An Excellent Family Safari !!!
5/5

Christmas in Tanzania resulted in a trip of a lifetime. Fifteen family members were able to experience a wild life safari of their dreams. Ages 6 to 70 years, enjoyed viewing the hordes of animals up close for ten days in a variety of surroundings. Brian's attention to details was wonderful : a Maiisi Santa serving champange on Christmas morning, breakfasts on the "trail" , stories for the children aound a campfire in the wilds, and always an appreciation of the area and the birds and animals. The meals served in the wilds were excellent , tents were very comfortable and lodges were "first class". Brian and his guides/drivers , Jarad and Francis, were most helpful and catered to our every need or suggestion. At no time did we feel unsafe , in the city or on the trail . We loved our safari . We are ready to go again !!

A never to forget experience that will always be etch in memory
5/5

Incredible knowledge about the environment. Delivery of service was extraordinary and exceeded my expectations. The safari tour was more than one could have dreamed of with every need and expectation met, right down to every meal served. And the little touches like the blankets, early morning and late afternoon game drive snacks. Every detail was thought threw for comfort and enjoyment. I loved the spoiling in the bush.

Best Private Safari in South Africa!
5/5

My family and I spent 5 nights with Shaun on safari and have to say that we thoroughly enjoyed it... His knowledge of the attractions was good, but his wildlife knowledge is first class! My family and I learned so much about the small things that we never knew to even look for and we have been self driving inside Kruger for years... I can recommend his services to international and local travelers alike, all in all worth every penny

Again, again and again Taga Safaris Africa!
5/5

I cannot even remember the number of safaris we did with Taga Safaris Africa’s Mark and Celeste. Isn’t that the best review a tour operator can receive? We have been several times to South-Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, and this year my wife and I plan another trip to Namibia. Of course with the help of these great guys. Mark as well as Celeste were always so helpful and dedicated and personally involved in our trips. They even joined us during a trip in the Sabi Sands. If you go for a safari, go for Taga!

Kanuth Safari Adventure
5/5

Prompt, courteous, informative, and an all around great person. I began my travel plans with Kanuth from the United States over e-mail. I booked a trip from Dar to Mikumi. Kanuth was so helpful and reassuring throughout the entire process. I cant say enough about how wonderful the trip was, and how professional Kanuth is. Thank you for some of the most memorable memories of my life!

Mikumi
5/5

We made a safari after a beach holiday in Zanzibar. We contacted kanuth on the phone and arranged three days really beautiful in Mikumi NP.
Kanuth was very professional and guided us in the park in his best moments. Do not underestimate the great views that has allowed us to find a pack of 10 with 2 small lions.
Really highly recommended.

First Class Service
5/5

I have travelled through many African countries since the 1970s. Since my first visit to Tanzania in 1999 I have adopted this country as my favorite place world wide. I have written a number of articles about the amazingly beautiful scenery in Tanzania, its wonderful people and culture, and its fantastic wildlife. Since 2003, after my first safari with Kanuth, I have never used any other Tour Operator during my many visits to Tanzania.

Experience of a lifetime!
5/5

We just completed a 5-days safari where we went to Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater. Mike, who organized the trip, was very good at communicating with us and the choice of itinerary & accommodation was perfectly tailored to our request.

Our guide was Elias and our cook was Gabriel, and we couldn't be happier with our experience! They did an outstanding job of making sure that we were satisfied, comfortable, and safe. Our journey had some setbacks - our camp got flooded after a storm, and our wheel broke on the rough roads of Serengeti - but in both cases they acted very quickly and effectively to arrange us an alternative accommodation or transportation. Not everyone in a similar situation was as lucky…

The food prepared by Gabriel was amazing (and perfectly ‘digestible’ even for a sensitive European stomach)! We also spent one day with Merinyo - both he and Elias were excellent guides, fun and providing lots of information. We saw a full spectrum of African animals ranging from lizards to leopards (in addition to many many lions…) and our car was well networked with other ones so we never missed out when something important was going on.

Thanks to Mike, Elias, Gabriel and Merinyo, our safari adventure was experience of a lifetime!

Asante Sana,

Nicole, Naomi, Catia (from Canada) and Peter (from Slovakia)

We have been on 3 safaris to Mikumi managed by Kanuth Adventures and have been thoroughly pleased with planning, communications, hotel choices, driving safety and the knowledge of each guide. We look forward to more great safari adventures with them.

Great experience!
5/5

I had a wonderful time with Nature Travel Namibia!

August 2013, 2 people. After a start in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, I was looking for someone organizing the transfer to Caprivi region of Namibia. The idea was first to explore Caprivi, then go to Etosha and “normal” touristic route. It happened that the only company based in Katima Mulilo (the biggest city in Caprivi, near the border with Botswana) was Tutwa/Nature Travel Namibia (NTN). So I tried with them. And I was not disappointed at all!

Nick Buys, from NTN, first organized me the private transfer. Then he explained me that visiting the Caprivi parks self-driving was not the best choice (Caprivi is not Etosha!) and he offered me his services. Since I’m a keen birdwatcher and fauna-lover, I was intrigued by the fact that Nick was a birdwatcher himself. So I fixed 5 days with him in Caprivi, Katima to Rundu.

It was a marvellous experience. The organization was perfect – the experience and knowledge of Nick was the real bonus of our trip. He knew everything – the best lodges near the parks, the best spots in the parks (we visited Nkasa Rupara, Bwabwata, Mahango, Mudumu), the best areas to do birdwatching, the best boat excursions to see wildlife. You have to trust someone, in a region like Caprivi with so little infrastructure and so little possibility to go by yourself – and Nick is the right person to trust. Birdwatching speaking, he was great – he managed to spot lots of Okawango specialities, including Lesser Jacana, White-backed Night Heron, Luapula Cisticola and many more!

I want to underline a point. Taking a private tour with a private guide is quite expensive. But it’s the only way to explore Caprivi – without a guide, you could not spot a single elephant. Yes, you can take the game drives organized by the lodges, but to have a personal guide with you, ready to explain everything about the life in the bush, is a real privilege. Also, Nick is fond of camping – we spent a wonderful night bush-camping in Nkasa Rupara, we’ll remember it for a longtime. We had a great time together.

I would recommend NTN to anyone travelling to Caprivi and to Namibia. Nick also knows Etosha really well, he gave us a lots of suggestions about the best waterholes to see animals – and he was right (we were on our own there). So if you want to see animals during your trip to Namibia, NTN is the right company. And I’m sure that also in Botswana and Zambia he knows how to organize the perfect trip.
