Review about Kruger National Park by Graham
Overall rating
5/5

Kruger is the crown jewel of the South African National Park system. It's huge and it has everything. It would be hard to name a better national park in Africa, or even in the world.

An amazing 3-week trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar!
5/5

We had three weeks to discover the beauty auf Tanzanian national parks and Zanzibar! From the beginning, we had a good feeling about Makasa which was confirmed in each step from the planning of the trip to the actual journey! The organisation of logistics was spotless. And we saw soooo many beautiful scenes, that it is difficult to say what we liked most! From a herd of elephants that we found ourselves surrounded by on day 1 of the safari, over cute little lions, cheetas, elephants and even a leopard baby, to observing a rhino mother with its - not so small - baby. We loved it! Our guide humphrey had a great feeling for what we wanted to see! And we were rewarded several times due to his skill of spotting animals without the help of walkie talkies that the big companies all use! We were so proud of him and it was great fun! :-)
Zanzibar was a relaxing last week and we truly loved the blue safari which allowed for relaxed swimming and dining far away from tourists. But the highlight of the trip was clearly the safari.

From birds to mammals to scenery, Kgalagadi has it all.
Overall rating
5/5

The wildlife at Kgalagadi is the main reason to go, in my opinion. You'll have a great chance of seeing lions, meerkats, eland, gemsbok, ostrich, warthogs and more. As a birder, I enjoyed seeing things like Verreaux's Eagle Owl, Secretarybird, Black-chested Snake-eagle, swallow-tailed bee-eaters and many, many more. The facilities/accommodations are excellent as well, and the park is easily accessible and well-maintained. The massive Kgalagadi Transfrontier Pakr is one of the gems in the excellent South African National Park system, and one of the few that is comparable to Kruger.

“Great Tour Company, thrilling gorilla trekking in the mist in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest”
I and my friends were overwhelmed by the exhilarating tour to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Under Charis Uganda Safaris Ltd, we went to Trek the gentle giant - the mountain Gorilla - we were professionally handled by our tour guide Joseph Olupot who was friendly and helpful. The Gorilla Trekking was well organised and the park rangers were magnificent. Should you desire to have a great experience while on holiday, consider Uganda and Charis Uganda Safaris Ltd.

Review about Ruaha National Park by Sergej Osipov
Overall rating
5/5

Ruaha was probably the most splendid park we have spent time in. Beautiful Baobab valley on the way there and hundreds of elephants inside the park along with all other kind of wild life did make a huge impression.

Review about Mikumi National Park by Sergej Osipov
Overall rating
4/5

We have stopped in Mikumi 2 times on our way to/from Ruaha. It is a beautiful park, we probably encountered a little bit less of the wildlife than in other parks, but this could be due to seasonal changes and animal movement.

Wild Wings - You've Exceeded Expectations, AGAIN
5/5

This is my second time calling upon Wild Wings for travel in the South Africa area. I will call on them again and highly recommend them to you. From our hotel arrangements in Joburg to our private guide in Joburg to hotel arrangements in Victoria Falls to lodging in Cape Town to safari with Neil in Kruger to Kambaku River Sand lodge in Timbavati reserve, everything was in order and exceeded expectations. On this my second trip to SA I brought my wife and two other couples, none of whom had been to Africa before. They were impressed the whole way.

Just as an indication of the quality and diligence of Wild Wings - our flight from Vic Falls to Cape Town was delayed and so timing for our transfer to hotel was off - NO, the driver was there and Wild Wings was calling the hotel as we arrived to make certain all was well - its service that results in return business!

I had Neil as a guide 2 years ago and asked for him again. All six of us thoroughly enjoyed him as a guide and companion. He is knowledgeable, humorous and a great cook.

The recommendation to book at Kambaku River Sands was spot on. Intend to return there.

I cannot highly recommend enough the service and value provided by Wild Wings.

Paradise of the elephants
Overall rating
4/5
