True Customer Care and Professional Guides
I booked a 4-weeks tour with Trans Kibo Travels including Kilimanjaro + Mount Meru climbing, safaris and Zanzibar trip.
Despite high constraints on my travel dates, the tour operator managed to organize my trip as per my wishes and within a short delay. I had sent a request for quotes to more than 10 other companies located either in France or Tanzania (Arusha and Moshi). Trans Kibo Travels was the most competitive one in terms of offer and prices. The communications by email were sufficient to plan everything and questions were answered quickly.
From airport arrival in Tanzania to my return in France, all the schedule has been respected, no issue with the transfers. Trans Kibo Travels employees and their manager were available to fix all issues. For instance, they provided me with a warmer sleeping bag (required for Kilimanjaro climbing) and an electric plug adapter, all this for free.
The safaris went fine, we saw all the big animals and the guides were friendly. Food was provided in sufficient quantities and quality was fine.
Concerning the Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru climbing, substantial tips had to be paid in addition to the initial cost. This was expected but it would have been better if this cost could be including in the initial bill for an easier budget management.
In summary, I would say that Trans Kibo Travels is a reliable company which is focused on its customer wishes. I am fully satisfied of the experience lived with them.
The beauty lies in nothingness.
The Makgadikgadi pans is a magical place where the beauty lies in the vast open pans where nothing goes on for a very long time. I enjoy Botswana in the December because of the rain fall and the bits of green coming out as well as the bird life. In the Makgadikgadi the bird never stop chirping because when the sun sets a different set of birds come out and the bird sounds never stop. During December there is a lot of rain thus there is a lot of wet pans which makes the driving very tricky sometimes (I almost rolled my bakkie in one instance) but the worst is driving on a wet pan is the rust, the pans contains salt and that salt goes in everywhere and there where it lies it makes rust. After you have driven the pans and admired the baobabs go to a place called "planet baobab" for some R&R (swimming, nice lunch) before going to the Makgadikgadi nature reserve. When going to the Nature Reserve go to Tree island first and spend the night there for these camps are very well looked after and there is no other camper close to you to spoil the sounds of nature. The nature reserve is loitered with elephants and what one must do drive all along the river and just relax and look around, you will be bound to see some animal life there. When exiting the reserve one can use the ferry or drive 30km up to exit the top. The fairy costs around R250 per car to cross the river. If you feel adventuristic drive thru the river (before you do this walk thru first and keep to the right). All and all this is an amazing place and one must go and enjoy the full journey that this place has to offer.

Northern Tanzania Experience
We had a five day safari in Northern Tanzania with Zohar African Safaris end of december and it was very, very nice.
Luckily a friend of ours, who has been to Tanzania a couple of months before us, had given us the recommendation to contact Zohar. The planning of the trip was great, because Lilian tailored the trip to what we were interested in and picked cosy places to stay overnight. The price for everything seemed very reasonable to us. From the moment of our arrival we felt really well-cared about and our experienced driver/guide Matthew was very friendly, informative and helpful and after a couple of days we felt like good buddies. The days in the National parks have been marvellous, we couldn't even imagine to see so many animals, from lions, big herds of elephants, giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, zebras, impalas, hyenas, jackals, leopards, cheetahs and many more to the cute little gazelles and the funny pumbas. Besides the animals we also really enjoyed the landscape which changes a lot from park to park and one morning we even made a bicycle excursion to a village with great views and interesting information about the local life. When we had questions during the trip, Matthew and Lilian were responsive at all times and helped us a lot, especially to spontaneously organize our further trip to Zanzibar.
In total we can highly recommend to go on safari with Zohar. They are very professional, kind, helpful and take good care of their customers. To us it was a unique positive experience.

A week in paradise
We had the perfect safari in South-Africa: the only thing we needed to take care of was our plane ticket to Johannesburg. As of the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly organized: somebody was waiting at the airport, quick transfer to the little plane (wonderful experience) taking us to Ngala. When we left the plane, our ranger was already waiting for us, and drove us to the beautiful lodge. Delicious food, extremely friendly people, we have seen the most amazing animals and birds during our 3-day stay there. We were sad to leave Ngala, but Kirkman's Kamp (also 3 days) was another wonderful experience - the "and beyond" organization stands up for its name, it is truly an "and beyond experience"! Everything is included, if you don't buy anything in the souvenir shop, there is no additional cost to the package price (there are no "hidden costs" - mini bar, all beverages, meals, bush aperos, ... are included)
Ute from Roho Ya Chui is a great travel agent, and she was extremely helpful, all questions we had before leaving were answered quickly! We can warmly recommend her!

Prefect trip to Kilimanjaro - pro and fun
When we decided to climb Kilimanjaro, we did not want to be part of a big group but be just the three of us.
With Mohagany, it has possible! Besides it did not reduce at all the pro organization and the effort involved to give us the best kili experience.
We also learnt at lot about people, the history and flora of kili.
We had a short timing and everything went according to the plan.
To conclude we had one of the best trip in our lives!

3 day great Safari Experience Northern Circuit
We (2 persons) asked for a 3 day safari. Nicole Versleijen produced within a few hours a suggestion/offer: the itinerary, lodges and price. The webbased presentation of the offer was great.
Tarangire (Serena lodge with a perfect sundowner overlooking lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro crater (Sopa lodge with again a perfect sundowner overlooking the crater) and Lake Manyara. The car was clean, reliable and comfortable. The driver, a very skilled guide, polite and an excellent compagnon. All together, although we have been on safari quite often: a GREAT ONE!! I can recommend Ajabu to everyone.

Kenya walking survivors made my unforgetable experience at an affordable price
Kenya Walking Survivors were there waiting for us at the airport. They are reliable and whom I can trust to guide you . They are always behind you to show you what the real Africa is all about. Game drives are thrilling taking you on the spot of the beautiful wildlife. The campsites chosen gave us a pleasurable stay and literally forget the long drive behind you. I wish to thank them for making this holiday a truly unforgetable one.
Excellent
We had Ian and Jordan for a day trip in Matobo trecking rhino and looking at the rock art. Ian was absolutely wonderful and so genuinely passionate about the area and history that it was the highlight of a 10 day tour through Zimbabwe and South Africa. Wonderful knowledge and easy to talk to. Defintely recommend them.

Perfect round-trip
Booked 8-day roundtrip starting from Johannesburg. Went to Sun City, via Panorama Route to Kruger and finally to Blyde River Canyon. Everything was perfectly organized and the hotels/lodges matched 100% with our expectations.
