Review about Mashatu Game Reserve by Daniel Romo Photography
Overall rating
5/5

Amazing experience, wonderful hospitality and truly committed staff. Can't explain how welcomed guests are. While some may pass at the idea of waking up at 5:00 AM to do a game drive, I implore you, you will never experience the wonder of something like that again, especially at Mashatu Game Reserve. All of the guides are experts in their craft and incredibly friendly people. Their combination of love for the wildlife and knowledge of the land is truly genuine.

Unparalleled Experience
Overall rating
5/5

Experiencing wildlife first hand as it truly is in nature is such an incredible experience that you can only fully appreciate it first hand. While traveling in the Northern Tuli Game Reserve region in Botswana I was in constant awe of natures true beauty. There truly aren't enough superlatives to describe the beauty of this region and being in nature as it is.

Don't Worry, Be Happy.
5/5

Destination Jungle could easily adopt the title of the song, "Don't Worry, Be Happy" as their slogan. I originally contacted Destination Jungle because they offered the best rates for the trip I wanted. All through the planning process, my agent, Christina, happily answered all my questions (and there were quite a few) and made suggestions for the optimal experience in my travel to Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania. When I arrived at my first destination, Christina was there to introduce herself and brief me on the itinerary. She and my guides were accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly, and made me feel welcome and at ease in my travel as a single woman in unfamiliar territory. I couldn't ask for more. Traveling with Destination Jungle was a wonderful experience, and I was absolutely "happy", with "no worry". Thanks, Destination Travel!

Experience of a lifetime, with a gem of a company
5/5

Myself and my partner, Magdalena, sincerely thank Joseph for organising the trip of a lifetime for us!

We went on a 4 day safari, including Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater - which was more spectacular than we could have imagined - and successfully climbed Kilimanjaro. Throughout, we were impressed by the company's attention to detail, local knowledge, and most honourable behaviour - while offering a very budget price. As a first time visitor, it was a most welcome relief to have these trips in their safe hands.

In particular, our Kilimanjaro guides (John Wilbert and Justin Kimath) were completely fantastic. No exaggeration - there is no way we would have made it without their guidance, support and care. They were all-round nice guys with deep knowledge of the mountain and Tanzania in general.

A most enjoyable experience, whose memories we will treasure.

What a great holidays we had !
5/5

In 2013 we decided to go on holidays to South Africa and came in contact with Marianne. She helped us sorting out various B&B and hotel accommodations in South Africa and at every address we discovered a different atmosphere but always exceeded our expectations. We travelled from Capetown along the coast to Kruger and the icing of the cake was our last resort. The game resort that Marianne arranged for us was absolutely great and we have gained such great memeories that I am sure that one day we will come back. And if such day comes I will immediately contact her again to be surprised about new undiscovered locations.

Whenever you go to South Africa and you would like to spent time in locations with a unique atmospere and you want to be sure to see the best of the wild life do not hesitate but contact Marianne Birrell.

Unforgettable experience
5/5

In a group of 10 we went for a 4 days safari to the Selous game reserve. A large group like this is hard to manage, but our guides were very punctual, accommodating and very well informed. They answered all the questions about the animals and made sure we got really close to them to have an amazing experience. Big shout-out to Kapande and Charles!! Kilililili!!!

Perfectly structured trip with an excellent skilled guide organized by a family business with heart
5/5

The safari trip was amazing. Everything was perfectly organized. The Lodges and Tented Camps were great and the service as well as the food exceeded all expectations. We saw allot of animals and different landscapes and stayed overnight in a Maasai hut. Our tour guide, who stayed with us for one week, was great and had an excellent knowledge of the animals, geographic and culture. The car was well equipped and we got lunch during all our trips. The people from Makasa were really nice and we were glad to meet them in person. We highly recommend MAKASA Tanzanian Safaris.

Excellent First Time Safari Adventurer
5/5

During a recent visit to South Africa, I had one day to do a Safari Tour. Since I was near the Lion Park area, I contacted Deeprift Ventours (Jason Pollard) for a tour of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. I am quite happy I did.
DeepRift was very accommodating even when I did not quite well know what day I would be available. They were flexible and very reasonable cost wise. The tour was adequate since it afforded me an opportunity to see several wild animals in their natural habitat. The host was pleasant and very knowledgeable as well. My only regret is that I should have reserved more time to do a multi-day safari tour. Looking forward to doing that again in the future.

Trip of a lifetime
5/5

I loved my trip with Odyssey Safaris. Our guide Erastus, was so wonderful! From the moment we met him, he had a big warm smile on his face. He was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, funny and patient with all of my millions of questions. I can't say enough good things about him. He was great at spotting the animals & knew so much about them. He was just so great! The safari's themselves were amazing. My photos don't do it justice. It's something I recommend everyone to see once in their life. The staff at Odyssey- Beatrice, Lucy & Mark, were so great and helpful. They would respond to my emails quickly & were also patient with all of my questions. Highly recommended. I can't say enough good things about this company. Really hoping to go back to Kenya again, and will definitely use Odyssey Safaris again!
