You won't be sorry about booking a trip to Africa with Taga Safaris
5/5

We have used Taga Safaris 3 times now going back to 2004 when Mark helped plan a trip of a lifetime for our Silver wedding anniversary. He was so helpful that we used his service again in 2010 and 2012 and we also got a discount off some of the lodges we stayed at. It is so easy to do everything for your trip through Taga and it has a much more personal service than some of these bigger companies.
We really recommend using Taga Safaris and will do so again on our next visit to Africa. Thanks Mark, you do a wonderful job!

Great birding trip to Uganda
5/5

Deo drove us hundreds of miles and with his and Robert's expert bird finding skills we clocked around 480 species and saw all the main mammals as well - including the fantastic Biwindi gorillas. Communications, food and accommodation were all excellent and, overall, I was thoroughly impressed. Would strongly recommend this company.

Great individual Kilimanjaro tour + 1 day Safari (Ngorongoro)
5/5

We booked a very individual tour on mountain Kilimanjaro. We decided for the lemosho route and reached the summit! :-) Our two guides were very experienced and we had much fun with them and they with us. The big advantage of a small group tour is, that we could align the starting time and the pace for every day. So it was also possible to add acclimatisation walks in the afternoons. Food was delicious and we wondered how our cook could provide us with such tasty and various food over the whole tour. Also the whole team was very friendly and obliging.
After the kilimanjaro tour we added 1 day safari at Ngorongoro crater, also a individual tour for us.
Andrew - the boss of the travel-agency - was very flexible in arranging our whole kili tour and safari including all needed transfers, hotel accommodations, etc. Especially the way back to the airport early morning at 3 a.m. was organized by Andrew quasi overnight. Thanks a lot for that again!

We could highly recommend this local agency.

Uganda 2 week Birding and Mammal Tour January 2014
5/5

Hi my name is Peter Saunders from Nottingham England--we booked this birding holiday a year in advance with Deo. The participants were Peter and Lorraine Saunders, Jonny Price and Will Price.
From the time we initially committed to the holiday Deo (Uganda Eco Tours) kept us upadte with news and answered any queries etc very quickly!
As for the tour the combination of Deo and Robert Nuwagaba made for a brilliant and facinating experience. Both brilliant birders knowing all the bird calls and habitats with an amazing gift a actually location the birds. Deo has a great mindset for detail and orginisation with the trip running without any significant problems. In 2 weeks we saw 470 species of birds and lots of mammals including Shoebill, Green-breasted Pitta, Finfoot (which was unexpected), Chimpanzee and Gorilla (amazing experience) and lots lots more. The accommodation and food were excellent with wonderful views from most places. I would strongly recommend the service of Deo if you are planning a trip to Uganda-Deo and Robert are really nice people with a great knowledge of the wildlife of Uganda. They both have a good sense of humor, very polite and look after their participants very well!
Thank you both for a great trip one we will never forget!
Good birding Pete Saunders

Holiday was AMAZING. Everything we had hoped for.
5/5

Right from our first enquiry they couldn't do enough to make sure we had the holiday we wanted , within our price range. Even when we had to add another traveller , and then remove her again it was all done without fuss.

Great trip to Hluhluwe-iMfolozi
5/5

We had a great 4 days trip to Hluhluwe-iMfolozi and Saint Lucia. Endless Summer was very helpful and perfectly honnest from the planning to the end of the trip. Accomodations and meals were very good and all activities were worth it, except for the night drive (or maybe we were just unlucky then). Rhys is a knowledgable guide, a very dedicated professional and the nicest person, and he really worked hard to make our trip unforgettable. Thansk to him and Endless summer for the memories, and hope to be back soon! Rachel & Leo-

A totally enjoyable trip around South Africa
5/5

The fact that only 4 of us were travelling around South Africa with Crusty (our tour leader) made it a very special experience as we all became firm friends by the end of it. We saw a lot of what South Africa has to offer with Kruger national park being the highlight for me , the wildlife we saw there was just amazing. All the accommodation was of a high standard and the vehicle we travelled in always clean and comfortable. It truly got Africa into my blood and I couldn't wait to visit again. I totally recommend Compass Odyssey to anyone interested in a very personal and enjoyable African safari. The service was memorable and Crusty always managed to keep everyone happy.
