Review about Ol Pejeta Conservancy by mwangee
I've never seen so much wildlife in one place. If you're looking for a quick Safari destination, this might be your best bet. And while at it, visit the only place with chimpanzees in Kenya and the rhino sanctuary. You might want to extend your stay like I did.

Review about Nairobi National Park by mwangee
Being the only Game Park within a capital city means you can start your day in a meeting, enjoy 5-star lunch in town and end the day watching lions roam the plains, with the city Skyline in the background. There's no other place in the world you can do this.

Once in a lifetime...
An incredible experience in every way. It was a seemless South African trip from the airport pick up to the safaris, cage diving, hikes and wine tasting. Great Safaris did an incredible job in the planning and execution of our African experience, so that we could sit back and enjoy the ride. Highly recommended!

Review about Masai Mara National Reserve by mwangee
Once you land in Mara, you'll get to know why it was rated one of the seven wonders of the modern world. With flat landscapes as far as the eye can see, you'll easily spot lions, cheetah, buffalo, rhinos, elephants and if you're lucky like me, the elusive leopard. Getting to witness a river crossing by zebras and wildebeest is too awesome for words.

Professional, friendly and knowledgeable service with excellent attetion to detail
We had a fantastic experience with Kombi. Right from the outset, Steve and Rachel were helpful and attentive, taking on board our requirements and budget and coming up with an itinerary that suited us. There was no question too big or small and the pre-departure information was very thorough. Our guide, Archie, and driver, Robert, were knowledgable and friendly and made everything very easy for us from the moment they picked us up. We knew they were always there if we needed a hand and that they were also happy to give us some space which suited us as that is how we like to travel. The itinerary ran smoothly, nothing was left to chance and no corners were cut. Accomodation and food far exceeded our expectations and we felt that we got real value for money. The gorilla trekking was spectacular, once in a lifetime!
I would wholeheartedly recommend Kombi for great value for money and high professional standards. I've been on alot of tours all over the world and this one in Uganda really stood out for all the right reasons. We only had a short time in Uganda so it really made all the difference to have all of the details looked after for us so that we could enjoy the beautiful country that is Uganda. Travelling with a small company who are very invested in their work and in the communities was very important to us - it felt as much like a friendship as a client-customer relationship. We felt that we were saying farewell to true friends when Archie and Robert dropped us off at Entebbe.

Review about Lake Nakuru National Park by mwangee
Lake Nakuru is teeming with wildlife. Recent rises in water levels have reduced the number of flamingoes in the lake. The views from Baboon Cliff are still as spectacular as before.

Everything was absolutely amazing and all the details were just perfect!!
Great addition of safari and lakes at the end. We could never have put together such a well-planned visit by ourselves. Amazing! Thank you Meru Treks team....we would definitely recommend!!!

Review about Kakamega Forest National Reserve by mwangee
Apart from monkeys and birds, you won't get to see a lot of other wildlife. In the right season, butterflies fill the forest with colourful beauty.

My greatest jearney
When my wife and I visited Tanzania for the first time we were met by a fantastic warm welcome feeling, not only from the sun but also from Mr. Makara and his colleagues . We arrived in Arusha by bus from Nairobi (Kenya) in the middle of the night. Picket up by Gideon and driven to our hotel for a good night sleep - hospitality!
Our days on the Serengeti , in Ngorogoro , and other national parks remain as a great memory for all time.
Thanks Gideon !

It doesn't get wilder than this.
Being mostly bushland, it isn't easy to spot the cats in Meru National Park. There are however lots of grazers like the rare gerenuk, zebra, giraffe, buffalo, antelopes, hundreds of bird species from grouses to fiscals to hornbills, baboons and elephants. Temperatures are usually high during the day and it isn't rare for the Mercury to hit 30 Celsius. Roads are gravelled and well marked so it's easy to navigate using GPS or traditional map. I stayed at Bwatherongi Campsite which had clean public showers and toilets as well as a pool.
