Review about Lake Nakuru National Park by B.V.N.Kishore
Overall rating
5/5

At Nakuru we spotted the Back Rhino right next to the camp as we were going out for game drive. It waited, gave us photo pose, crossed the road before vanishing in to the bushes. There were lions sleeping on the hill slope close to the road, and giving us perfect pose to capture on our cameras. Adding to the adventure our driver and cook helped another vehicle to replace a Tyre of another car which had a puncture right in front of the sleeping lions. The lions woke up after replacement was done as the people were boarding the vehicles and got a shock seeing them out of the vehicles.
White Rhinos were sighted very closely like as if we could talk to them as they crossed the road. Our driver was always keeping us at a safe distance and would move away from them seeing their reactions.

Highly Recommended !!Great drives with experienced and very friendly guides !!
5/5

In April 2015 I stayed 5 nights in the Kruger Park ,doing every day safaris starting 6 o clock in the morning.
It was a bit hard ,to get up 5 times at 530 , but well worth it !! We had beautiful sightings due
to the excellent knowledge of my guides Bernhard and Hennie, and we had the occasional luck you need to see very
rare animals. The overall service was perfect, I was picked up at Skukuza airport, very convenient, everything was explained in
detail to me and I could come up with own wishes / requests at any time .Great picnics with fresh prepared
food, it was very comfortable and the overall atmosphere in the car was friendly and highly professional !!
I have been quite a few times to Kruger Park before , but these drives were the best days / drives I ever had
in Kruger !! After the trip, I received great photos of my wildlife sightings , the fine memories are still alive !!

If money permits , I will return in next years September !!

Most Exciting part of our safari - Amboseli park
Overall rating
5/5

Wildlife - The abundant number of elephants was astounding. we saw herds of Elephants roaming freely and many crossing the roads right in front of us.
Weather was extremely cool and cloudy, Scenery - With Mount Kilimanjaro the background was great.
Accommodation was in tented camp and the facilities like water and electricity were taken care very nicely.
Transport - The vehicle provided was Toyota van with flexible roof opening which was in perfect condition. even though it had a seating capacity of 6 people Kenya Walking provided the entire van for our exclusive use.
Guide- Our driver Mr. Zakari doubled up as our guide with in-depth knowledge of animals and birds. What's more his eyes never missed an animal or bird, man we could not see with naked eyes till we zoomed our cameras.
Highlights - We saw one lioness with 2 grown up cubs , 2 herds of Elephants coolly walking past our vehicle on two different occasions, Giraffes, Hyenas, Hippos, Zebras, Wild beasts, Gazelles, Impalas walk past our vehicle. Wild buffaloes and wart hogs were sighted within a few meters.

Excellent Safari, Incredible Guide and Service
5/5

Overall the safari was great from start to finish. Everything from the lodging, the food, the company, the locations scouted and the knowledge of our guide.

Below are the key areas we considered when rating our experience with Quest Horizon...

Knowledge of the guide of the area and environment - Very knowledgeable. Knowing endless facts and patient enough to repeat the same things over and over when each person asked the question in various forms. Knew animal and bird types, where to find the best view of the wildlife, able to scout locations of lion prides, spotting wildlife we could not even see with binoculars, etc

Camps - Everything is organized, clean and comfortable. We found that the camps surpassed even the hotels and top accommodations we have experienced in west and east Africa.

Food - Food at the camp and safaris were very good, it was not really what I would consider camping (accommodation or the food). It was a shock how good the food was prepared and presented given the fact you are in the “bush”. The packed lunches were specially made to accommodate dietary restrictions (we are super particular) and they were specially made and every request was granted with a smile on their face.

The breathtaking beauty of the desert left me speechless.
Overall rating
4/5

I had high hopes of the park as a I like deserts. But the colours and shapes of the landscape far exceeded my expectations. I loved the Namib desert. It is surprising how animals can survive in such a harsh environment but they do. The sight of Oryx (in my view the most beautiful of the antelopes) set against the massive, golden dunes will stay with me forever. The lodge we stayed in was the friendliest and prettiest in our whole trip.

Unbelievable Place
Overall rating
5/5

Although this was my wife and I's first safari, we had both done a little research and what we both wanted was a game reserve that gave us a healthy chance of seeing amazing wildlife without being in such a touristic hub that the "magic" of being in the wild was diminished in any way. We were not disappointed! Selous is one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited, and everything from the great Rufiji river to the other bodies of water, mountains and vast open spaces were breathtaking. We hardly saw any other tourists there which was actually a great thing when we saw lions and elephants and similar animals as we really got to enjoy the serenity of being a few meters away from these majestic creatures with nothing except ourselves and our guide within miles.

Our hotel was absolutely outstanding - Serena Mivumo. It's a lodge that overlooks the Rufiji river and is nothing short of exceptional. Amazing staff, luxurious bungalows and just generally great food and service. Highly recommended.

Amazing
5/5

This company was professional from the first moment I made contact via email. My concerns and questions were addressed promptly and professionally, and every detail was covered prior to my departure. Upon arrival our driver was professional and informative. Never did we have any concern or question that was not addressed efficiently and to our satisfaction. Our accommodation exceeded our expectations, and the trek itself was phenomenal. We visited mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National Park, about a 2.5 hour drive from Kigali. This is not to be missed!

Convenient location from Nairobi.
Overall rating
3/5

We were able to see most animals pretty easy. the park is very close to the city and is easy to get to, however from a scenery aspect you can see the city from most places. When selecting a guide make sure they have a land cruiser or similar, we had a small van and we got stuck in the mud for almost three hours. We had limited time so the National park worked well. If you go I recommend the Elephant Orphanage it was a nice stop.
