Properly organized safari, unforgettable experience !
4/5

4 DAYS LOW BUDGET SAFARI IN SERENGETI, NGORONGORO & TARANGIRE - solo traveller.
Based in Kenya and having a representative in Arusha, “Trip Advisor Africa Safaris” has extensive experience in Tanzanian parks and safaris. Vincent Seth, its director, is very friendly, responding always willingly to all e-mails and questions.
As usually, you end up in a car of a different agency but that’s not important...
The poor conditions of the campsite in Serengeti, the risk to sleep with a stranger in a small tent - which didn’t happen with difficulty - and my window of the vehicle which didn’t open - but we had an open car roof - they were nothing compared to the greatness of the 3 parks!
The price was affordable, time was always respected, the 6 pax group was fine, the driver and the cook were nicely professional, we were always busy and active, the number and diversity of animals were amazing, the weather perfect... I am happy! I could use their services again.

7-days budget trip
5/5

Just finished the Kenya trip. On the back to NL. When the memory still fresh: I chose tbe budget 7 day safari trip via Mojhi.com: Nairobi - Masai Mara- Nakuru - Amboseli - Naivasha - Nairobi. If this is not your first time, no need to go via Mojhi (they charge 10% fee), but since it was my first time alone in Kenya and due to lack of trust in the varied quotes and quality from local travel companies, I did it via Mojhi and the fee was worth it. I was grouped with other six people (fortunately they were all very lovely which was obviously very important). The first two nights in Maaisa Mara was in a campsite (as I chose): in my tent there was no hot water for shower the first night, but in general a good experience, the sky in the night was amazing, btw, no internet in campsites (no surprise), there was mosquito net but I still got bitten a lot, mosquito spray is a MUST; one night in Nauru was in a hotel with 3- star hotel condition (with WiFi); in Amboseli it was campsite again but operated differently; till the last destination to Naivasha I was the only one left (other people in my group had shorter program), so got a private tour. Got to say it was pretty decent that the service quality remained the same: I wanted to take a walk in the town of Naivasha and didn’t plan to bother the guide (Bonifse if I spelled it correctly) since he had been driving long hours and it was not in the program, but he insisted to come along which turned out to be very necessary: there were not many tourists going into the town, I was stared by people along the way, some drink guys on the street were saying something (I suspected not nice things) and my guide now turned to a security guard. The hotel in Naivasha was decent too. Last day when I was brought back to Nairobi, my program officially ended, but since my flight was in the midnight, there were still a couple of hours so my guide arranged a smaller car and another driver Teddy showed me around a bit of Nairobi for free and dropped me off at the airport in the evening. Very happy with it. Had a pleasent chat with Teddy. Coming to the driver+guide, ours Bonifse was very punctual (actually he was one hour earlier to pick me up the first day because he took the traffic jam into account in the morning), not super talkative but very responsible person. Man, the roads conditions were tough especially in Amboseli. Be prepared.
Got to say the trip with Baboo was a good one, felt taken care of, turely enjoyed it.

Availability, kindness and exceptional planning!
5/5

From the beginning, Roberto and Floriana gave us all the information about our trip; we did a custom safari, and Savannah Explorers met all our needs. The Land Cruiser was perfect and always clean, and it had a refrigerator too, which proved to be extremely useful, especially when you are thirsty and would drink something good and fresh! Our driver Gerald is really professional, he has been a special guide and contributed to make our journey unforgettable.
Lodges and tented camps where we spent the nights were impeccable, from the delicious food to the suggestive locations, and we’ll always thank Savannah Explorers for the accommodations proposed.
What about the tour?! There are no words to describe the beauty of Tanzanian parks, its animals and nature. We visited Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and the area of Ndutu during the migration.. we couldn’t believe in the existence of such beautiful places! We hope to come back soon, and definitely we will choose Savannah Explorers as our tour operator.

Safari.....Exciting! Savannah Explorers is king of savanna!
5/5

I/We like everything about safari tour. The guide Ricardo is a good driver and he carried us to watch many many many animals.
We don't know organization about tented lodges, so we were surprised, but we like all lodges where we staied overnight during safari and... good choice for the hotel in Zanzibar.
Good assistance of Savannah Explorers (for visa, for change..) before our departure from Italy.

Amazing experiences with a great staff
5/5

I was extremely lucky to find these guys!! The tour they organized for me was absolutely stunning, and Eli and the guys made me feel at their home like a member of the team, a member of their family. Everything was well planned, the guys were overwhelmingly friendly and helpful, the safari and the organization was very well done. They made my stay in Tanzania as one of my best experiences in Africa!
Thank you guys!

Wonderful safari and awesome relax in Zanzibar !
5/5

SIMPLY PERFECT. We have been on the 7-Days-Private-Safari in February 2018 and 7-days of pleasant relaxation in Zanzibar with Savannah Explorers. We went around Tarangire NP, Lake Manyara NP, Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro NP. The safari was from the beginning until the end an awesome experience. Roberto, who organized our safari, always responded very quickly to my requests and everything on our two weeks trip. During the 7 days safari we enjoyed the company of Isaac a perfect driver with a lot of experience. He was able to find many good places to spot animals and last but not least he spoke a perfect italian language. The lodges and tented camps, where we stayed in, (Lake Burunge Tented Camp, Tloma Lodge and Kati Kati Tented Camp) were wonderful, clean, excellent locations, excellent food and very kind staff. Everything for the transfer to Zanzibar was perfectly organized and we enjoyed a beautiful stay.
Thank you so much to Roberto, Floriana, Greyson and Isaac for this beautiful trip.

Awesome!
5/5

I don't really have words to describe my experience with Hekima, this was beyond fantastic! I went to Tanzania for one week to meet my sister who was doing an internship in a hospital and was expecting to stay on my own for long periods of time until I met the Hekima family! They organized all my trips and sightseeing and treated me like family, never felt so welcomed in a country before! Amazing treatment, Very good value for money and extremely organized! The accommodation was also very good, even got a complementary upgrade on the first nights!
