Why Tribes are good to travel with
5/5

We have traveled many times with Tribes ourselves, arranged our son and daughter-in-law's honeymoon with them, and recommended friends who have traveled with them. They may not be the cheapest option, but the attention to ethical and sustainability issues, the highly personal - and incredibly patient - service, the way trips can be personalised and made to fit what we have wanted, the range of contacts Tribes have developed in destination countries - all this has a value you cannot put a price on. They are lovely people and Amanda and Guy (and now Tracey) feel more like friends than our travel agents.

We went during the winter season in Tanzania, so the weather was fantastic coupled with good game viewing along with an excellent and knowledgeable guide. Will definitely do it again. This was about my fifth safari and can't wait to do another one. Well done Mega Adventures!!!

The Armadillo Safari & Adventure Tour far exceeded my expectations!!
Overall rating
5/5

The Armadillo Safari & Adventure Tours did an excellent job hosting our safari experience. The safari vehicle was clean, air conditioned ,and comfortable. The food, natural habitat, the animals: "The Big Five and more..... were over the top. How precious to see the baby elephants move along with the adult herd! we saw rhinos: A rare black rhino prancing down the field! The weather was beautiful and rather cooled down a little bit at night. I recommend The Armadillo Safari & Adventure Tour in Kruger National Park, South Africa! You wont be disappointed!!

Zanzibar: Stonetown and Spice tour
5/5

The communications were excellent. Stayed at the Tembo Hotel Stonetown....amazing hospitality. I arrived at the hotel early in the morning way before my room would be ready so the staff set up up with a complimentary breakfast by the ocean. I left my power converter in Dar and the staff loaned me one for my stay. The dinner menu was lovely and to eat by the sea with the waves whispering the shore was magical. My tour guide was knowledgeable and arranged a spice tour for me on day two. My tour operator checked in with me on my return to ensure my time away was wonderful as she promised and it was.

Botswana Safari with Gondwana Tours and Safaris
5/5

I booked a holiday for 2 weeks across different camps in Botswana with Gondwana Tours and Safaris. Mark Hathaway was very professional and knew the area very well so could recommend based on what I said I would like to do. Mark kept in regular email contact and we Skyped a few times to get the arrangements just right. I have now returned having had an amazing holiday where I saw 62 lions over a 14 day period and 3 leopards who were not elusive at all. Thank you Mark for booking me such a fabulous holiday.

Simple easy camping friendly game site
Overall rating
3/5

Moremi game drive is situated at a comfortable distance from maun meaning that the accommodation at maun works well. The reserve has a wonderful campsite and guides are trained professionals. Guided facilities are recommended as they can spot better game sightings. However a good 4x4 vehicle makes this place a good destination for a self drive safari if you are camping. The trails are well defined and the park monitored by the rangers. Spotting of lepords and running giraffes are my favs. Elephants are plenty in Botswana and wonderful place to visit and will not blow a whole into your travel budget.

A fantastic trip
5/5

Uniglobe organised a fantastic trip for my wife and I co-inciding with our friends' wedding in Nairobi. Paula was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We had an excellent few days in the Nairobi environs followed by an unforgettable safari in Tsavo West. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the Uniglobe team and will certainly be returning to beautfiul Kenya!

amazing experience

We loved our recent trip and had an unforgettable holiday.
There is a lot to do between historic options, safari, wine regions, hikes, animal opportunities eg. penguins or sharks.
We had quite an adventurous holiday and loved exploring South Africa.

Overall rating

Ngorongoro Crater was woderful. Lot of game in a beautiful scenery. Although the camp at the egde of the crater is cool. And cold, so take warm clothes. Loved this place for shoting the milkyway and startrails.
