Perfect Service
5/5

We’re back after 6 days safari with It Started in Africa. Everything was top notch from beginning to goodbye. It took us about an year to plan this safari. During these time we exchanges hundreds of emails with the company to discuss the itinerary. How they always replied within minutes at any time of the day or week was beyond me. Or how they dealt with so many emails from me. But I’m so glad it all worked out to provide us with the itinerary and accommodation options that ended up being the perfect choice for our family and kept us within the desired budget.
The company director was availaby on the cellphone in case we need anything and always went the extra mile to take care of us. Fortunetely no call was required, everything went smoothly. We saw hundreds of elephants, dozens of lions and other big cats, even the rhinos we were able to see in the Crater.
I am sure this company has a bright future ahead. We would not hesitate to use them again.

Excellent first trip to Kenya

Our group spent 3 days in the Maasai Mara before heading to Eldoret to provide medical training. This was the perfect way to get over jet lag and stay active. We were able to see the Big 5 and multiple other animals on our daily safaris. We flew from Nairobi to a small airstrip next to our hotel with Safarilink and I couldn’t recommend this option more because it saves you a 5 hour drive (flight was 45 minutes) and it just adds to the adventure for about an extra $100. We stayed at the Serena Mara lodge and the stay was wonderful. The staff was very accommodating and the meals were actually pretty good (well seasoned &plenty of options) for a large scale hotel operation.

We used Seremara safaris to plan our excursion. Benson and his team were there every step of the way, from driving us from the hotel to Wilson Airport, checking us into our flight and picking us up on our return. Communication was easy during planning. Seremara was very detailed in what was to be provided and payment options were a breeze. Benson, from Seremara, was available via WhatsApp during our safari for any issues.

Needless to say our group was very pleased with the tour we had set up for us and we had no issues along the way. We would definitely use Seremara again and I’m happy to have been matched up with them through this website.

Hello there

We have already used your company in December to Serengeti etc. It was an amazing car and a driver we had, and are certainly telling everyone about our great experience with your company. This tour was booked by Sona Thakrar who did an amazing job looking after us from start to end. We were very pleased with the service she provided us and she is a great asset to your company.

We got very much looked after your Arusha office when there too Ian. I truely recommend your company and ofcourse the people make it.

Once again thank-you to Sona Thakrar for making our December trip a very memorable one for life.

About: Tanzania
Warm friendly people with diverse and grand landscapes.

Our travel through Tanzania was a fantastic adventure. We had a 6 night/7 day all inclusive Safari with Airport Transfers from and back to Kilimanjaro Airport. Even before we landed our communications with our tour company (Serengeti Wakanda Tours & Safaris) were detailed, clear, and prompt with responses to any of our questions.
The people everywhere were friendly and welcoming. We always felt safe and enjoyed taking in the local food and culture. The national parks, conservation areas are well looked after and our guide (Benjii) always had our safety and the safety of the wildlife first and foremost at all times.
We were astounded at the amount of wildlife we saw each and every day. Even if we saw similar animals, elephants for example- and we saw them every day, each time we saw them the setting was completely different and changed the experience entirely, in a very good way. This was the case for so much of the wildlife... if our jaws were not dropping from the wildlife itself then they were dropping from the pure natural beauty of the landscape.
We had great weather with only a few intermittent rain storms that for the most part we watched pass far off in the distance with the occasional light rain shower on two of the seven days of our trip. Our safari took us from Arusha to the Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, past the Ngorngoro Crater on our way to the Serengeti National Park, and then ended with a night camping on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater and final game drive throughout the Ngorongoro Caldera and Conservation Area itself.
One bit of advice to consider would be avoiding either the drive from Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park or the return drive from Serengeti National Park back to Ngrongoro Conservation Area. While the scenery is stunning and there is wildlife along the way, the road is brutally bumpy. It is primarily a dirt road and a non-stop teeth chattering onslaught for several hours (around four hours). My strong recommendation would be to undertake the drive one way so as to be able to take in the scenery and wildlife (especially if the Great Migration is moving through that area in late February through March, which it was during our travels), but then book a flight from Serengeti back to Ngrongoro, or Arusha, or wherever the next destination might be.
Having said that, it would be a mistake of epic proportions to pass up a Tanzanian Safari simply because of the bumpy conditions along that stretch of road.
All said, the experience was life changing and we fully intend on returning to Tanzania in the coming years.

Huge park, lots of game, the boattrip (3AM/UWA) is amazing. The lion tracking is worth doing: you get to see lions up close (inquire with UWA) - Uganda Large Predator Project (ULPP)

Swift in communication, superb service
5/5

We have just completed a wonderful trip in Kenya. We had booked this company following glowing reviews it got online and I would say that I am very glad I did. Being two ladies my mum and me, I wanted a company were we would feel safe and secure as this was our first time travel to Africa and we knew little about the country. I am pleased to say we had the best service before the trip and during.
I had sent a email originally outlining what I wanted to see and how long I had to see everything. Peter was excellent in advising me and the numerous emails I sent were swiftly responded to.

Our flight was arriving early in the morning (3.30 a.m.) and upon arrival our driver Joseph met us. Our first impression already gave us assurances and we felt in very good hands and that feeling never left through out the entire trip. Joseph went above and beyond to transport us, guide us and look after us. He was always on time and polite. His vast knowledge enabled us see almost all we wished for, we couldn't have asked for a better driver. He gave us extended game drives sometimes out of the itinerary and we soon realized he was out to have us enjoy our trip as much as we could.

If you are lucky like us to visit Africa, use Swift Travel and Tour management and ask Joseph, the hawk-eyed driver to be your guide.

I would definitely recommend this company for their professional work and value for money. I hope to be returning for another adventure to Kenya and probably Tanzania next summer and will be sure to book with them.
