If you have not the chance to visit the San people (Bushman), then listen carefully when they speak, all with click. The Sptizberg is great.

Must to see
Kaokoland is not so much a wildlife destination even we met some wild giraffes, zebras (but there are everywhere in Namibia) and some other wild animals. We unfortunately missed the wild elephants but they are not so hard to see apparently. Kaokoland is more for scenery-drive. Lanscapes there are wonderful (Warmquelle, Epupa falls especially), the place is not crowed with tourists at all, it needs even some organisation to get there, get fuel, food and water because it is not easy to have some after.
But it is definitely an experience I recommend. If you have the change to organize a visit to the Himba people, it is great but just be careful when you choose your tour, because some guides really don't care about the people and trade alcohol or cigarettes with them (instead of sugar, tea or other food products).
We visited Kaokoland by our own with a Condor Toyota and camping tents. It was just great this way.
If you are looking for a wildlife destination, then Etosha is probably better, but for scenery, only Namib desert (Sossusvlei and Deathvlei) can match with Kaokoland!!

Review about Kenya by michi_z
Kenya is a good place for safaris. It is compromise between a certain level of organiztion (some call it civilization) the bush vibe feeling.
There are places in africa which are more remote more basic but if you in wildlife spotting and photograhy you won't realize it on (good) the pictures taken.

Review about Namibia by mimi785nono
Namibia is definitely a place to visit soon, before his beauty attracts more people and become a "tourist destination" like South Africa. Namibia is wild and beautiful. First time I was there (in 2005) it was like we were the first persons to land here, we sometimes drove hours before seeing another car. This is what I loved about this country, the feeling of "discovering" the place.

Wild and lonley, fantastic wildlife, nice beetles
We did a entomolgical research trip with own car. Wonderful and very wild and lonley.
Take care you have a GPS with you when you are not guided, the roadsigns are sometimes difficult to find. When you dont like Tsetse flies, dont go in rainy season, but then you will miss insect life.
Review about Namibia by StefanHuber
Went there in 2003 with my buddy from Simonskloof. Super weather condition (not too hot) and due of his expert knowledge from the area (he lived in Namibia for 5 years), we had an amazing time.
Namibia is very interesting from a geological perspective and there is a very good chance to see wild animals almost everywhere. It's worth to go there.
The countryside is so beautiful and amazing.
I strongly can recommend Namibia as a holiday destination.
Looking forward to go back in a few years.
Review about Skeleton Coast National Park by davisww
Great park where one can see beach creatures and also land animals. This huge expanse of territory has few visitors and is a great camping destination for the adventurous self-caterers.
