Someone we can trust
5/5

I traveled with 3 friends to Tanzania and Kenya, and we wanted to do a Safari to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro not so expensive (budget safari), so we started to do a vast research thanks to the Lonely Planet advices (some really nice agencies but expensive as well) and in safaribookings.com we found Safari Multiways with the best offer (price and quality), so we took contact with them and we always received a quick, kind and clear reponse of all the details that we wanted to know.

So, afte to compared like 10 different agencies or more, we chose Safari Multiways, for the price/quality rapport and we also had a really good feeling with his owner (Romeo).

Once being there, the services were as they describe it, really profesionnal, our guide (Omari) was nice outgoing person, profesional and always care about us to see all the best of the fauna. We really feel that he knows all about the fauna, parks and everything. Our cooker, Popo was really nice also, always with good food.

If I do another safari in north of Tanzania, I will not hesitate to do it with them !

Many good things and a big negative
3/5

-We stayed with the owner of the tour, John, in his Masai house in the Olalaimuitek village for 3 nights which was in total a cheap and different/nice experience like living one of them wihout electricity and water in nature. As we arrived there at night, we had some problems with the driver who dropped us, John was very nice and calming us. The bed was very comfortable but without a mosquito net. The food prepared at home was delicious. One day we climbed up to the hill with his brother, he was a nice person. There were lots of children in the village, we and they were very happy to meet, play with them and take photos together.
-So about the safari, we planned initially a 2 full day safari tour. Since the price John offered us was good, we decided to do it with him. He doesn''t have his own 4x4, so it is kinda getting let from another person. On the first day we had a driver which was ok. And on the second day the actual owner of the car was driver. John was practically a guide there in the car on both days. Safari itself was nice, they were trying to find animals and going near and waiting for us to take photos. But here comes the big NEGATIVE on the second day. They told us that we will go to the 'deep parts of the park to see cheetas which we couldnt see on first day. What practically happened was, we went to another gate (Sekenani) after half an hour drive, instead of the nearest one (Olalaimuitek). The owner of the car told us that he is also working and living near that gate. So he knew a way to enter the park without passing through the gate, went basically though the quarters and didn´t pay 160 dollars in total, which they took from us to pay to the enterance. When we asked about it, they told that there was a line at the gate and they would pay it when going out. When we left the park after 3 hours through the same path, we asked again about the tickets. Then they -mostly the driver- started to find some excuses and lies about it. It was so irritating that we insisted on to get the tickets. Finally when they understood that we won't give up, they decided to drop us home and told that they are going to the other gate to bring us tickets. We wanted to go together, but the driver told us that 'it is forbidden for us to stay outside at that hour'' and refused. It was 7 pm and the gates were closed. Of course they couldt get any ticket and it was anyway not possible to get it for an early hour. So they found solution in buying us a new ticket on the next day with the money which we gave them before. In that way we had a free enterance for the third day which was actually good for us. But we payed them for the third day for the car again, so they profitted anyway. It was extremely irritating to feel that they are trying to fool us so cheap (and also their own community and villages, since a part of the money goes to them when you pay normal enterance on the gate).
-Again about the stay, the only negative thing for the home stay was that, people who were preparing the food were waiting in front of us and looking at us while we were eating. They were telling us that they would eat after us but at the same time were telling that all the food on the table belongs to us. So we didnt feel comfortable to finish the food of course. Sometimes the food was big enough for mayn people but sometimes not. Tried to solve the problem with communication but it was not very succesful. But i am repeating again, the food was very delicious and another plus for it, that they prepared all without a tap and practically any kitchen, incredible! Maybe this feedback can be helpful for them to make it better.
-So for the home stay i'd give 5 stars. For that issue on safari 1 star despite the good things. In total 3 stars. I am sorry for that, since i know that John is actually a warmhearted person but I hope this will not happen to anyone again in that way.

Thank you TWD for making our trip an amazing experience!

John, our game drive, is a very nice person, good driver, extremely professional, attentive to detail, polite, discreet and has a hawk eye for animals.

Lunches were tasty. Service was top! Warm food, cold wine, fresh coffee and good cookies... and nice tableware :)
We loved every detail.

We strongly recommended Tanzania Wild Destination!

An unforgettable trip
5/5

During the end of August to September two weeks, I joined Masai Mara tour and Kilimanjaro trekking.
In Masai Mara, I watched wild animals in that national park. Their action are not same with zoo animals. Relationship of life and death is being seen vividly. In addition, I watched animals I've never known.
My favorite memory is girrafe and lion. We greet each other on 1 meter, and they worked naturally :-> so cute!!
We tourist stay with natural Masai tribe. Their every culture is fresh for us modern people.

Kilimanjaro trekking days depends on course. Malangu route takes 5 days to top. I spent with some porters to top. During the walking, they cheer up me with their kilimanjaro song. I love it!!!
Plants, animals, birds, and sky are changing when we walk, that's why it's not boring, of course tired haha
The top of sky is like an universe. I won't forget the view in the future!

This pack tour is not so sky high, so you guys should join to experience what we won't experienced in the future!!!

first class service from initial contact to last moment
5/5

James organised a 3 day Tsavo east and west safari for us. We stayed at Salt lick and Serena amboselli and were very impressed by both of the lodges.
The service offered was first class and staff very welcoming and friendly. Our driver was experienced and we managed to see the BIG FIVE.
I shall be booking my Tanzania Safari with this company for next year and will recommend James and his company to all my friends.

It was a memorable experience, they made this trip a dream come true!
5/5

It was a memorable experience, they made this trip a dream come true! Everything went perfect according to the plan, and we did notice the difference of services between Tanzania Wild Destination and other companies. What they offer Is wonderful! We don’t regret our decision to do this tour with Tanzania Wild Destination. The price is worth it!

Charlse, our guide is an exceptional person. We enjoyed his company a lot, and he has a special sense for animals, so we got to see a lot of them. He’s also a very good driver! We couldn’t ask for a better guide, and we feel very lucky to have had him with us. This experience was beyond our expectations.

An experience not to miss out on
5/5

Fantastic trip of Zanzibar Island and Tanzania Safari arranged by Tanzania Wild Destination. The accommodations are great, the communications are clear and Mr. Jesse and Mark take good care of any visiting tourist. İ would certainly recommend that travelers should watch out for the weather before traveling to Tanzania due to its varying rainy weathers and sunny days, and try to avoid Safari during rainy days for the ultimate fun experience. I find Tanzania very safe, people are very friendly and go extra steps to help you out. We really enjoyed very much

Great company and amazing tour Guide
5/5

My wife, best friend and I booked an 8 night private safari in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara with Rupia Adventure. We had an amazing time and would HIGHLY recommend this company. Specifically, our tour guide Elasto made a great trip into one we will never forget.

Planning: Booking a safari tour in Africa from the Nepal is a lot harder than your standard vacation. There seem to be close to a hundred or more tour companies and unfortunately bad actors among them. We almost decided to cancel our entire trip because we had such a bad experience wiring money to another fraudulent company before finding Rupia Adventure. Janniken at Rupia Adventure was great to work with. Prompt, friendly and gave us helpful suggestions in preparing our itinerary. We are also amateur photographers, so she made sure we had the right equipment in our vehicle and a guide knowledgeable for this type of trip. We priced the same semi-luxury itinerary with several other companies and Rupia Adventure was the most competitive.

Safari: I'm in my late 30s and being on safari for me brought back the excitement I felt being a kid in Disney. We were the first ones out of the camp and the last ones back in every day. Every morning we felt excited about the adventure our guide Elasto would take us on that day. He was not only an expert at spotting animals, but also in knowing their behaviors and anticipating their movements. He helped us set up countless epic shots with his understanding of light and shooting angles. His passion for nature was evident and his knowledge of the country, parks and wildlife was impeccable. Most importantly he was always an absolute pleasure to be around. We considered ourselves supremely lucky to have drawn him.

Thank you Elasto and thank you Rupia Adventure! Hope to be back as soon as possible!

Beautiful
5/5

What a fabulous two weeks Safari and Beach. Every lodge we stayed was excellent, with a huge warm welcome and excellent service. Our fabulous guide John was brilliant, we saw so much and he listened to everything we wanted to do, and provided a perfect 8-day safari. We had picnic envy most days, as we sat down to a hot meal with wine, coffee, and biscuits.

We finished in Zanzibar, in a fabulous hotel, Paradise.

The service we got from the office, who were very patient with us, when helping us with the plan, and the holiday exceeded our expectations.

Jaco made this the most unforgettable vacation!!!
5/5

We had a group of 6 friends exploring Panorama Route and Kruger National Park for the first time. Jaco single-handedly made this the most unforgettable vacation!
- He has an eye of an eagle, and can spot animals and birds of all sizes from really far away. Once spotted, he would stop the car and take his time telling us so many interesting facts about "our finding", addressing countless follow-up questions from us!
- Jaco is a walking encyclopedia, extremely passionate about its content! For 6 days, we were drowning him with a never-ending stream of questions, and he answered all of them.
- Jaco also made us fall in love with the bush. His passion about the nature around him and yet his humbleness and desire to always learn more is quite inspiring!
- Travelling with a local was a rewarding experience, as Jaco told us so much about South Africa in general (culture, history, daily life, etc.).
- I will never forget dinners Jaco cooked for us by the fire under the the clearest starry sky!!! He kindly let us help him prep the food, and that only added to the overall experience! The food was so delicious, and we are sure to try some of these recipes at home!
- Jaco has a great sense of humor, and over just 6 short days became more of a friend than a guide!

Jaco, thank you very much for creating this amazing experience for us! We are hoping to explore many more corners of the world with you in the future!
