Meticulous planner that exceeds expectations
4/5

Thank you for a memorable vacation and meticulous planning to deliver beyond our expectation . We truly enjoyed and appreciate the effort put towards the same . I’d recommend you to anyone looking for a hassle free trip and value for money . The moment you get a good tour operator like Smart voyage & safaris you’ll never book/plan a trip on your own . Keep it up guys

First African Safari
4/5

This was an experience of a lifetime from start to finish. As I set of on this journey to find a affordable but we'll worth it safari adventure for my family there were multiple choices to choose from. When I stumbled across buymore safaris it wasn't long before I realized that this would be the company for us. Nadzua my trip organizer was extremely helpful and efficient with all the necessary details of the trip. Even with the disparity in our times zones she was still punctual and maintained excellent communication. When we arrived at the Masai Mara our tour guide Kel was extremely knowledgeable about our surroundings during our tour and did a great job locating the big 5 allowing us to get great shots and memories that will last a lifetime. We had a few problems with our land cruiser but nothing serious enough that made me or my party feel discouraged. The Zebra plains staff was awesome and they accommodated us very well. To be honest the only reason why I didn't give this experience 5 stars is because going through customs at the start of the trip I ran into a situation that could have been serious. Luckily Charles our driver that picked us up that morning was there and assisted with the situation. To sum it up this was an amazing experience and I definitely recommend this company for anyone who's looking for a great safari experience.

They provided the best guide king Julius
4/5

If the review was about our guide only I'd give 10 stars.

Julius was absolutely superb , kind, funny, knowledgeable, and got us so respectfully close to get us those picture perfect moments we dreamt of . Julius was considerate with each different member of the group and catered for every bodies needs constantly with a smile and a sense of humour.

Axis themselves were well priced , their accommodation choices were superb we stayed at the Sopa lodges and they are nothing short of perfect ( we even got engaged in one )

My only negative is that their communication styles need to be improved , and their logistics of where guests are staying need to be considered more .

However Julius made our trip into a dream come true .
Thank you Julius .

Customer friendly
4/5

We went on $360 per person experience for a 3D/2N trip to Masai Mara.
A huge shout out to Ms.Monica who handled every tiny query of ours with much patience. Her approach was precisely the reason we went ahead with Axis Africa.
Our stay was super comfortable but with a few issues such as the leaking toilet floor which eventually got sorted out to a certain extent.
The local food was great.
Our driver Saddam was very courteous and respectful.
Our trip to the Masai village was the highlight for our daughter as she loved interacting with the locals.

Sylvia & great guy JOHN (guide) very professional, knowledgeable, lots a patience & great humour
4/5

Overlall the trip was good, safari, accomodation, food etc.except the concept of africa you build over years through books, TV, social media etc. seen herds of wild elephants, giraffs etc. you dont see at every safari. lake manyaara was VERY AVERAGE - just saw few animals every 30 mins or so! one giraff in a the bush at a distance. few lone bulls - pachyderms. A better choice would have beeen Tarangire. ngorongoro crater was really good you see varieties of wild life, birds and ungulates. again no herds of elephants! The food at stays and packed food were great. Recommend highly Green Mountain hotel. rhino and leapards very rare.

It's advisable for the company FIRST requests the tourist what their requrements are, instead of offering a standard package, Will never recommend lake manyaara safari. Prabably the best place to see wild life is serengeti.

Just a word about Sylvia the contact at Monkey - excellent communiactor with effective prompt action.

Arusha you except to be hot but it's cool. you need a jumper/sweater- a hot tea/coffee in a themos would have been great during safari.

Best time of the life with Julius, but pre-tour communication from the company can be improved!
4/5

We had a blast on this tour with Julius, exploring the mainland Tanzania. He was a funny and informative guide, and very accommodating. We started early and often ended late, and he not only ensured we were comfortable, but also ensured that we were getting the best experience! Thanks to him, we managed to see all the big 5 - and the cheetah hunting as well! Stuff of dreams! Really appreciate you Julius!

Couple of things which I wasn't a fan of:
1. The communication before the trip from the company was very sporadic which made us a bit nervous (there was no proactive comms around our upcoming trip)
2. The daily meals (especially if you are vegan/vegetarian) were very basic, and often without a protein.

Great and affordable Safari
4/5

We hired the 6 days safari. It started really good. They were genenerous to give us another hotel night since our flight arrived at an inconvenience time. They picked us up at the airport and our safari guide was Ricardo, he started explaining life in the city since we met him. He was very friendly and very informative. We had a problem with our bags and they were very helpful with that as well.
During the safari, Ricardo was very eager to show us all the animals. He gave us a lot of information about the animals's behaviour, tanzanian culture and also about plants. He was an excellent guide and driver.
The food was very tasty, we really liked it.
If I have to say something negative, it would be that in many hotels we didn't have hot water to shower. And some days it was hot during the day and we didn't have a cold bottle of water. They were always warm. We didn't have sodas after day 3 so that sucked. And the last thing to improve, you should definitely have more binoculars. We were 4 in that car, including the guide and the cook, and we had to "fight" for it.
Overall, it was a great experience. We saw the big 5 and lots and lots of animals.

Very good price basic service
4/5

I booked with them the Kilimanjaro and 4 days safari.
Everything was fine there, I only would have preferred to feel more reassured during the reservation and during the whole process. Nelson is nice but makes everything easy, while you're 5000 km away and have no idea of what will happen.
The price is very good compared to other companies but for this reason every service is ok but not amazing.
Still a good deal for me.
The guides, the drivers, the cooks and everyone else there have to chill about tips. It's not mandatory and they become aggressive and annoying if you don't tip.
Very bad, this thing have to change, not just for them but for the hole country.

Good in sticking to planned tours and all friendly staffs! Cleans our room nicely
4/5

Very good value for money and delicious food. The only slight thing i would say is the showers. The water temperature in the shower changes to too hot and then to cold constantly. The tour guides (Great and Mr Lambs) were very friendly and we wish them all the best!
The sunset drive was spectacular with Andrews and Gift. Followed by the Kruger drive with Mr Lambs - we saw Casper the white lion, leopard, wild dogs, and other animals.
The food was delicious, and shout out to the cleaning lady who made our beds and nicely packed our suitcases when we came back from a long day.
The panorama tour was nice, lots of driving tho.
I would definitely recommend this to my friends who haven’t been to the kruger/Hoedspruit before!
