A once in a lifetime experience.

We went to the Ngorongoro Crater in our own vehicle (on a self-drive safari) and it was a great experience. The roads are well kept, and the camping was excellent. We saw great sightings like a white rhino, lions in the forest and more antelope, zebra & gnu herds than you can shake a stick at. It's also wonderful seeing the Maasai with their herds in and around the crater, where they live.

Swift Communication and professional service
5/5

I and my wife would like to thank Swift Travel for making our 50th anniversary safari trip to Kenya such a memorable one. The responsiveness, professionalism and friendliness have been exceptional and I have already begun recommending you and Swift Travel to my friends and colleagues.

From comfortable safari jeep, spot on accommodation and superb guide, everything was just perfect. Our tour was a great success, thanks to the entire group that oversaw the planning and actual execution of our safari, we appreciated their work and how thoroughly reliable and meticulous they were.

I would thoroughly recommend Swift Travel and Tour Management to anyone looking for a great time in Kenya.

A land of beauty and warmth
Overall rating
5/5

My husband and I have been wanting to experience a Safari so for my 60th birthday we chose to go to South Africa. In all honesty, we chose SA because it was an easier destination to get to from Hungary, where we currently live. The country and our experience being there did not disappoint. We are so glad we chose this destination. South Africa is blessed with a diverse landscape. In the north is the Savannah/bush that during March was still green and lush. The south, around Cape Town has beautiful mountains, white sandy beaches, and of course the ocean. Tourism is an important contributor to the SA economy and our experience was that the country and its people are second to none in welcoming tourists. Staff at the game reserves, hotels, restaurants, attractions work tirelessly to make sure your experience is the best it can be. We went to 2 game reserves (Sabi Sands & Kruger) and then spent a few days in Cape Town and its surroundings. We saw many animals in the game reserves and the lodges were beautiful. Cape Town has great food, many shops, a beautiful old town, gorgeous vineyards and the Cape of Good Hope. All worth a visit. We had a great experience and recommend SA to anyone considering it.

Review about Masai Mara National Reserve by Rich Vliet
Overall rating
5/5

The Masai Mara was the highlight of the Kenyan portion of our safari. The wildlife was unparalleled, from lions, cheetah, leopards, zebras, elephants, hippos, rhinos, impalas, gazelles, wildebeest, an amazing variety of birds, and several other animals. The scenery was breathtaking, and we never tired of driving through the park taking in all of the amazing animals and locations. We also visited a Masai village, and that was remarkable. We stayed at the Mara Leisure Camp, and that was very nice as well - the "tents" were amazing - yes they were canvas tents, but the size of the rooms and bathrooms rivaled any lodge we stayed in during our trip. The food was very good. I highly recommend it.

Robert Is the best!
5/5

Robert of karibu safaris in kenya thought of everything, he met us with safari program, wifi gadget and a mobile phone with a kenyan network just in case we had any problme we could reach him quick. Then he took us to a forex exchange so we could change money to the local currency, and led us in the safari van out of town to our first destination. I recommend him highly to anyone visiting kenya. My only regret is not spending enough time in this adventurous and friendly country we were on transit from Tanzania conference meeting heading back home.

Review about Lake Nakuru National Park by Rich Vliet
Overall rating
5/5

Lake Nakuru was very unique - this was the only park we visited with a lake as big as Nakuru. We saw a diverse range of animals, and the flamingos, storks and other water fowl were beautiful. The lunch we had at the lodge inside the park was very nice and it overlooked the lake, providing for a very relaxing and scenic meal. We stayed at Kigio Wildlife Camp while we visited the Lake, and that was a very nice location. We were able to take a nature hike, and walked amid a family of giraffes one afternoon - that was truly memorable!

About: Kenya
Beautiful country!
Overall rating
5/5

It’s a beautiful country, with so much adventurous activities. The wildlife sightings are a dream come true for any wildlife enthusiast. Avoid travelling to Mombasa in Jan-Mar, as it gets very hot in the day.

Review about Aberdare National Park by Rich Vliet
Overall rating
4/5

In Aberdare, we stayed at the Ark lodge. The ark is unlike anywhere else we went to - once you arrive, you are locked in until the next day. The lodge is surrounded by wildlife, and there are several viewing decks from which to see them. I'm glad this was the first location we went to - I think it would not compare to the parks we went to later on in the safari, but for a first night outside of Nairobi it was a lot of fun. The food and drinks were very good, and the wildlife viewing was very good as well - you can get very close to the animals on the lower level of the lodge. A good first night - I would recommend it as a way to start a safari.

Perfect, dream vacation with all our African bucket list items!
5/5

Julia created the perfect African vacation experience for us. We just returned from a dream trip - from Cape Town highlights to a private game preserve for safaris to Zambia where we had the most amazing Victoria Falls experience! Julia listened to our hopes for the trip and produced an experience that far exceeded our expectations! This was our 4th trip to Africa, but the first time we used African Safari Company. They are head and shoulders above the rest.

How to feel a deep connection with wildlife
Overall rating
5/5

We visited Madikwe and our experience was beyond words. The feeling of connection with wildlife without feeling like we are disturbing the animals or inducing new behaviors due to our presence meant a lot to us. Seeing them in their environment, living side by side and drinking side by side (zebras, impalas, …) by the pond in a tranquil and placid way was spectacular. Seeing lions and cubs was quite an experience too!
South African open skies offer a lot to enjoy at night when you just lift the head up and contemplate stars.
