Great experience
I spent a lot of time learning about the parks and reading reviews. What I liked about Tanzania Roadside was Paul's flexibility when planning my trip. 7/6 nights. I switched on of the accommodations and added a 3rd night to Sarrenngeti at the upscale kuba kuba.
First off all accommodations were nice, with great service and generally felt the staff was amazing. Are guide had 5 years working with same company and shared knowledge some and looked up answers to our questions if required from his reference books. He was easy with a smile and never rattled even when he had to change the tire for 2nd time. He also stopped so we could gift kids soccer balls we brought and a unscheduled stop at local school to gift supplies.
We found are own way to Arusha and stayed at a simple hotel for night. Paul and Ezekiel arrived as scheduled for pick up. We went over trip and were on our way. 1st stop Tarangire.
Next day lake Manyara by back way. Then 2 nights at Kati kati Sarrenngeti and a 3rd in Kuba Kuba last night at Rhino camp that was cozy in its own way. Last day we did Ngorongoro crater before heading back to Arush last day.
I think we got good bang for our bucks and were able to see every thing including big five. Money transfer was easy. This company is all local people, not a international business. I gave it 4.5 stars

Safari Adventure
This was our first safari so I did not know what to expect. The Holiday turned out to be more of an adventure and it was thoroughly enjoyable. We took the 7 day begin / end at Nairobi option.
2 nights at the Amboseli park, Great intro and lots of elephants
One night by Lake Naivasha (great boat trip and walking safari - animals very tame so you get close up),
one night at Lake Nakura (visiting Hells Gate for a bike safari - great, and a canyon scramble - also much fun)
2 nights in the Mara - excellent
Patricia from Natural World was very helpful and quickly responded to my questions. Our driver / guide Hussein was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful.
We elected to take the luxury accommodation options and they worked out well. See separate reviews of each camp / lodge.
The itinerary was quite challenging but we did manage to fit it all in. Driving (as a passenger) in Kenya is quite an experience and there are a lot of lorries on the road so it can take some time to get from A to B. If you have the cash think about some internal flights. Having said that the car journeys do give you more of an insight into the country as you can see all of the hustle and bustle of road side trading, shops, motorcycle taxis, the farming and geography of the place.
Once in the parks it’s a different story.
The land Cruiser vehicles are actually a modified Land Cruiser pick up with a modified back end of various lengths depending on how many seats are fitted. We were in a 9-seater version and there were only 2 of us so plenty of space. The roof lifts up giving you a 360 degree view once standing and some sun shade also.
I was surprised how close you can get to the animals and seeing them close up is really special.
We were lucky to get views of Kilimanjaro on both days we were at the Amboselli Park and saw a lot of elephants.
We both ate like horses and expected to pile on a lot of weight but were pleasantly surprised when stepping on the scales back home. You do spend quite a lot of time on your feet looking at the animals and all of the fresh air whizzing past drives a healthy appetite !
I had travelled a lot in the past so I was too relaxed about my jabs and found out a bit late that I needed a Yellow Fever jab so check that out early and get them done ahead of your visit.
We did encounter a few other groups with young children and It looked like hard work. I have 3 kids, all grown up now, but to watch the animals you need to be patient and watch quietly. So think carefully about a family trip and how to make the most of it.
As for cost i thought it was good value for money. All you pay on top is your flights, hotels at Nairobi, your bar bill and tips.
Overall a great holiday adventure - already thinking about another safari next year. I would definitely recommend Natural World Safaris.

Awesome 6Day Masai-Naku-Amboseli safari experience on a budget
Susan organized everthing for us and was quick to respond to our queries. It was my second time in Miti Mingi ecocamp and was happy with the renovations done on the tents/rooms. It is now way better than it was last September 2018. At Kimana camp, we stayed at newly built room too. The rooms now look better than what you'd see on pictures posted on Tripadvisor. We managed to see white rhinos in Nakuru but a baboon got inside our van and took a small bag full of snacks. From a group of 7 people in Masai, only 2 of us proceeded to Nakuru and was joined by another guest. On the way to Amboseli, there were just 2 of us + Anton, our guide. Anton was a great guide. In Amboseli, we got clear skies on the last day and was lucky to see mighty Mt. Kilimanjaro. So satistied with the overall experience and service from Sunstrip Safaris.

Great adventure!
I highly recommend CATS Africa tours. We had a super fun, well organized safari tour. The transportation was comfortable, our tour guide Duncan was super nice, available and kept us safe at all times. The lodge was also very nice and welcoming, with great food and service. Communication with the organizer Joyce Njeri was always clear with fast replies. We loved the experience and felt like they took really good care of us. Thanks a lot!

An amazing 5 days safari with an excellent guide.
An excellent 5 day experience with no bad surprises. Our guide, John, did everything to satisfy us. He was caring, punctual, informative, knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. We took more than 2000 pictures and videos from almost all the animals we could imagine. We drove to extreme places to meet the big fives, the small fives, the ugly fives or any fives. We are very happy having this journey as a positive experience. Thanks Right Choice Team and John. It was really wonderful. We strongly recommend it to everybody.

Wonderful adventure!!
Highly recommend this tour company. Gerry was a fantastic guide for our private 11-day tour ; very knowledgeable about the history of the country and very eager to be sure we were taken care of and that we had a great experience. Sheilagh was very thorough in setting up all of our accommodations and reservations and sending us a detailed itinerary along with contact info prior to our arrival. The 2 highlights of the tour were Kruger and Cape Town. In Kruger, we were fortunate to see almost all of the animals in their natural habitats: leopard, elephants, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, hippos, baboons, buffalo, wildebeest, hyenas, water bucks. Cape Town is the most beautiful city I have every visited: 360 degree views of mountains and coastline; the penguins; botanical gardens. Blyde River Canyon was also spectacular. Take a good camera with a good zoom lens. Can't say enough...this company is trustworthy and eager to be sure you have a memorable trip. And we loved that it was a private tour with just the 5 of us in a van and not in a big tour bus with 20-40 other people. All the accommodations were very nice and clean with good breakfasts included.
Pamoja Tours and Oyer Charles are the absolute BEST!!!
Went to Uganda to view the mountain gorillas. What we experienced was so much more. Our tour guide, Charles showed us the best of Uganda and shared his experiences and life with us which made the trip more interesting and personal. He went above and beyond to give us a complete African experience and when we wanted to see something particular, he wouldn't give up until we found it. Not only did we we get to see an abundance of animals, we got to visit local life and meet people in his home village. Our personal experience with Charles has enriched our life and we will forever be connected to him. His compassion for his country and his home village is extraordinary and ayone who travels with him will be forever changed in a most positive way.

Gorilla tracking in West Uganda
Ronald organised a fabulous 4 day whistlestop tour of west Uganda for me. He was super prompt replying to any email, and outlines various options for me to choose from. The gorilla trekking was of course a highlight, only topped off by being rugby-tackled to the ground by a baby gorilla which was amazing. Although Ronald didn't accompany me on the tour, he organised for Grace (one of Uganda's very few female tourist guides) to escort me around. Grace was a fount of knowledge and some very amusing stories. Thanks to Grace I sampled the local matoke (mashed up banana) which was far more tasty than I would have thought. She also tackled the Uganda roads with ease which is no mean feat. Many thanks to both Ronald and Grace. I look forward to my next trip!
