Victoria Falls was spectacular!
We spent 2 days Victoria Falls after a 12-day safari in Kenya and Tanzania. It was a nice change from the more rural park settings. Zimbabwe was clean and the scenery was spectacular. We had dinner on a Zambezi River Cruise while we were there. The food was well prepared, and the service was great. Our guide for the tour of Victoria Falls was so friendly and knowlegeable; we really enjoyed our visit. The 12-minute helicopter ride was just the right amount of time to take in all the views of both the Zambia and Zimbabwe sides of the falls. We had lunch at the overlook cafe. The food was local and delicious, and our server was so sweet and helpful. The views at the cafe really helped round out our visit. We enjoyed watching the elephants meandering around as we drove down the main road.

Good mix of wildlife and beaches
The overall package was great to explore Kruger National park in 2 days from Johannesburg.
Great Place for the Big 5
It's a huge park and your odds of seeing what you're looking for are pretty good. We spent two days here and of the big five we got all but the lions (however the leopards are rarer and we did get them) plus zebra and several varieties of impala, gazelle and monkey. We also saw tons of birds including many Lilac-breasted rollers, red, yellow and ground billed hornbills and even a purple crested turaco. The facilities are well maintained and the park is one of the most easily accessible in Africa.

Uganda has terrible road structure, but wonderful wildlife and people.
Uganda is a beautiful country with wonderful people and amazing wildlife. What I did not enjoy was our car ride from the airport in Entebbe to Bwindi National Forest. It took 10 hours because their roads are in terrible shape, two-lane highways through small towns all the way. The distance we traveled would take 4 hours on roads from the US. But because they don’t have the infrastructure we do, it took 10 hours.

Petting a Cheetah
I visited Kruger National Park after three weeks of a study visit in South Africa. Unfortunately, we only had two days in Kruger and the trip was all organized by the host organization - so a lot of details regarding accommodations, transportation, and the like were not part of my trip.
Kruger Park for me was an absolutely fantastic experience. First of all, many people complain that the place has asphalt roads and that at times it can be crowded - and these all valid complaints. However, Kruger Park is so vast and crude - approximately the size of Switzerland. One of the guides that was driving us around told us that even if we were to travel every road in Kruger, we would be able to see only about 3% of all Kruger National Park. Needless to say, the scenery was absolutely stunning.
As for the animals, you can find there all sorts of animals. By the end of the day, we had seen at least some 27 kinds of animals, including four of the big 5. The only animal that we did not see was Leopard, and that was due to them being overall shy animals. However, keep in mind that this was only during one single day.
During the two nights, we slept at two different places - the names of which, unfortunately I can't remember. However, both of the places were great. One of them had animals running around within hotel area, but was slightly poshy. The meals were fantastic - especially if you are into meat and of different game. The other place where we slept was much more rudimentary, but it really made you feel the 'bush vibe'. This place was located within a game reserve, which included giraffes, elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, etc. There was no fence that separated these animals from you. Only walls of the lodges. At some point we met the 'tamed' cheetah which would hang out with us. We petted the cheetah and she would purr, but moments later she went on a hunt - one of those wilde hunts you see on TV. That was quite an experience.
I cannot possibly sum up in words the experience in Kruger, but I know that it was a great experience of which I did not get enough. What I do know is that eventually, I will go back again and get to stay a little longer.

Above our expectations
We visited Tanzania in November 2014. Normally we are backpackers, however for Tanzania we were advised to prearrange a (private) tour. After receiving several offers from different travel agencies, we chose World Air Travel because of their good offer and flexibility in making a few additional changes to get the best fit with our wishes. Thanks to Elias for his great advice.
Upon arrival we were picked up by John. A great tour guide: excellent knowledge about the Tanzanian flora and fauna, funny and smart guy, easy going while assuring enough privacy! He made it an unforgettable trip, it was hard to say goodbye ;-)
The tented camps were very luxurious. Every day delicious meals were provided by the different accommodations. The suggestion to go to Ras Michamvi at Zanzibar at the end of our trip, worked out really well.
We also recommend the balloon flight over the Serengeti. Also if you would surprise someone with this amazing experience, World Air Travels can keep it a real secret to the one being surprised.

Perfect destination - so many different environments and microclimates, you get a bit of everything
My sister and I went to Kenya and Tanzania and both were amazing, but Tanzania was just something special. The food was incredible, the scenery, parks and animals were beyond what you'd expect, everything was seamless and worked out great, and then we capped it off with a few days in Zanzibar, which is a slice of heaven. The parks were sometimes a bit crowded but that kind of made it more fun. I've been in other parts of Africa with fewer tourists, and they were nice, but the volume of animals and just vastness of TZ's parks is really amazing. And mt kili too!
