Review about Spioenkop Game Reserve by mara.dd - www.marasweltreisen.de
We had only a short visit but the landscape with the big lake in the middle is really nice. Also the animals are very easy to see. It is a park for only self-guiding with camping accomodations.

Ithala with greate nature
the Ithala Game Reserve has a beautiful landscape with hills and woodland. It is not so easy to see animals everywhere, but it is more a fun to search for it.
There were no so many tourists, what makes also the self-guided tours very nice and we saw a lot of animals near the roads.
Althought the Ithala game Reserve don't have all the big 5, for me it is a great Game Reserve to visit. I love the landscape.

A trip of a lifetime
Myself and my wife joined Paul Tamwenya and two other guests on a safri though Uganda and Rwanda. The logistics of the trip were well handled. The trip concentrated on birding but we got to see a lot of wildlife including chimps and gorillas.
Paul helped to make this trip so special, he is a joyful friendly confident guide; he is extremely knowledgeable about birds and all Uganda wildlife; he is well known at the parks and lodges we stayed at and arranged great rangers to join us when needed. Paul is very active in the certification of other guides, he is committed to the cause of Uganda providing world class guiding. He is in a word a "world-class".
You will enjoy his trips.

amazing and taylor made trip though Uganda
East African Discovery organised us (myself an 4 well experienced travellers) an unforgettable trip through Uganda. From the very first e-mail exchanges, all went impeccably well, very transparant and clear communication which resulted in a perfect travel proposal at a very fair price. During the trip everything appeared to be even above expectations, a very well qualified driver and guides, outstanding hotels and lodges and for sure it was no coincidence we (our guide) spotted all the animals ( incl. Lions, Leopards) and that we were very lucky with the Gorilla tracking too.
At every moment we had the feeling the program was flexible and spontaneous wishes could be considered. On our request were also enabled to visit the orphanage project which is supported by East African Discovery, a truly nice experience.
All in all, congrats to the team and, highly recommended!
An exciting break, we were so lucky with our sightings and our accommodation was great.
Our communication with our group tour operator was fantastic, and more than lived up to expectations.

Amazing safari, all details handled by WildWings
We used wild wings to book our safari while in greater Kruger national park. Our trip was a last minute decision and we had a list of bucket list items including safari. Madi at wild wings took care of all the details from transport to lodging. She found a fantastic lodge (Mohlebetsi) which I'm not sure we ever would have found had we attempted to arrange our trip ourselves. Our multiple game drives rewarded us with the big 5 plus hippo and wild dog! The accommodations at Mohlebetsi were perfect and full board of meals were delicious!

Great Safari Trip!
Absolutely awesome & excellent! David from Absolute Holiday Safaris is very helpful, he answered all my question in professional way (one of the reason why I choose Absolute Holiday Safaris). During the safari trip, Jackson (driver) always try his best to give my group (5 adult + 1 children) the best view to see all the Big 5. He is very helpful and always on time to ensure we always on track and follow the schedule.
David also help me to buy train ticket from Nairobi to Mombasa at no extra charges (some website might charge you $20 fee). He also help me sending driver & communicate with bus driver (during my trip back from Mombasa to Nairobi) to ensure I did not miss the flight!
Thank you for the hospitality and the great experience! Strongly recommended to all...

Surprisingly Good
Peter, our driver/guide proved to be quite experienced in the wild. At first, I wasn't sure what to expect
so as he drove us through the Masai Mara, I was ready for anything.
Suddenly he would stop and we'd be surrounded with wildebeest, and antelopes. Then came the herds of zebras. As he continued to drive, suddenly there was a family of lions. There they were looking so bold and confident. We were within five to six feet away from these lions. It was quite serene and awe inspiring. Before then, we had seen a family of Cheetahs, a leopard on a tree, giraffes at a distance, water buffalos at a close range , lots of hyenas and then hippos at the Mara river.
It was all so inspiring. It made me think of the awesomeness of God who created all these and more. I was so pleased to see our friends from the USA enjoy this safari and have a memorable time. In addition we enjoyed the facilities at the hotel AA lodge, very kind hosts and we also got to visit a Masai village.
I'd certainly recommend Kibera holiday safaris to anyone wanting a safe enjoyable safari.

Demanded 42% price increase after booking accepted
we had booked a one day tour with Go Wild Safaris on October 15 involving
Tala Game Park and Phezulu for November 27 for 4 people at 960 ZAR per person. Rowly
Midgley emailed us on November 23 to inform us that the price had increased by 42% to 1369 ZAR.
Although he claimed this was due to the game reserves increasing their fees, he did not include
any documentation to support this assertion. Other operators we spoke to did not support
Rowly's claim that there had been a dramatic rise in game park fees. In any case, normal business
practise would be for the tour operator to honour their agreement with their customer.
We cancelled our tour because we could not trust Rowly any more. We suspected that his actions
were an attempt to squeeze more money from us knowing that we had no time to organise an
alternative particularly as we were on a cruise ship. The end result is that we missed out on a
wildlife experience and the affair has left a bitter taste.
