Bateleur Eagles were absolutely incredible. Their patience, organisation and knowledge is the best.
5/5

We were originally meant to do our safari holiday with another company, but due to some unforeseen circumstances we had to change companies 4 days into our 21 day trip. Our previous guide, Peku, highly recommended Bateleur Eagles, who he had worked with before.

Right from the start, Newton and Matthew (the owners of the company) were incredibly helpful, attentive and efficient. They managed to plan a complete itinerary for the next 2 weeks of our trip in less than 36 hours, and patiently waited with us for 7 hours on their weekend when we had technical difficulties. During this time we got to see some amazing photos that Matthew had taken at game parks, and they answered every question we had. The next day when our new itinerary began, they even came with us to the Kenya-Tanzania border (a 6 hour round trip for them!) to make sure that we were comfortable and assured.

The accomodation that they arranged for us was incredible (especially at last minute in peak season) and they checked up on us every step of the way to make sure things were going great. We did have some very small hiccups along the way that were in no way their doing, but they still did everything in their power to fix them - and at any hour of the day, too. You can tell that they both have a passion for what they do and genuinely want their clients to have the best holiday possible.

We also have to include a bit here about Peku (or Sammy), who was also our guide with the original tour group that we changed from. He was so good that we insisted on having him as our guide again (for the Kenya portion of our trip) with Bateleur Eagles. When things went downhill with the previous company, Peku was always honest and upfront with us and did everything he could to make things go smoothly. When that other company left us stranded 3 hours out of Nairobi, he immediately arranged for his brother to drive 6 hours to pick us up and take us back to the city. He was definitely our hero for the trip and without him we probably would have just flown home early - I’m glad we stayed and put our trust in him and Bateleur Eagles. Peku is such an incredibly compassionate and capable person, you’re really missing out if you don’t have him as your guide. I know we’ll see him again when we go back!

At the end of our trip when we were back in Nairobi, we caught up with them and were able to give our feedback. We really appreciated having this time to talk to them as I’m sure they take on their clients’ responses and use it to continually grow as a company. Without a doubt we will be back in Kenya and will use Bateleur Eagle Safaris again. I’d recommend them to anyone wanting a tailored, trustworthy, professional and welcoming service.

To Newton & Matthew - thank you so much! We will definitely be seeing you again (maybe we will climb Kilimanjaro with Newton next time) and I hope you can come visit us in Australia one day!

Amazing Safaris!
5/5

We did an 11 days Safari, visiting 5 national parks and the rhinos sanctuary, Murchison Falls, Kibale (Chimps), Queen Elizabeth, Mgahinga (gorillas) and finally Lake Mburo.
Eddie, our guide & driver was always kind and tried to do the best for a great stay at Uganda, even some changes during the trip, and Jolie, our tour consultant, was very patient with our requests and changes. Achieve Global is a good choice!!
After the trip, If I had to repeat the only thing I would do differently is 4 national parks in 11 days, losing Lake Mburo.
And of course, the Gorillas is a MUST!

African Safari Dream Come True With Seth Vincent
5/5

Hi
I just returned to California from 13 days African Safaris in Kenya and Tanazania including Zanzibar.
I spent August 2019 in Africa and a week in Germany on my way back to the US.
I had a dream vacation.
I was picked from Nairobi airport by Eric, a kind fluent English speaking guide and was brought to the fanciest
hotel you can imagine namely Sarova Stanley where I met Seth.
Seth is the organizer who arranges different guides for different activities and countries.
Eric was with me in Nairobi for the elephant rescue center, giraffe center and Tribes of Africa experience.
Another Guide, intelligent, fluent English speaking and kind by the name Morris drove me to dream places
including Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara and Lake Naviasha.
Upon crossing to the Tanzanian border I was picked by Sam Biagga. I enjoyed the company of a college educated,
kind hearted guide who even invited me for dinner at his house in Arusha Tanzania. Sam took me through the Seregenti
to Lake Maynara and to Arusha. Every question about wildlife was answered with thorough knowledge.
The selection of places and activities was excellent. I saw the Big 5 , wildebeest migration and much more.
In each border crossing and each airport the guides were waiting for me upon arrival.
Seth was monitoring each step of my trip and talked to me through whatsapp routinely to make sure everything is allright.
All the lodges and hotels were of top quality. Even in the middle of the Seregenti, surrounded by baboons and hyenas, the
lodge had electricity and wifi as Seth promised as I needed electricity for my CPAP breathing machine.
Each advice that Seth gave me came true: I went to Kruger in South Africa to see another safari. Though I do not regret visiting
South Africa and Kruger is an experience by itself, yet like Seth told me you can see all the wild life you desire in Kenya/Tanzania
and there is no need to go to South Africa.
Seth told me in Nairobi how much cash to prepare for tips and casuals. I did not listen and ended up wasting time on unnecessary trips to ATMs.
In my view Seth can arrange a dream safari/vacation for you for your money. He knows the travel business inside out. He knows to hire/contract the highest quality tour guides. He cares about you.

Before my trip people asked me in California: "What you are not afraid to go to Africa by yourself?"
Now Africa is big, but in Kenya and Tanzania you will enjoy hospitality, English speaking population and you are in countries
that respect tourism as it is so crucial to their economies.
Also if you are afraid that you will wire money to an operator on SafariBookings and you will become a victim to a scam, it
is very unlikely to happen. My Tanzanian guide explained to me that operators who appear on safaribookings are tightly licensed and
regulated by the governments of Tanzania and Kenya.

To conclude: Trust Seth Vincent and you will have a great vacation

Safe Travels

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!
5/5

Safari with Mega Adventures was a UNIQUE experience.
We organized the trip with Mohamed (by email) who always showed his willingness and attention to any request made to him, with answers that were always quick and satisfying.
Once we landed at the Kilimanjaro airport we found a great guide waiting for us: Mubarak!
We were really satisfied. We did 8 full days safari with him, time run very fast. He has always been available and attentive to our needs, taking care of our comfort on the jeep, which however was very well equipped with:
-sunscreen
-repellent for insects
- hands disinfectant gel
- wet wipes
-binoculars.
He was also a reliable driver and a very prepared guide, explaining a lot of things about animals, savannah and the Masai culture.
everything was BELLISSIMOOO!!!
Grazie MegaAdventures

Superb Safari Tour!
5/5

What a trip of a lifetime this was! We’ve been on the 9 Day Uganda Adventure tour and I cannot praise it enough! We had the best of accommodations, the food was delicious everywhere we went and every day was a different adventure in itself. We got to see the chimpanzees and gorillas from up close in their natural habitat, of course and been on amazing safaris that made us get a true taste of Africa and Uganda in particular. Many thanks to Anthony for the great organization of the tour and for his availability and swiftness in replying to my inquiries! Not the least, special shout out to Chris (one of the best guides I’ve met so far) – excellent driver, super accommodating with our requests, knowledgeable and responsible at all times. I highly recommend this tour and Chris most of all!

Urbema Safaris a Scam-Avoid
1/5

Urbema Safaris are a scam. When I arrived in Nairobi, I arranged a safari and made payment ($1100.00), only to be told by the shady owner Benard Orero that the lodge was full. It is over three weeks later, with multiple conversations with Benard Orero, and no refund. I’m having to file a criminal complaint with Kenyan National Police and charge it back through the bank. Avoid Urbema Safaris and Benard Orero at all costs.

Fabulous 14 days!!! Wildlife! Birds! Culture! Great accomodations!! Amazing staff and guide/driver!!
5/5

My adult son and I spent 14 days driving through Uganda, from Kampala, Jinji, Sipi Falls, Kedepo, Murchinson Falls, Queen Elizabeth and finally the gorillas in Biwindi, with our amazing guide/driver: Geoffrey Katende. Every part of the trip was planned by Pascqa Lorna in the Matoke office and every part was amazing. I cannot say enough about Geoffrey who both is extremely knowlegable about wildlife, birds, geography, land marks, and culture, but is a very patient and sweet person. Geoffrey really cared about us and tried his hardest to make sure we had a great experience. It was often Geoffrey who wanted to continue to drive around the parks or see more sights, and we would have to say that we wanted to go back to the lodge to rest. He is very enthusiastic and is excited about every aspect of Uganda even though he has probably seen everything many times. Geoffrey is also a very safe driver which is important in Uganda and he never tired even after hours of bumpy roads, he never got rattled and he always got us where we were going safely and without drama. I had total faith in him to be safe and professional.
Pascqa Lorna was also amazing. She planned everything and worked very hard to make sure we did everything we wanted to do. During the planning phrase she emailed me faithfully and quickly and she was available while we were in Uganda and helped me with problems even when she did not have to. She also really cared that we had a great experience, it was much more than just doing her job. The lodges we stayed in were uniformly very nice and were picked by Pascqa and the activities we did were very fun and rewarding. Also because it was just the two of us, we were able to do things we had not planned sometimes and Geoffrey was always willing to change plans and do whatever we wanted to do.
I would definitely recommend Matoke to anyone traveling to this part of the world, and if I am lucky enough to return to East Africa, I will use them again.

My experience with Kibokoland was just magic as it was far beyond my expectations.
5/5

From the very beginning my experience with Kibokoland was far beyond excellent, as people at Kibokoland were on point as to every aspect of the adventure. Once on the ground, thanks to Kibokoland's know how and professionalism, my safari was an unforgettable experience.
