A wonderful safari experience, especially thanks to Sona and Rizwan at Karibu World!
5/5

We had a wonderful trip to Tanzania and a truly memorable safari experience thanks to Karibu World! Karibu made the entire planning and vacation process seamless and smooth, and we were totally satisfied with the service we received. Sona at Karibut World and our tour guide Rizwan were both largely responsible for making this such a memorable and fun trip. Sona helped us throughout the entire planning process. She was patient and very supportive with all of my many (probably too many) emails and inquiries. I have a small baby and live in Ethiopia, so I relied heavily on Sona to take care of all of our planning needs, and she did a fantastic job... thanks! And in Tanzania, we were fortunate to have Rizwan as our guide and driver. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and, above all else, flexible and patient. We brought a one year old on the safari. We were very nervous about having him there and the challenges that might occur, but Rizwan was integral in helping us make it work with the little guy. He was flexible in altering plans as requested to meet our needs, while still helping us to see all of the amazing sites and animals on the game drives we went on. We will always be thankful for the very hard work that Rizwan put into the safari to make it memorable and fun. All in all, I would highly recommend Karibu World if you're interested in exploring Tanzania's wildlife and national parks!

amazing people
5/5

Many are the times i have travelled with different tour companies. Wecam safaris has stood out from the rest. One of the things i liked about them is the fact that they handle you on personal basis. The company representative who handled me was exeptional. Was always in the hotels with me just to ensure that i got the best from them. The rides were perfect. This is the only company so far that has given me a value for my money. Thank you mercy and the entire wecam crew

Excellent Planning
5/5

Last year i decided to pay Kenya a Visit and chose Wecam safaris to organize a nice budget safari. They organised a smart six days safari where we visited Masai Mara, Nakuru Tsavo and Mombasa. All the hotels i was booked on were good. The game drives were awesome. We had the opportunity to sport all the big five animals Thelions Elephants in big numbers Rhinos and many more animals. Our Mombasa Safari was my best. Especially the boat ride to Wasini Island. The crew was fantastic. We were able to spot some amazing dolphins at Kisite marine Park and also we were able to see some nice sea creatures with the assist of the crew.
The way we were received at the JKIA was cool. I once felt at home in a foreign Land.
I can boldly recommend the services of Wecam Safaris to anyone.

Amazing life changing experience. I felt safe and cared for from beginning to end. Wonderful staff
5/5

From the very beginning I was informed of every detail of what I would experience. How to prepare and what to expect. The staff was quick to reply back with answers to any questions I had about my up and coming trip. I was met at the airport by a delightful guide that was to be our driver and guide for the entire experience. He was very personal and friendly again answering all our questions. Our accomadations were spectacular. We felt safe and cared for the entire time. The safari experience was one I'll never forget. It changed my life. Our guide was knowledgeable and again answered all our questions about the animals and the culture in Tanzania. Each park was better then the other. We saw every animal possible, laughed a lot with our charming driver and we were well cared for. As for the food? Well let's just say we ate like kings. I would use this company again and can't wait to go back. Everyone we met from African Insights was very kind and know how to treat people.

Great safari at a low price
5/5

Thank you very much for the great safari!
I have 5 times experience of tour with Jockey tours, and every safari was fantastic!
The driver has great knowledge and experience, and he has the skill to stop a car at the right place to take a photo of animals!

The Lenchada camp is very clean and comfortable, and has security guards of masai people all day and night. It really reassured me. As the security is very important in Kenya, I recommend the safety campsite.

The tour cost was reasonable, you might want to compare the price with another companies.

Review about Mgahinga Gorilla National Park by Ross
Overall rating
5/5

A great choice for independent travelers as park permits are much easier to obtain than Bwindi and saves you having to buy at a premium from a tour operator. Fewer tourists, a rugged camping spot, and several excellent (but challenging) hikes make Mgahinga a great choice for those looking to go slightly further afield.

Trekking through the forest and getting up close a group of chimps is second only to finding the gorillas for the first time.

Picturesque views, great camping and a perfect layover between seeing chimps and gorillas

As far as traditional, savannah type game parks, QENP is one of Uganda's few options. The park's beauty and open landscape is a nice change from the more typical forests in the south west of the country, however, in many respects - e.g. wildlife and vastness - QENP lags far behind parks in neighbouring Kenya and Tanzania. But if you were looking for the standard safari experience you probably wouldn't be looking at Uganda in the first place!

QENP is definitely worth a visit and it's location between Kibale and Bwindi/Mgahinga make it an ideal place to spend a night between seeing the more impressive chimps and gorillas of the other parks. Because the wildlife is rather sparse in the park, grab a guide from the front gate if you must see the leopards and lions, otherwise do what we did and take a relaxing drive through the many tracks along the craters to enjoy the scenery while searching for the herds of elephants, buffalo and other animals.

As for accommodation, I highly recommend camping inside the park if you have the gear - great views, inexpensive and a nice way to experience the park. Don't worry about breakfast as there is a restaurant about 5 minutes from the campsite with an amazing view over the lake.

Considering this isn't Uganda's forte, the park offers some surprising moments and picturesque views. As long as you're not expecting the Maasai Mara, it will add to your experience of the country.
