Wonderful Safari! Amazing Tanzania is truly amazing!
Amazing Tanzania is truly Amazing! We booked a 12 day safari with AT in June of 2016. We are a family of four (kids 11 and 8) from the US. Laura was great to work with, she totally got us and was on top of every detail and believe me there are many details. We had a initial conversation on Skype and chatted about what my family is like and what we were looking for on our safari. Of course, we wanted to see all the animals, but we did not want over the top accommodations, we wanted unique cultural experiences, a guide that worked well with kids and opportunities hike or bike around. She came back to us with an itinerary that suited us perfectly! I had contacted a couple of other agencies prior to booking with AT and no one seemed to listen, they all came back with the standard itinerary. I highly recommend booking your trip with Amazing Tanzania!

Kenya 7 Days Unforgettable Safe Fun Adventure
This was a trip of a life time for us. A very professional company, a flexible owner and a friendly guide who works very hard to make sure you see as much as possible.
We landed early in the morning in Nairobi and were picked up by our guide, Eusty. Within hours, we were in Ambosseli national park viewing animals! Support has never ceased from the first to the last minute. Lodging and meals were perfect.
Eusty, our guide, was simply wonderful, cautious, experienced and knowledgeable about animals and his environment. He went over and above and navigated the terrains of Ambosseli and the Mara like a Boss. There is no doubt that There are several other drivers and companies out there that you could go with but, believe me, you won't have the same experience and connections Eusty creates to allow you to have a really great time. The attention to detail, care and the overall professionalism made this such an amazing trip.
So thank you so much Noah for your flexibility and prompt responses and thank you so much Eusty for making our journey An Unforgettable Safe Fun Adventure.

Attentive, Informative and Enjoyable Experience
Darren has a good handle on the places we visited. The Accomodation was great along with fabulous food.
We had great guide in Vic falls who handled our stay with professionalism & diplomacy.Doing the rapids down the Zambezi and visiting a local school were highlights. In Kasane we loved the accomodation and enjoyed the Safari's into the Chobe Nat Pk with a very Knowlegable guide. Okavango Delta though only for 2 days was fantastic. Great flights in and out and close up and personal with the African wildlife.

Excellent safari
The safari organized by Shemeji Safari & Tours had exceed our expectations. Everything was very well planned, our tour guide was extremely friendly and accommodating to our needs. At the same time Emma was of excellent help when unforeseeable circumstances on our side has forced us to change some of our plans. All in all, we can universally recommend Shemeji Safari & Tours to everybody looking for an amazing safari with some extra trips (we also went with them to Zanzibar).

Amazing safari with skilled and pleasant guides and amazing cook
We just returned from our 6 day safari with our guides Max and Temba and our chef Albert and truly had an amazing trip. We joined the trip with the 8 of us and saw all animals we hoped to see. Most impressive was the elephants crossing our paths and the lion group (>20 lions) with the cubs playing around. The guides paid the biggest respect to the animals and the nature and were able to bring us to amazing places spotting well hidden animals far before we could see them. They were also well equipped and trained to tell extensively about the animals and the whole ecosystems. Both guides were fluent in English. Chef Albert showed great creativity with cooking surprisingly good meals on a single gas pit.
Caracal responded almost instantly on our emails which was very pleasant. In addition they advised us to take 1 additional day serengeti which was a good choice as we had a very good game drive that day. Correspondence can be done in Dutch as well (in addition to English).
We can strongly recommend both the guides (Temba and Max), our chef (Albert) and the organisation.

Rave review
In October we went on a wonderful 5 day Armadillo safari. Their truck is so roomy it allows you to move around to get the best angle for photos, plus you are situated high above many obstacles.
The best part of the trip was our guide Morris, who was so in tune with the animals and always eager to share his knowledge and stories. He worked all day as driver, cook, and guide and never lost his enthusiasm. We started at 6 am, and later ate picnic breakfast and lunch at beautiful set aside areas in the park, with another picnic outside our rooms at night. I occasionally asked him if he was tired and would like a break, but he said no, he loved being out looking for the animals.
This small family-run company gets the highest recommendation from us!

Good value for the money
My tour was 6 days Massai Mara-Nakura-Amboseli.
Communication by email before the trip was prompt and reliable with Dennis. All arrangements and promises fulfilled. Reliable and easy going. Good vans, good camp accomodations, good hotel, good food.
I was 4 days (MM&Nakura) with Robinson and 2 days (Amboseli) with Stanley. Both were safe drivers, knowledgeable, experienced guides and caretakers. Both took care in a reliable manner to make my onward connections work. I would recommend both for other tours. Stanley with our small group at this trip leg (3 guests) was especially gentle and friendly.
Definetely I would book again with Bamboon
P.S.: If you go for a optional boat tour on lake Naivasha insist on a boat from the public beach 100 KSH/person instead of 3,000 KSH/person at the safari-tour-compound next (but you cannot walk over directly, because of little lagoon between)

Magic experience with It Started in Africa
This was the best way to do a safari in the Northern Circuit of Tanzania. But not only by the amazing and breathtaking national parks and conservation areas, but also the dedication and excellence of It Started in Africa in paying attention to all details to do your trip personalized, friendly and confortable. You don't need to worry about anything! And you feel you are travelling with friends! In addition, delicious food! Thanks a lot!

Great 4 Day Gorilla Tour
We did the 4 day gorilla and golden monkeys tour with Golden Rwanda. During this holiday we also did other tours with other operators in Kenya/Tanzania as well as Morocco. All of them were on the budget range of the tour price scales, but this one was by far the best of them.
Right from the time of booking, the communication was very good with Frank. He asked us about our expectations for the trip and we obviously said that we wanted to see the gorillas and the monkeys and we left the rest up to him and I'm glad we did. Being a private tour, we had some flexibility and managed to see some optional things like the twin lakes and Lake Kivu as well as a little village that has a setup where they teach you about their history and traditions (contrasted to a village we visited in Kenya where they let you look around and then try and sell you a bunch of Chinese toys they claim they made there).
The Genocide Memorial is by no means a happy place, but it is a must visit if you are in the area. If you are like almost every other North American, your knowledge of the genocide is limited to what you've seen in movies like Hotel Rwanda and the memorial gives does a really good job explaining the history of the country and how things built up to it. Really disturbing, but really interesting and important.
All of the accommodations we stayed in were basic, but clean and had very good service. One change to the itinerary was on our third night we ended up at Lake Kivu and that was actually a really nice little lakefront cabin and I would highly recommend it.
Frank was very friendly and knowledgeable and he drives a nice big newer Landcruiser, so the trip was comfortable. He definitely took the time to ask what we were interested in and personalized our tour accordingly.
When we first decided to go to Rwanda (we chose it over Zanzibar due to limited time) we thought we would just want to get in, see some gorillas and get out. I can honestly say that it was my favorite place we visited, the people were so friendly and it was really green and clean. Our only regret about our trip to Rwanda was that I wish it was a couple of days longer.
