Amazing experience

Having been to the Addo Elephant National Park on four occasions, every time was as if I had never been as there was a special magic everytime. On my last visit I was lucky to see a lion kill and buffalo up close. Going out on the early morning bush drive, with the expectation of seeing something special was not a disappointment as I had never seen an anteater and he waddled out in front of us and stood transfixed in the headlights. As the sun rose on our way back to the camp, a Fish Eagle called to us from a tree right next to the road.

I cant wait for my next visit.

Expert tour company with thorough knowledge of all scenery and destinations in East Africa
5/5

Tropical Vacations were recommended to me by a friend in London. I was quite impressed by them when I last visited Kenya in March. For a whole month, they proved to be more cost effective than the ones I had used previously. In particular, I was impressed by their thorough knowledge about several scenic sites and destinations within the cities, suburban and in the countryside. I also liked their free an invaluable advice on how to quickly and cheaply navigate through my preferred destinations.
I'd highly recommend anyone to use them.

Fantastic way to see the wildlife in its natural habitat
Overall rating
5/5

Whilst staying in Johannesburg we decided to visit the game reserve. We wanted to see animals in their natural habitat rather than visit some of the parks around Johannesburg. Arriving at the park in the early morning we had missed the 5:30am game drive so we decided to drive our hire car around the many miles/kilometres of tracks and roads. With just a map as reference we managed to see Rhino, Giraffe, Zebra, Wild Dog, Warthogs, Impala, Springbok, Kudu, Elephant, Hippo, Leopard, Monkey and other smaller animals all the way down to the dung beetle we watched for 10 minutes trying to push its dung across the road. There is so much to see although we couldn't find any Lions, probably as they sleep during the day. We drove for 6 - 7 hours and thoroughly enjoyed the day, stopping at the various hides and places to buy food and drinks. If you are looking for a safari experience Pilanesburg Game Reserve is a great day out and much better than seeing these animals in a fake environment.

The vastness, the enormity, the beautifull stunning nature. The amount of animals, specially lions. We best liked the acommodation in tents, just in the middle of the bush,

Outstanding Safari!
5/5

We had the good fortune to have Bestday Safaris conduct our Safari. We visited the Ngorongoro Crater and then Serengeti National Park. Our driver was Six (I probably spelled this wrong) and he did an excellent job. He was very familiar with the areas we visited and was able to show us so much. He was knowledgeable about the wildlife and very informative. He was a good driver and we always felt safe. Over and above that he was a super person and we really enjoyed talking not only about the wildlife, but about life in Tanzania. We highly recommend Bestday Safaris Asante Sana Bob and Christina

It is a natural wonder, but we found that the wildlife was less overwhelming than in Serengeti and Tarangire. We spotted a rhino far away. But hey, we can tick the box of the Big 5. Certainly a wonder that you want to visit. But one day is enough.

Great Park, I sure need to come back
Overall rating

Only after a few meters that you have entered the park, you will stumble across elephants. There is no doubt about that. The park is huge and the 1,5 day we visited we only could cover a bit. It was out first game drive in Tanzania and within one day we spotted of course zebra's and gnoes, elephants and monkeys. But what about a wild dog eating of a dead gnoe near the road. Baby elephants near our car without the herd getting nervous. Several leopards in trees. Great lunch spots. Many people visit Tarangire Wildlife Park and it is more than worht it. The park is so big and that it will not feel over crowded. There are all sorts and sizes of accommodation so you can decide for your self what suits you best. The park is very versatile in its surroundings with open field, bush, rivers, savanne, hills etc. Definitely a place it would come again.

Best Private Air Tours in South Africa
5/5

William Cook of Cook's Air Tours & Safaris is one of the most knowledgeable pilot guides that Capture Africa Tours has had the pleasure of working with. William Cooks knowledge of South Africa whether it be the history of Cape Town, or life in the bush is incredible. You won't need guide books or maps when your're traveling with him. William is a very experienced pilot who can get you in and out of any area as long as the runway is certified and is long enough. This was the deal breaker for Capture Africa Tours. We needed to get in and out of different locations that are only accessible by light aircraft and Cooks Air Tours could accommodate us. William is a very easy going person and always ready to help whenever and wherever he can. Do not hesitate to use William and his company....you will not be disappointed.

Recommended tour operator
5/5

It all felt very professional and organized. We lost a flight connection and they rescheduled our tour promptly. Our guide Isaac was always motivated, respectful and with amazing eyes. Many times he brought us to places to see fantastic scenes and we were the first to arrive. He would wait sine minutes before letting other drivers know about it by radio :) It was suberb!
