Great safari at a low price
5/5

Thank you very much for the great safari!
I have 5 times experience of tour with Jockey tours, and every safari was fantastic!
The driver has great knowledge and experience, and he has the skill to stop a car at the right place to take a photo of animals!
The Lenchada camp is very clean and comfortable, and has security guards of masai people all day and night. It really reassured me. As the security is very important in Kenya, I recommend the safety campsite.
the tour cost was reasonable, you might want to compare the price with another companies.

Private tour Namibia
5/5

We were a group of 4 and arranged a private safari with Wild Dog. It was fabulous. Raymond was our driver and took such good care of us. We were well looked after and learned so much about the country and culture. Liz and her staff took care of every detail and need, so all we had to do was take in the sites and enjoy the incredible journey. All accomodations were great and van very comfortable. Excellant tour

Great, friendly guides, good food, and they definitely know how to find the animals!
4/5

Appreciated our time with Kanuth Adventure Safaris, even when challenges arose they found a solution and knew their way around the park. We saw on a one day safari all the animals we hoped to see.

Wonderful 3-day safari to Lake Manyara, Ngorogoro Crater and Tarangire!
5/5

I was recently in Tanzania for work and only had time (and money) for a short safari. Ben and Aurele at eTrip were wonderfully helpful in laying out different options and costs for me. I ended up going to Lake Manyara, Ngorogoro Crater and Tarangire. They also helped to arrange lodging in Arusha. The safari itself was amazing - the lodging choices for each night (Rhino Lodge at the Crater and Whistling Thorn Tented camp) were both great - pretty good food (better at Rhino) and very comfortable. My guide was fantastic! He spoke good English and had lots of information to offer. Overall, everything was fantastic and I would definitely recommend eTrip to anyone booking a safari in Tanzania.

Jurassic Park... 2015
5/5

Michael Haines is a hands on safari specialist. His knowledge of Africa (Botswana in our case) along with our desire for a vacation of a lifetime, made this safari a trip to remember. From our desire to see the animals on the plains to the delta, Michael planned the perfect 8 day/3 camp excursion. While there are no guarantees on animal sightings, the expectations were far exceeded in the camps Michael recommended and the hospitality and services provided from accommodations, to food/beverage. Look no further when booking your safari of a lifetime, as every detail and request is met by Michael with years of experience in making your vacation a dream come true.

Great Trip! Great Service! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
5/5

Wild Wind Safaris made our dream come true by booking a customized tour in 24 hours, only 2 weeks in advance, in order to accommodate my husband's work schedule. In planning I reached out to the top 5 tour companies on this site. Wild Wind was the first to get back to me, they were the only company to answer all of my questions immediately and offered us exactly what we wanted at a very affordable price! This was the type of service we recieved throughout our trip! Philip, our guide was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about all the places he visited, and a pleasure to travel with. He had a great sense of humor and we genuinely enjoyed our time with him. Wild Winds was very flexible with us when we wanted to extend our activities beyond the scheduled time or when we asked to change the itinerary mid-trip. Philip kept saying "of course we can do that! it's your vacation!" He was also welcomed by name at all of the charming B&Bs we stayed at and most of the restaurants and activities we visited. The vendors seemed to genuinely enjoy working with him. This says a lot about company!! First class service every step of the way! He even went above and beyond to get back my husband's cell phone when he left it in the lodge in Etosha! Amazing company! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I'm happy to share more if you message me privately.

After some months on a RTW tour I am finally home and can say easily the safari in Tanzania was, hands down, the best experience of this round the world tour. Thanks to it started in africa excellent guide and mother nature work, we were able to see the big5 and much more animals, and even hunts. All the staff was very very nice to us. The Serengeti is one of the most surreal places on Earth, I can't imagine being so in tune with nature like here.

In Serengeti we stayed in Serengeti Heritage camp, a tented camp which I believe is quite new and was stunning, one of the highlights of our safari for sure. I will never forget how many animals we could hear from inside our tents.

A fantastic experience from start to finish with the Classic Safari Company
5/5

My Wife and I wanted something different and a bit special for our Honeymoon so we decided on a Safari! After a lot of searching and googling we came across Kath Austin at the Classic Safari Company and from the start to finish delivered a fantastic experience.

Kath was very helpful and knowledgeable and provided us with a range of different options to meet our tight budget. We decided on multi stop honeymoon travelling from Cape town to Sabi Sabi Sands for Safari and then onto Zambia for the Victoria Falls.

Kath was very organised and was always available to take our calls and questions, she even came into the office out of hours to change my wifes flights (at very late notice) due to a family illness! And it is this extra mile that establishes the Classic Safari company as one you can trust.

Before leaving for our honeymoon we were provided with a fantastic booking pack containing a detailed itinerary and a summarised itinerary, including all our transfer, hotel and flight vouchers so we knew exactly where to be and when. It also included some complimentary luggage tags and shirts to get us in the safari mood which was a very nice touch!

From the moment we touched down in Cape town our transfers were smooth and friendly and the hotels were amazing.
1) In Cape town we stayed at the V&A Waterfront - very nice hotel, fantastic location overlooking table mountain with plenty of restaurants nearby.
2) In Sabi Sabi sands we stayed at the Arathusa Lodge - We booked the Luxury room which was clean, modern, spacious and extremely well decorated. The staff, rangers and food was excellent and we saw the magnificent 7 (including a wild dog hunt). It also has its own waterhole which was huge and always had activity (hippos, elephants, zebras, warthogs, impala etc
3) In Zambia we stayed at the Royal Livingstone hotel. A beautiful hotel and the rooms were amazing with great views of Victoria falls. I must say however the service received at the hotel certainly needed some work! A few times I ordered a drink a had to keep chasing them to remind them of my order!

Kath must also have made it clear during the reservations it was our honeymoon because a note and bottle of champagne was waiting for us at the V&A waterfront hotel. Thanks Kath! :)

In summary we could not have asked for better from the Classic Safari Company and the experiences we had on our honeymoon. I will therefore without hesitation recommend the Classic Safari company and Kath to all my friends and family!

Thanks Kath! :)

Hi Cuan,
Thank you for organizing wonderful family trip for us. Six months ago I was planning trip to Cape town,Kruger,Victoria falls and Botswana. Your suggestions about flights,Hotels/lodges were right on mark. I was impressed with your prompt response to all my questions. Also you took care of arranging need for special meals at lodges and on flights. All transport and transfers were excellent.
We had excellent game viewing on Kruger and Botswana. Both places we spotted many lions, leopards, cheetah, elephants ,hippos,Zebras, giraffes, impalas. Our camp DumaTau in Botswana was impressive for game viewing. We had good luck of spotting lot of live actions in Arathusa safari lodge in Kruger and Dumatau In Botswana and Chobe bush lodge. Staff and services were nice at all lodges and camp.
We had big surprise in Johannesburg, when you were at hotel lobby. It was nice of you to take time to see us. I should also mention how quick you were getting back to me about flight information while we were in Kasane.
Now we are back home. I am going through all pictures. what a wonderful trip we had. We have done African safari trip before but this trip will go down on memory lane.We can't thank you enough, Cuan, for helping us have the most memorable of holidays. I thank you and our family thanks you as a whole. We would happily recommend this to our friends and family.

The Masai Mara safari experience is breathtaking!
Overall rating
5/5

The wildlife and scenery at the Masai Mara national reserve are simply phenomenal. Thankfully we were able to witness the migration which was truly the icing on the cake! The landscape is stunning, there's plenty of opportunity to see the big cats (we spotted lions and cheetah) as well as a lovely sprinkling of herbivores in the Mara landscape. I would highly recommend staying at the Serena Mara lodge. The rooms are lovely and the views are amazing. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious with plenty of choice for both vegetarians and meat lovers. We went on safari rides twice a day and the weather at both times was great for both the ride and photography. Our guide was great at bringing us to the right spots at the right time and that is key for a fulfilling safari experience. It is important to note that one must not disturb the wildlife while on safari and I think that is every tourist's responsibility. So please respect nature and just follow your guide's instructions. The highlights of the trip included watching the herbivores cross the Mara river, a Cheetah hunt, a lion pride feeding on an early morning kill and watching a lion and lioness in honeymoon! If you're going on safari you should be prepared for all kinds of weather from hot to cold and rainy and also remember that this is a physically challenging holiday, but also extremely rewarding. I promise you that if you go to the Masai Mara, you will not be disappointed.
