We drove through the country a little and the coffee and tea fields were nice.

We wouldn't have changed a thing
5/5

After a safari to Botswana in September 2014 we decided to visit Tanzania in green season, deliberately targeting Selous and Ruaha as a less busy area. Both locations far exceeded expectations and offered a very varied landscape with wildlife to match.

Our three camps were different in character and in how they operate. We were so glad we spent five nights at each as this allowed time to fully explore each area as well as getting to know the guides and staff. We didn't travel with expectations of seeing particular animals and with the bush in full growth thought sightings might be more elusive. However, we saw everything we thought we might see and much more. The number and variety of birds, including migrants, was stunning.

Everything went like clockwork, including camps being aware that we are vegetarian (not a problem!). Without exception staff were friendly, welcoming, informative and helpful. The time flew by and more than 3,000 photographs later, we were sad to leave. We wouldn't have changed a thing.

Uganda safari? Don't doubt, go with Karumuna. You will not be sorry.
5/5

Experience of a lifetime. Karumuna Safaris (Richard Kisembo) arranged everything perfectly and our guide Ashadu was great. He knew litterally all the roads in Uganda including the paths in the Nat.Parks, he knows all the wildlife and birds, he has a good network with the guides from other touroperators, including the more expensive international touropertators (which are mainly more expensive because of the international middleman) whom stay in touch to keep each other informed what can be seen where. Our guide, Ashadu, was also very flexible, very friendly and trustworthy (very important).
To be honest we were a bit reluctant at first to book directly with a touroperator from Uganda, cutting out the expensive middleman, because of 'the big unknown' for us. But Karumuna Safaris, Richard Kisembo and our guide Ashadu came through and delivered in a big way.
So if you are planning to go on safari in Uganda I can definitely recommend Karumuna Safaris. If you want to see the real Africa, meet friendly people, see the Big 5 and have the privilege to see chimpanzees and gorillas, go! Go to Uganda! Go with Karumuna Safaris. They are also cheaper than the (more) international touroperators and the money stays where it should, in Uganda instead of the pockets of middlemen.
Karumuna Safaris, Richard and Ashadu we (me and Jeannette) would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything. We will never forget and we hope you get all the business you deserve.

Very professional and knowledgeable tour company
5/5

I traversed tourism attractions in the Albertine Rift with Mj Safaris in late. Among the attractions we visited during the four day adventure included Queen Elizabeth National Park, Lake Mburo NP and Lake Bunyonyi.
Among the many things I'll remember this trip for is James (our driver guide) heavy accent for flora and fauna. He equally had an impressive knowledge about cultures of Uganda. The gent who must be in his early 30s was equally always happy to help us in getting terrific discounts at the safari lodges.
Long story short, I highly recommend MJ safaris especially to folks in need of eco-tourism encounters that awaken the sense of wonder.

Great 1-Day Tour
5/5

We had an excellent time on the 1-day Ngorongoro Crater tour with Emmanuel. He is a very knowledgeable guide and was great at spotting animals from a distance. We saw the black rhino, along with Buffaloes and lions. Emmanuel's knowledge was also superior to that of other guides. While waiting for the black rhino to stand up (it was laying in the middle of some tall grass), another tour guide with a different company began making weird animal sounds and banged on his car door to provoke it, but failed. Emmanuel informed us that the black rhino was not a friend of noise and windy conditions. We waited patiently for about 5-10 minutes after the other guide left and voila - the black rhino stood up for us and we got a picture in all its glory. We really lucked out considering how short our tour was! We'd definitely recommend Dahlia tours!

Fun 1-Day Tour!
5/5

My husband and I had an excellent time on our tour with Stephan and Emmanuel. Stephan made us feel comfortable, safe, and secure from start to finish. Emmanuel is a very knowledgeable, funny, and welcoming guide. Overall they were both fun and great at anticipating our needs throughout the tour; at one point Emmanuel found a walking stick and offered it to me without me having to ask (and it really came in handy!). Stephan also offered to drive us to a restaurant in the event our hotel's kitchen was closed for the night. I'd definitely tour with Lindo Travel again!

Exhilarating experience
5/5

Thank you for 3 days of an exhilarating experience with Safaris for Africa- I never imagined I would see so much much wildlife in 2 days in the Hluhluwe - Imfolozi Park . The tour operator was thoughtful and caring, every need taken into account - the guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining ; they had paid a lot of attention to specific requests regarding special dietary needs which was much appreciated . I will be recommending this operator to friends and family !

Most exciting adventure ever with the best possible guides who spotted animals galore for us.
5/5

Excellent, couldn't have hoped for more. I learned heaps about Kruger and how the animals work. The tour exceeded my expectations with information and photographic advice as well as great service by out tour leaders and the restaurants we ate in.
