There was a variety of wildlife. The game drive operators seemed knowledgeable at what they were talking about and we had a great time

pure wild life. environments almost untouched and very far from the life of us Westerners. animals, savannah, centenarian trees and a warm but tolerable climate.

Blown away by Botswana

Booked a 10 day mobile Safari from Maun to Kasane.
First night was spent in Maun before a 3 day 2 night camping trip on the Okavango Delta. Fantastic experience to be poled through the reeds. Great walking safaris enjoyed. We then had one night back in Maun before embarking on the next leg - Moremi, Kwai, Savuti and Chobe NP
We were on a private trip - just my husband and I with a guide, camp chef and camp hand. Basic facilities added to the magical experience of being one with nature. The highlight had to be sitting with the Marsh Pride of Lions in Savuti at sunset - with no other game viewers present. Other top sights were the leopards in Kwai and the herds of buffalo and elephants at Chobe.
My top tip would be to take a buff to cover your face from the dust when travelling plus loads of moisturiser and lip balm!
We were amazed at the food our Chef rustled up on the open fire and enjoyed fantastic evenings at the campfire listening to music and learning more about Botswana.
Our trip was a budget experience - no air conditioning, no en suite etc as we were in tents on camp beds with bush toilet and shower! It was very hot and in the afternoons especially all you could do was sit in the shade but it was an amazing time - one that would be difficult to beat.

Untrustworthy operator, you will not get what you were promised; STOLE my private Facebook pictures
1/5

Out of a 3-day Serengeti Safari, we disappointingly spent nearly 2 full days in transit due to delays caused by the operator and ended up in humid tents on a public campsite that was not fenced or protected against wild animals at night and offered 5 toilets for 50+ people. In contrast what we booked and were thus promised even in written format by Calvin Onkendi, the owner of World Safari Land Tours, was a protected campsite with fixed tents equipped with a bed as well as a private bathroom. It is fair to state that our budget was not extremely extensive, but it is unfair and unethical having been lied to and not having received a refund that was promised to us, clearly in retrospective to appease us in the very situation.

Additionally, I was extremely shocked to find out (by coincidence) that the named owner had stolen my private Facebook pictures, not only the ones from the Safari, but even pictures of myself at home or in different locations, and had published and used them without my permission, in one occasion even depicting me as his girlfriend // affair. This is something that has never happened to me, which is why I would like to warn against this tour operator - the business practices I have experienced are highly untrustworthy and the behavior of the owner is intolerable!!!

Outstanding Sergengeti-Safari experience with Mussa
5/5

I experienced Mussa as an enthusiastic, engaging and thoughtful guide on a 3-day Serengeti-Safari who is fully knowledgeable about wildlife and nature. He made our game drives interesting and educational, always finding the perfect observational spots for us that resulted in many many great pictures we were able to take. He always navigated us safely through difficult driving conditions, was friendly and honest at all times, and made the best out of the conditions that were given to us (unfortunately through a different tour operator we experienced a very disappointing accommodation situation). Mussa is definitely a guide who is willing to go the extra mile for you and make your Safari-experience an unforgettable one.

Thank you very much Mussa for this great experience!

We feel the spirit of Africa close to the nature and enjoy unique experience
5/5

We went to a special 25-day safari tour across Botswana through the wilderness of the Kalahari.
Jo (the owner of the company) and Andrew did a really good job. Andrew managed the camp with all the stuff and equipment, he had always a heedful helping hand for us and surprised us every day with delicious, fresh meals, mostly prepared on open fire.
Jo brought us save through all flooded roads in the Linyanti-Region. He knows a lot about nature, plants and wildlife and gave us special experience while observe and walking close to suricate or having sundowner with a male lion, walk away from us. He explained us some constellations of the African terrific starry sky. We had a very good time with a lot of wildlife in unique landscape. A little bit away from the main tourist routes, we supported the local people and used community campsites, in beautiful areas. The good organisation (Thank's as well to Christa), Jo and Andrew and especially the small group with 7 people, made the tour to an awesome trip. We quickly became a good team and it felt like travelling with friends.
