One Day Camping trip in Ruaha N. Park
Just like its name, Wildgaze Safaris, gave us an amazing camping trip in Ruaha National Park.
We had a great time enjoying the richness of the Park, from exploring the beautiful scenery to the big elephants.
Thank you Wildgaze!

Seven by Far takes care of your every need
When on a Safari, there’s few characteristics that might differentiate one company from the other, because, at the end, your at the mercy of the animals/nature. What sets Seven by Far apart is their ability to take care of everything and make you feel safe, which removes the stress away from traveling and lets you focus on the actual experience. An incredible trip.

Good Earth Tours and Safari MADE our trip the Best EVER!!
There are NOT enough Good words to say about Good Earth! From our first phone call (Baraka), the excellent, immediate follow up to the Incredible, Beautiful, comfortable lodges with Great food and last, but not least, our Wonderful Guide, Gerald L! We know there is a ton of planning behind the scenes and we were very thankful but being with Gerald, every day, just MADE our trip what it was. His expertise on everything was over the top from every animal, bird, history of the crater, the serengeti and just all of Africa and he Enjoyed teaching us! Gerald's happy and sincere personality made us look forward to each and every day! Their "trucks" were very comfortable and Gerald made sure WE were comfortable and noticed everything we liked to eat and drink so he surprised us daily. On our return, we would not use anyone but Good Earth Tours and we are so grateful for the memories we will have the rest of our days, thanks to Gerald and the entire company!

Amasing experience
We were picked up at our hotel right on time.
Our driver/guide, Apollo, was a very knowing person. It´s a good match as we are curious. On the road to Mikumi we asked a lot about Tanzanias culture, history, nature, invironment, politics etc. - and we became much wiser.
At the gate to Mikumi there was a minor misunderstanding about the number og persons (two), but it got solved.
The safari was a great succes. We saw lots of wild animals including lion, hippo, crocodile and elephants. Again Apollo was excellent to spot the animals and to tell us about them.
On the way back to Dar es Salaam we were delayed by a major car accident. Bad luck, as we were catching the ferry to
Zanzibar. But we reached it just seconds before departure.
All in all it was a great experience that we wil be happy to recomend to anyone interested not only in nature and wildlife but also in history and politics.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
1 hour after leaving, the 4x4 broke down.. no front brakes! The driver tried to fix it just enough to keep going which meant driving in second gear for the entire journey. A 2 hour trip turned into a 5 hours trip which was just to the park entrance. The driver took the car to a mechanic after our game drive, which was limited to just 1.5 hrs due to our late arrival, but had no luck so we continued with no front brakes. On the way back, one of the doors almost fell off and the driver had to secure it using rubber strap. We had to stop every 40 minutes as something else went wrong (low oil pressure, refill leaking radiator). Eventually the car died and we continued our return in a taxi. We wasted another 5 hours getting back to our hotel. Ann from the agency agreed to compensate each customer USD 50 each, which amounted to USD 200 as we were 4. But as it was a Saturday and she had no cash and we were leaving Iringa, she agreed with the Mama Pizza Iringa Hotel, where we were staying, to deliver the $200 first thing Monday morning which would go towards our accommodation bill. This never happened, the hotel manager (Richard) called her and went to see her in the office but no money.. always offering another excuse. We tried to contact her but she refused to answer. Eventually we gave up and transferred the money to Richard so at least the hotel was not out of pocket. This company cannot be trusted and their service was absolutely terrible as was their unsafe vehicles. As for Ann and the way she managed this situations, she should be ashamed of herself. You can confirm this info with Richard at Mama Iringa Pizza Hotel.

Amazing safari from start to finish
The communication was great. This was my first time going on safari so I had many questions for Mathew and he always replied in a speedy yet detailed manor. In terms of the service on safari it was second to none and our guide peter was very helpful and friendly during the entire trip. We saw elephants on the way to our lodge before we even started the safari, and saw lions within 20 minutes of the safari starting. I never imagined that we would be able to get so close to the lions and this was all down to Mathew recommending good lodges with private areas where they can off-road from the beaten track. I will recommend Bateleur Eagle safaris to my friends and family.

Not recommendable. Don't go with them.
We had two safaris with them. Actually one is still running. The first was in Tansania. Besides humiliating toilets on campsites the tour was ok. Our driver Fred is really the best. Very nice, professional and funny. Our chef Abu is awesome aswell. Very humble friendly and a great chef. In total I think the price for a low budget safari (210$ per day p.P.) is to much. Besides they don't have so good jeeps. We had an accident and I scratched my head kind of badly. They didn't have a first aid kit, so I took some napkins to calm down the blood from my forehead.
Our second safari was/is a mess. Our first day was an eleven hour bus trip from Mombasa to Nairobi. We wanted to start our trip from Mombassa because the Zawo East is just around the corner. But no chance. The woman who managed everything (Ann) said it would only be a four hours drive... that was obviously a lie because it took us eleven. So no safari the first day. Of course we paid for the whole day including the food we didn't get. The accommodations are a mess aswell. No warm water, almost no wifi and the food is really bad. The last day of our trip is again just a 5 hours trip from Amboselli to Nairobi, so no safari again.
All in all, do yourself a favour and book with some other organisation.
