Magical Place
5/5

The safari could not be more perfect. It was such a magical place and I will never forget all the memories and feelings I had while driving in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. I managed to see the big5, including a lion hunting and killing a Zebra, while in the Serengeti. Saw several leopards in trees. Saw cheetahs with their cubs (18 in total), crocodiles, many hippos and big herds of elephants. Ngorongoro Crater is a true wonder of the Earth. The safari was awesome. Thanks so much Baraja, Joao and Loy

The Thrill of Uganda
5/5

I just returned from an unbelievable and exhilarating trip to Uganda. This was my first experience visiting Uganda as well as using the services of 1000 Shades of Green. I have absolutely nothing but high praise for the team at 1000 Shades of Green as they went way beyond to ensure my trip was the best it could be. The accommodations were most enjoyable and comfortable, the food throughout the trip was outstanding and the animal sightings were breathtaking. My guide "Charles" was professional, punctual and a world of information. His main priority was my comfort and that he did! I could not have asked for a better guide/driver. Thank you Charles and everyone at 1000 Shades of Green! It was a trip exceeding my expectations and as a result, I will return! Thank you, Thanks you, THANK YOU!

Great trip to Kruger Park
5/5

We were picked up by our driver, guide and chef Rhys, who organized a fantastic trip to the Kruger National Park for us. We love spotting and photographing wildlife, and were able to see lots of animals. Rhys was very sensitive to our interests, and took us on a day long game drive - which is just what we have done in our own vehicle. Look at some of the photos here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/26218940@N04/sets/72157644059695084/ The food was great and lodgings fine.

An unforgettable journey
5/5

Hi, our safari with Tailor Made Safaris was unforgettable, thanks to the chosen destinations and good guidance. It was an experience to drive amongst wildlife, as well as go on a walking safari, where you get an elephant or rhinoceros only a few meters away from you (heart rate increasing!).

Our safari consisted of two parts; wildlife in Tembe Elephant Park, Mkhuze Game Reserve, Kosi Bay, St Lucia Estuary, Hluhluwe iMfolozi and landscape in the Drakensberg at Thendele (Royal Natal National Park) and Didima (Cathedral Peak Nature Reserve).

Our photo gallery can be seen on my website, www.josschouten.com under travel.

Tailor Made Safaris, thanks very much again!

Fantastic time in Uganda with Budget Safaris Uganda
5/5

I had an amazing time in Uganda, the pearl of Africa, with Peter and Andrew. Travelling alone as a single female, the trip was perfectly tailored to fit in everything I wanted to see and do, even my Compassion sponsor child visits. I had a great time travelling across the country as we trekked the Gorillas at Bwindi Impenetrable forest, saw lots of game including lions, elephants and giraffes at Murchison Falls, saw the source of the Nile at Jinja and just everywhere that we travelled, all the activities that had been arranged and the people I met along the way.
It wasn't just a great holiday - I fell in love with Uganda as they showed me their beautiful country and the beautiful hearts of the Ugandan people.
I began the tour as a client, I finished the tour as a friend.
I definitely recommend Budget Safaris Uganda to anyone travelling to Uganda.

Toured for 8 days to Chobe, Okavango and Victoria Falls with Blessing Munbare as our guide
5/5

Communications to establish the tour dates and payment was slower than I had hoped but we hammered the details out to our satisfaction. The tour was as advertised and often exceeded expectations. Chobe Safari Lodge was totally wonderful as were the boat experience and the driving safari. Okavango Delta was s bit disappointing because there was not much wildlife ( wrong time of the season) but the Sedia Hotel gave a sense of Africa that was not totally touristy. Victoria Falls was spectacular as was the Victoria Falls Hotel. Having Blessing Mumbare as our guide and friend for the 8 days was indeed a highlight of of trip. His care for us (myself, wife and daughter) will be remembered fondly. We thank him for his efforts and hospitality. You will be hard-pressed to find anything comparable for the experience and price. Thank-you Blessing - Bob

In November of 2013 I joined a small group of travelers that toured Nambia with Overseas Adventure Travel. We flew to Johannesburg, South Africa and stayed overnight and then flew to Windhoek, Namibia. After spending a couple of nights in the Capital of Namibia we flew on to Sossusvlei in the Namib desert and stayed at a beautiful lodge where we went on game watching trips and saw many Oryx, gazelles, jackles, eagles, and ostrich. Sundowners in the desert were unique and wonderful. We then went to Sossusvlei and climbed some of the huge pink sand dunes that the region is famous for. We then flew to Walvis Bay and Swakopmund. A cruise of Walvis Bay is not to be missed. They have oyster farms there and they were served with Champagne on the half shell. Giant white pelicans came in for feeding as well as two or three large cape fur seals. Dolphins and whales were also swam near our boat. Swakopmund was an interesting place with many German and Dutch descendants from the colonial days when the country was known as Southwest Africa. We drove to The Cape Cross Seal Colony on the Skeleton Coast were huge numbers of seals could be seen birthing their pups. Many still had their placentas attached! We then flew to Damaraland to see Desert Elephants and other wildlife unique to that very arid land. The lodge again was remarkable and comfortable. A visit to the local boarding school was enjoyable. We then flew to Etosha national Park which is the size of Swizerland!. The lodge had a watering hole outside the fence and a wide range of wildlife came in to drink. Black Rhinos came in at night. White rhinos are also in the park. Game walks were included with rifle armed guides to protect against prides of lions in the area.
If anybody would like to use OAT they have a online video of the Nambian tour on www.OatTravel.com. I would recommend this country for touring as it is unique in landscape, wildlife and local tribes.
