My trip to Kenya and Tanzania was the trip of a lifetime. I used AfriChoice and they were spectacular photo safari guides. The accommodations were 5 star, the food was amazing, the Land Cruisers were in mint condition and we were treated to the best wildlife viewing I have ever experience. I want to go back very soon!

The diversity in Arusha National park is amazing. Especially the rainforest part. I felt like Alice in wonderland. Thousands and thousands of butterflies, beautiful trees and lightfall through the trees, then the scenery changes in mountains and lakes full of flamingo's. Wildlife is everywhere. Go there!

Coming from the Netherlands we drove from Iringa to Ruaha National Park to stay there at the Ruaha River Lodge next to the river Ruaha. The accomodation was stunning. Sitting on the veranda the wildlife was passing on the riverside in front of our eyes. Elephants, girafs, impala's, lions, baboons, all kinds of birds, crocodile and the amazing hippo-pool in front of our logde. The lodge itself was comfortable and clean.
The food in the restaurant was very good as well as the wine.
We had our own transportation, so we hired a guide, who did his job very well, and saw a lot of animals.
Highlights were 2 occasions with elephants: First we saw on the riverside more then 45 elephants, a kind of gathering, while we were enjoying the vieuw relaxing on the veranda of the lodge. Second was a scary one: an elephant mother (matriarch) was protecting her herd and she came to attack us. But the guide helped by putting off the motor and explaining what we had to do. It was really an adventure! One we will never forget.
The scenery is magnificent, especially the vieuw at the river looking to the mountains on sunset and sunrise.
The weather was in june not too hot and comfortable.

The country Tanzania is magnificent because of the diversity of nature, rivers and lakes. Then, the friendly and colorful people: they are the finishing touch!

Perfect honey moon destination !

Awsome trip:
- great wildlife - we saw 3 cheetah eating a baby kudo, we were like at 5 meters from them, we would hear the noise of the bones being crashed...
- our car had an issue - the guide turns that into a safari walk in the middle of the bush... Scary and super exciting !
- the outside bathroom is a must for honeymoon, specially when some impalas are crossing by...
Beware of the noise at night ... It's almost impossible to sleep due to the noise of the wild life and the wind.
But these memories stay long, it was a genuine adventure !

I have been to Q.E 15 times and just love this place. The views from the crater area is magnificent. A trip with the Jetty up Kazinga Channel is an absolutely must, the the bird life is second to none and watching the elephants coming for a swim at sunset is not bad either. I've all seen leopard there and of course plenty of hippos.
I've lived in Uganda 1998-2002 and have later been back to stay at Mweya lodge, witch I love!! The views are amazing and sitting by the flow over pool watching the the animals by the river with a sun downer after a day of safari....lost for words!

There are only two places in the world where you can watch Mountain gorillas.
Uganda has 2 rainy seasons and is therefor so lush, plus you have Mountain, lakes and craters. There are 1061 species of bird with must be record.

At that time the park was more exciting and less touristic than other parks in south and east Africa

The wildlife was abundant but it was the variety of tours that made the South Luangwa days outstanding. We went on ordinary day safaris, night safaris and hiking safaris. The old Landcruiser without doors and roof was an extra thrill booster. The guide Jason knew where to find the animals and also managed to avoid too close encounters while walking. Extremely exciting experience. Highly recomended!
