A safari with a difference in Tanzania
A safari with a difference is what we experienced with our guide/company owner, Brian Mengoriki of Ecological Wilderness Adventures.
I organised our safari online directly with Brian and his staff and I couldn't speak highly enough of their attention to detail and the prompt and efficient service provided during our dealing over the internet.
Nothing was ever too much for Brian, as we visited numerous reserves and parks in our quest to source wildlife. We saw every animal we had hoped to see along with 100's of birds.
Our time hunting with bushmen, joining a blacksmith along with his numerous wives and children - all added to this unique safari.
The varied accommodation was fantastic allowing us to experience all aspects of a memorable holiday - tree-top lodges, tented camps to luxurious lodges - it was great.
We will always remember our camp in the Serengetti sitting by a huge camp fire at night watching the stars, listening to the wildlife and chatting the hours away.
We couldn't speak highly enough of Brian Mengoriki and his staff at Ecological Wilderness Adventures who contributed to our most memorable & enjoyable African experience.
We can't wait to go back and revisit Tanzania.
Thanks you Brian and Ecological Wilderness Adventures for providing a safari we still talk about and revisit with family & friends.

Amazing big-five safari with close encounter of all of the big five animals.
Our trip to Idube Game Reserve was the best nature experience of our life. We came close to all big five animals: Buffalos, Elephants, Rhinos, Leopards and Lions. Male and female lions with cubs, Leopards with impala kill in threes, big buffalo herds, elephants few meters from our vehicle and many rhinos (one with a calve). Besides the big five animals we saw crocodiles up close (on foot), hippos, giraffes fighting, Wild dogs trying to steal a leopard kill and much much more.
The vegetation was very dry due to the time of the year and the weather was cold in the morning but very nice during most of the day; not too warm. Our guides handed out warm blankets and hot-water bags to keep warm in the morning. The ranger and tracker were very kind and you could feel that they wanted to give us the best experience possible. They answered all questions perfectly and were good to ask us what we wanted to see. We stayed at the Idube Game Lodge which had all we could have hoped for: Nice people, good food, luxury chalets. Animals such as Nyalas and warthogs walked freely inside the lodge which made the atmosphere inside the lodge just perfect.
This was a trip we will never forget and we hope to come back more than once!

Review about South Africa by Mads Fredslund Andersen
The wildlife was better than we hoped for and we had close encounters with almost all the animals we had set up to see. The diversity of the landscape was beautiful. We went to the Drakens Mountains were we drove around in rain forest, different fruit plantations and big water falls one day and the next we looked at wild animals in a national park. The only thing missing on our trip was animals on a large savannah with few bushed and threes.

A Magical Time to Remember
UNIGLOBE Let's Go Travel came on as our official partner for the Ecotourism and Sustainable Tourism Conference. Working with them was an absolute pleasure. They bent over backwards to help our attendees and our staff to make our conference a success. Everyone who went on outing only had great things to say.
I myself had the opportunity to go on a couple adventures through LGT. First, our amazing driver Peter took us on an adventure to Nairobi National Park. He is very knowledgeable about the area, the history, and the flora and fauna of Kenya. Then a bit later we were able to visit Laikipia by staying at the Portini Rhino Camp. Everything was perfect. I loved the camp, I loved the wind blowing through my hair on safari. I loved learning about the Maasi culture and I loved how easy LGT made it to have an amazing time. Next time I go to Kenya, there would be no question, I would definitely travel through them again!

Fantastic experience, well organised and with a tour operator who understood our needs.
Communications were very good, the hire car just what we needed and the wildlife more than lived up to our expectations.

Superb experiences of East Africa, secure travel and a wonderful, informative guide who has passion!
I travelled to Tanzania earlier this year, in the hope of really experiencing an authentic journey through this part of East Africa and with the help of Asili Explorer and it's head guide Joseph, I really left feeling totally satisfied I had-as well as not wanting to leave! It is important to note, I travelled as a lone tourist this time around, so issues of security and understanding everything around me was being taken care of well was paramount and with Asili this was every bit the case.
After viewing his informative website and choosing which excursion and safari I wanted, I did really feel he was catering it just for me and really listening to what I wanted to get out of my journey, rather than just providing a 'brand' package without much consultation. Asili is expertly run and their spacious and hand-wearing transportation, camping equipment and lodges he advises on, were to me personally, of a really good quality and I think would also be more than adequate for larger groups/families too. My trip around the Serengeti/National parks gave me such a unique experience and travelling with Joseph meant I got all his first hand knowledge on the wildlife (Lions and Wildebeest migration) and spectacular views, along with some very interesting immersion into the life of the local tribes....namely the famous Maasai Pastoralists and Hadzabe people! Asili is approachable, amusing and always got back to my queries prior to travel swiftly and answered all questions well.
The price ranges for the various packages were also very reasonable to me as it is easy to get very confused with all the competing tour companies out there but Asili did stand out to me as one of the most cost effective on a limited budget.
I always felt at ease and being new to travelling and as a lone female, I felt content and safe at all times, even in Arusha whilst not on the road. So a big 'Asante Sana' to Asili and Joseph, you created some really lovely and ingrained memories for me and I definitely hope to use your services again!

Six Star Safari
Four of us arrived in Windhoek feeling a little apprehensive about spending the next four weeks in a vehicle with an unknown person having only spoken on the phone with Pieter. It did not take long for those feelings to disappear.
Pieter had organised our tour around Namibia, arranging stunning accommodation of all sorts from basic overnight camping to resort luxury and everything in between.
Namibia is a large and diverse country so there were some long days on the road. However, as a guide Pieter is quite extraordinary - his knowledge of flora and fauna, geography, politics and economics is awesome. He seems to know everyone in Namibia at all levels. We were never bored.
Pieter would always go the extra mile to show you something of interest or to find the best places for spotting animals.
Our time in Namibia is at the top of our best experiences.
We were privileged to have toured with Pieter and still send and receive emails from him and Tessa.
We cannot speak too highly of Blue Sky, Pieter and Tessa.
