The tour to the Nairobi National Park was exceptional and most amazing experience.
The driver was amazing, knowledgeable and an excellent tracker.
Te services were amazing from pickup, to the actual tour were he communicated clearly and fluently and was able to answer all our questions and give us so much information about animals, nature, the parks and lots of other materials, all the way to the time he dropped us of.
It was awesome and outlived our expectations.
Kudos.

Great 4-day safari
Fantastic 4-day camping safari with our guide Jollis who was so nice, easy-going, knowledgeable and helpful. We went to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara, found the Big 5 and more, including lion cubs, leopard and many cheetahs! We slept in a tent and our cook Elias made us delicious vegetarian meals. We were lucky to be able to travel during the pandemic so the parks and campsites were empty, such a special experience - even though we of course hope that tourism picks back up soon for companies like this who are doing a great job ! Thanks for a magical trip !

Reliable and serious agency to organise your safari.
- Very good communication with the agency to organize our safari, we were able to choose the hotels/lodges, the airport of arrival, as well as the parc we visited (we added a day to a 4 day trip proposed, and the agency totaly adapted the program)
- Very good communication even during the covid crisis, you have an answer in a maximum 24 hour delay.
- The hotels during our safari were of very good standard, the food excellent (you have more than needed) and well located (quiet).
- Our guide Ninah was experienced, he managed to find all the animals we wanted to see, he takes time for you to watch the animals you want, he explained to us a lot about wildlif. Thank you so much for these incredible days with you!

Very conscientious
Sylvester went above and beyond making sure everything was set up before the trip and even saw us off that morning. Hassan drove very well especially since we were traveling on Mombasa road. This allowed us to relax while we rode. We enjoyed the scenery in Tsavo and the animals who showed themselves. Seven By Far Travel was very accommodating to our desires. We hope to use their services again soon.

7 Day Safari trip with Charles - BEST TRIP EVER - 5 Stars - 10/10 - August 2020
We researched and decided to make a last-minute safari trip to Tanzania after reading about the COVID restriction. We contacted numerous safari tour operators, and Shadows of Africa immediately stood out with their quick response and budget-friendly options. Our main point of contact before arriving in Tanzania was Lies. Lies was very quick to respond through Whatsapp and helped cater the trip to our preferences. Typically planning a safari takes months in advance, but Lies got everything set up in the span of 2-3 days!
We literally finalized the trip and paid our final bill on the same day we flew to Tanzania (a 24-hour flight). We were crossing our fingers and hoping everything would go well the moment we arrived at the airport since there was no way to contact while we were in the air.
We finally arrived at Kilimanjaro airport, showed our COVID results, paid for Visa, picked up our luggage, and then headed out to the arrival lobby.
Charles, our safari specialist, was holding up a sign with our names. Once we went to him, we were immediately greeted and brought to our epic safari truck. He helped us load the luggage, provided us with masks, gave us hand sanitizer, and wiped down the car's seats and door handles. We were exhausted from the trip, but little did we know that we were about to embark on the safari experience of a lifetime.
Our itinerary was as follows: Arusha, Tarangire, Masai Village, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater.
We are not going to go into the details of each day of our trip. But having Charles as our guide in Tanzania made the experience that much more memorable and unique. We have never met a guide who is more knowledgeable, hard-working, and has a passion for wildlife like Charles. The way he drove us around each park and showcased each animal to us was terrific. We had a goal of seeing the big 5 (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and African buffalo) and Charles went above and beyond and made sure we saw each animal. Charles even drove 100 kilometers deep into Serengeti just to show us cheetahs. Charles was so dedicated to making sure we saw all the wildlife, and we were so happy.
You know you have a great Safari tour guide when all the tour guides on the road are asking Charles for guidance on where to spot the animals. Charles can spot wildlife many miles away without binoculars, and we were always amazed. Charles's positive attitude is infectious and puts a smile on your face. He was social and friendly and conversed with us on the long drives.
Each day was an exciting new experience and allowed us to see so many of Tanzania wildlife. On our first day in the Serengeti, we were heading back to the camp after an exciting day time game drive. But we got lost because the original camp closed down due to no tourism. What should have been a scary experience, because it got pitch dark in the Serengeti turned into one of the most exciting adventures on the trip. We experienced a nighttime game drive, and Charles was pointing out all the animals as we were driving at night. I wished we would get lost every night!
Overall, we have ZERO complaints about the trip. We had such a fantastic experience. The parks were so empty because of COVID, so we really felt like we were the only ones and could see all the animals without interruption. Lies professionally handled our booking, and Charles expertly guided us throughout Tanzania.
If you decide to do a Safari, we wholeheartedly recommend Shadows of Africa and ask for Charles!

The recommendation for a tour that never happened
We never got to go on our safari in May 2020. We were looking forward to it but COVID prevented us from doing so. We would like to thank Cuan though for working with us to keep within our budget and put together what we believe would have been a wonderful personalised trip. We would also like to thank Cuan for working tirelessly for us to get our monies back. We are certain that he worked above and beyond for this. If this is the service that is given to a new client, then we have no hesitation to recommend African Ubuntu Safaris to anyone who is looking for a very reputable tour company. Thank you once again.

Worst safari company. RUN AWAY!
We had a terrible experience with 3 Wonders. It was not communication at all, they did what they wanted after they got the money, changing all the schedule. They mixed 4 different safaris in one group, so it was absolutely a mess. They even tried to squeeze 9 people (it was max. 6 people) plus the driver and the cook in one car. As far as we said we were not going into the car and after a long discussion, two person went in another car, finally we were 9 persons and only 8 seat belts. It was not enough room for luggage, so some luggage was inside the car what it wasn't very comfortable.
The car was very old, more than 500.000 kms and very bad tires without tread, we were not safe on that car. You can see the pictures. The driver had to deal with the engine several times because it was failing, the way back from Serengeti took more than 8 hs. because he had to drive maximum 40 km/hr, we were passed for all cars!
I never got the sunrise game drive at Serengeti and they tried to change my accommodation the last night at a Lodge for a camping, again a long discussion with a very rude and disrespectful driver Kindu.
Everyday we were asked to have breakfast at 6:30 am and never started the game drive before 9:00 am.
Don't trust this company, you are only a way to make cash, they don't care for anything but money.

Very informative and knowledgeable about the animals habitat
After internet scans of traveling urgency to facilitate the process of viewing wilderbeest migration of every start of July and September events every year. Most East Africa travelers recommended the
highly reputable and holiday marker African Home Adventure Safaris company. My email inquiry for August 2020 visit was responded to by a polished customer service manager Mr Albert who briefed me about other amenities like accommodation and meals. My family of 5 including my spouse and 3 children were booked for 3 days in magnificent tented camp accommodations facilities erected by African Home Adventure Safaris inside Maasai mara national park with excellent views of the park.
The day of wonder migration of the wilderbeest came and my family got chance to briefed by the African Home Adventure Safaris (AHAS) driver come tour guide... He gave us chronological sequence of events... Which commenced immediately after the wilderbeest bearing their young one in early month of August and end of September, the more than 1.5 millions of wilderbeest animals would start moving from the Kenyans side of Maasai mara natural areas toward north-west towards the central Serengeti National Park in Tanzania for the fresher-greener grass drawing with them thousands of Zebra and smaller groups of antelope.
The wildlife tour expert went ahead to explain to us that the ever-moving columns of wildebeest joined by a host of companions animals, follow an age-old route in search of grazing pasture and water flow. The journey takes them across the plains of the Maasai mara in Kenya at edge where we were standing, all the way south into Tanzania, through the Serengeti to the edge of the Ngorongoro crater, before circling up and around in a clockwise direction. Finally the AHAS tour expert concluded the excitement forage story by explaining that a long the way, high drama is always present, as thousands of animals are taken by predators, and thousands more are born, replenishing the numbers and sustaining the circle of life.
We ended the exhilarating sojourner by enjoying sumptuous meals of game meals of nyama choma at the African Home Adventure Safaris Restaurant and resort.... And my all my family members are very excited about this exciting experience with wildlife and we committed to be regular visitors to the place every August month of the year for the wonderful event..
