the experience in the park was great, we saw chimps on both treks.
3/5

As visitors, we had the experience of being bounced around from car to boat to park without anyone really telling us what was going on. The personal touch, that we have had with other tours was not present. We never met with Joshua and never felt like our business really mattered. With the exception of the last meal, which we bought ourselves, the itinerary was followed and we enjoyed our time with the chimps. I hope that future tours are less impersonal, otherwise I would recommend saving some money and doing this trip on your own.

Excellent private camping safari in Tanzania with African Heart
5/5

We wanted to use special-camp sites (nicely private but cost more and have to be reserved) for our Tanzania trip, to replicate a fantastic experience we had in Bostswana. All the TOs we contacted except African Heart discouraged us, pushing tented camps. I can now see why - this is a heck of alot easier for them (basically Motel 6s in the Serengeti). Peter Reijmes from African Heart accommodated our request and arranged a great trip - Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Lake Myanyara, and Tarangire, with a hotel stop before and after. Our guide Josephat and cook Barongo were excellent company. The trip was brief due to our time constraints but did not feel rushed, and we saw lots of wildlife in different environments, as we hoped. We skipped the Masaii visit but went to a weekly market when our tire was being fixed, which I highly recommend. Email communication was more like 48-72 hours rather then 24 but reliable. We wanted to be camping alone under the stars in Tanzania and African Heart helped us make it happen.

Great mini-safari designed specifically around wildlife viewing including birdwatching
5/5

The specially designed tour perfectly combined a chance to see mammals large and small (elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos, antelope, jackals, and more) with birdwatching. Our guide was helpful, knowledgeable about the area, friendly and patient with our requests to start early, stay out late, go to distant parts of the parks we visited, and to stop a lot for bird spotting! He was also a really good driver over rough terrain. The vehicle was clean and comfortable to spot wildlife from, and the lodge we stayed in was amazing.

Customized plans for individual choices
5/5

Have had 3 South African trips with Rhino Africa. Used the same agent (S. Myburgh) each time. Every trip thoughtfully planned to my requests. Able to secure requested ranger and tracker pair. Notified when exchange rates were favorable to make final payment. Questions/requests quickly attended to via email. CC payment on line. This is a superb company.

5/5

The communication with our guide was super. The picking up evrywhere was without delay, the service in the car was excellent, the property of the car was great. It was convenient. We didn´t exspect so much service and friendlyness and were positiv surprised.
The safari was great. Our driver was engaged to show us all animals and we even saw the baby lions.
It couldn´t be better.

Superb safari and well organised
5/5

Our trip was arranged by Carel Verhoef at discoverafrica.com and was perfectly organised. We flew into the Masai Mara from Nairobi and all flight connections and transfers were arranged for us and went like clockwork. Carel was also very generous with his advice having lived in East Africa for some years – he is a mine of useful information.

My wife and I have had this trip to see the wildebeest migration on our bucket list for some time and we decided to go this year to coincide with our wedding anniversary. For that reason we were looking for something special yet reasonably priced and Carel helped us find Mara Ngenche. What a spectacularly good choice that was.

We stayed for 5 nights the camp and were extremely well looked after. The staff are fantastic. Our waiter, Steve, learnt what food we liked and didn’t like and was always on hand with a glass of wine and also taught us some Swahili! The Masai guards who escorted us to & from our tent especially Musanga, Karbolo & Lindeni were always on hand, very polite and interesting. Almost everyone speaks excellent English.

The game drive vehicle that we used was completely open at the top and sides and was very comfortable. We had some fabulous sightings with Joseph, our very experienced driver/guide. He was excellent at anticipating the animal’s movements to ensure good photos. In one afternoon we saw the Big 5 and on another occasion 4½, as we could only see the leopard’s tail that time.

The position of the camp on the confluence of two rivers was so relaxing and we often sat on the deck watching the 30 or so hippos all day, even though they didn’t move very much. Breakfasts and lunches were served under the trees beside the river. Dinner, served in the restaurant, was four courses and was beautifully prepared and presented.

Overall, it was a fantastic trip and the staff at Mara Ngenche made it more than special. When it came time to leave, my wife cried because she didn’t want to go. Of all the holidays we’ve had over the years, this has been our most memorable.

A great 6 day safari to Tanzania
5/5

We just completed a 6 day small group departure. our driver Goodluck was very good and the accommodation throughout the Safari was good quality. We saw all the big 5 and the best moment was to see a family of cheetah in Seronera. Good advise and support from safarihub.

The Best Trip I've Ever Taken in Tanzania
5/5

My safari with Tanzania Safari Land was the best trip I've ever taken in my life, and I've traveled a lot. Emma and his team helped us every step of the way. We changed our itinerary multiple times and the team made that very easy for us to do, allowing us to customize the trip to our liking.

Tanzania Safari Land was focused and professional from the moment we landed. They were waiting for us on time and made me feel extremely comfortable in an unfamiliar culture.

Our safaris were amazing. We saw everything we wanted to see and the guides allowed us to stay and watch certain groups of animals for however short or long of a time period we wanted. They made the long drives fun and taught us about the land, animals and language.

Our accommodations far exceeded my expectations. We stayed in lodges that made us feel like we were part of the culture, rather than busy hotels.
I always felt safe and taken care of.
I would not hesitate to take another trip with Tanzania Safari Land.

Amazing experience, highly recommended company
5/5

I was looking for a safari that was not camping every night but not luxury either - something that was in-between and wouldn't blow my budget. I also wanted to travel with people more my age 45+. The Safari Co offered all of this. On my trip there were 14 people ranging in age from 74 to 47. We travelled in an overland truck which was very comfortable, roll up PVC sides that gave us fantastic views and plenty of fresh air, the suspension was really good and the truck could travel at a decent speed. I loved the seat up above the drivers cab - 360 degree views and we could sit up here anytime, not just for game-driving. Each night we had a variety of accommodation ranging from basic lodges and cabins, the odd night bush camping, and the odd night in luxury so it was a nice mix and something to look forward to every day. The food really was amazing - what the cook could conjure up from a simple camp kitchen was tasty, healthy, fresh and plentiful. Andy Kibby is a true professional when it comes to running his safaris. He has tons of experience and this showed through time and time again with his knowledge of wildlife, local cultures, politics, history, and the ability to make everyone feel totally at ease. Andy's driving skills are also worth a mention - where he took us in that truck was at times astounding but we always felt totally safe with him behind the wheel. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Tanzania Safari Land to anyone with a sense of adventure looking for a boutique company who will really look after them and make sure their African experience is truly memorable.

Loth and Ephata were very helpful, knowledgeable, and took very good care of us.
5/5

The safari was better than we could have possibly imagined. Our accommodations were first class and Loth and Ephata could not have done enough for us, in other words, their service to us was superb. They always knew where to find the animals we wanted to see. We would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to go on safari in Tanzania.
