falls was more impressive than I ever imagined (just make sure you bring your poncho!) Blessing and Africa Zim did an excellent job with the itinerary and were able to tailor things to fit into our short timeline. Things ran smoothly from beginning to end and we felt very safe. Do not hesitate to visit Africa and book with Africa Zim!

When a return again to Arusha, definitely I will ask for them.

Beautiful Kiliminjaro overlooking a small but wildlife-rich National Park teeming with beasts.
Overall rating
4/5

My road research proved correct as there is only one road from Nairobi to Amboseli and that is the C103 off the A109 Mombasa Road. It was a smooth tarmac road offering fantastic views of the South Rift Valley. Amboseli itself is a compact park - easy to navigate and drive around - and it was the first of Kenya's game parks to actually offer me an illustrated map, which was really useful.

Barely through the gate and you see wildebeest and ostrich...then giraffe, impala and then a herd of elephants. I had a pass for 48 hours and the first day I drove one loop around the park concentrating on the animals - as Mount Kilimanjaro was typically shrouded in cloud for the day. There is usually only an hour at dawn and an hour at dusk when the peak is visible. True enough, the following morning it was clear at 6am but clouded over shortly after. On my third day of the trip, things were delightfully different. The peak stayed could-free until 8:30am which allowed me to re-enter the park and take some coveted photographs of wildlife and mountain in harmony. This was definitely the highlight of the trip. Other Kenya parks are flat but Amboseli serves up Mount Kilimanjaro which actually ticks many travellers' life-ling ambitions - mine included.

The accommodation, AA Lodge, was perfect - self-contained chalet / bandas are very private and quiet. It didn't matter to me that I was outside of the Park as my resident Park fee was valid for 48 hrs. The pool was essential; it was so dry and hot that the dip in the water was a necessity. There were very few guests and the food was plain but the service was faultless. Such friendly staff.

Review about Masai Mara National Reserve by Steve
Overall rating
5/5

The abundance of animals and the scenic beauty were beyond compare. The highlight was a night drive watching a pack of hyenas chasing a herd of wildebeests and zebras. The hyenas screaming and hundreds of reflective eyes darting in every direction created an energy and image that i can't describe.

We didn't tire of seeing so many beautiful lions ever day from the several prides. We spent hours taking pics of lions and cheetahs. The big cats were so beautiful and so photogenic.

I would go back to Masai Mara in a heart beat.
