Best selection of hotels and places
5/5

We opted for 6 nights 7 days safari luxury tour. Excellent selection of hotels given by the Company. The driver - Mr. Benson was courteous, helpful and most importantly showed his willingness to guide us - and not just a duty. We are pure vegetarians and had no problems with food. In fact, the food was much tastier that what we expected. Throughout support and guidance provided from Campofrio team.
The only regret we had was that we were promised for a new van, but were provided with an old one. The roads of Masai Mara are v.v.bumpy. It was a nightmare for us, since we are not used to such roads at all!! Suggestion : Either opt for flights or else make sure you get a new van / car to at least Masai Mara.

Fabulous experience with African Breeze Tours
5/5

Catherine was experienced in what she does, and she does it with passion and excellence .. me and my family had an experience of a lifetime , our expectations were met, the price was competitive, the tour driver/guide and Catherine ensured that the trip was worthy more than what we paid for. we did enjoy to our maximum and carried memories of lifetime. I will surely travel back to Kenya for a safari through Catherine's company . I have highly recommended her company to my co-workers and friends.

Incredible experience
Overall rating
4/5

We went to Etosha using our car rental during 2 days. It was our first safari and i have to say it was amazing. From the entrance of the park until the last meters we literally felt like on another planet.
Imagine after 30 seconds in the park you see an elephant quietly walking along the road. This elephant is being looked at by 2 giraffes who seem to be waiting for you to move along.
The following hours were then exceptional. Srpingbocks, rhinos, gembocks, hyena, more elephants, more giraffes. We could barely ask for more.
We followed the main road for the first day and did a bit of side roads on day 2. Main roads are fine, used by most vehicles. Side roads were clearly more challinging, especially "Eland drive" with holes as tall as the 4x4.
Overall, Erosha was totally worth it and I would go back any time.

We had an awesome time and the weather was perfect. We saw lots of animals and were surprised at how many
animals we were able to get close to. Our guides were wonderful and found great spots to view the animals. We had lunch out in the Mara and that was a cool experience. We were pleased with the overall safari and scenery too.

Review about Ngorongoro Crater by Anders
Overall rating
5/5

Ngorongoro is a great place to spot African wildlife, mainly because all the animals are "locked" into a small place. While all the wildebeasts in the Serengeti wander off to Kenya once a year, all the animals in Ngorongoro live there all the year around. The opportunity to see dramatic lion hunts or similar is bigger than in Serengeti. In other words you can probably spot more animals in shorter time than you will in Serengeti, which of course is much, much bigger.

Serengeti is awesome, but...

4/5

I've always had a dream of going on a safari in Africa. In 2014 I finally had the chance to do so, and I got to spend three days in Serengeti and Ngorongoro.

First of all, Serengeti is huge. Much bigger than I expected. We had to drive for a while to even get there, and when we got there, we drove more. And more. And more. Searching for wildlife. I thought the animal density would be bigger than it was, but was actually surprised in a positive way to find out it wasn't. Didn't want to think I was in a zoo either.

The first animal we spotted was actually the animal we didn't expect to see; a leopard. Sitting there, on his own, in the middle of the plain, surrounded by 20-30 safari vehicles. This is probably the thing that "ruins" the safari experience the most; all the people that surrounds the animals at all times, specially if you spot one of the great 5.

It was a once-in-a-lifetime-experience to get the chance to sleep in a tent in the middle of the Serengeti. We could hear the animals make noises not very far away, and I just waited for a lion or a hyena to come over an knock on my tent door. Actually, in Ngorongoro, I had to get through a flock of zebras to get to the toilet. Not something you get to do everyday!

What you have to do while you're in Serengeti is to take a hot air balloon ride. You start early in the morning, mayube 4 am, and get to see the sunrise from up in the air while the animals below you just look at you. It is a truly amazing experience!

All in all; safari is a great experience. I spotted every animal I wanted to see, except from the cheetah.

Maybe next time. I'm not done with Africa. Not at all.

Number 1 Spot Serengeti National Park
Overall rating
5/5

Serengeti National Park is no doubt was truly a different experience.
A hidden paradise. It is such an amazing place that makes you want to leave the civilised world for good.
We stayed at Lamai Serengeti Lodge for 4 days and it was very near Serengeti National Park.
Everyday I wish there is no ending. The Game viewing at the park is endless. I saw the migration of wildebeest & Zebras, different cats, group of Elephants, Group of Giraffes, Spotted Rhinos (Please let's save them!), beautiful birds, Thomson's gazelle, group of Hippopotamus & Crocodiles, etc.

After Serengeti National Park we headed to Ngorongoro National Park for another 4 days.
Ngorongoro is beautiful and has its own characteristics but Serengeti is even more beautiful because it gives you the real touch of WILD AFRICAN SAFARI.

First week of July 2015. It was the best time for us, not so crowded, temperature is fantastic, not so dusty, bushes not that tall and you can easily spot the animals. We also had an unforgettable close encounter with 3 male lions while our car didn't have any window at all ( It was terrifying & fun experience).

We would like to praise our Guide and Lamai Serengeti Staff for providing us an unforgettable vacation in Serengeti.
To our Guide, he was extremely knowledgeable and always very polite and we learnt a lot from him. He is one of the best guide we've ever seen. I think he is a very valuable asset to Nomad Tanzania Company
