Good safari experience
Our overall Safari experience was great. The driver (Thomas) was great and would always be on time for all of our trips. He communicated very well and spoke good English. We specifically enjoyed Ngorongoro the most of all of the parks we visited - Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Serengeti and Manyara.

Sharing Culture in a personal, engaging way!
I have known Ibrah since I first visited Tanzania in 2008. Prior to starting Afrishare, Ibrah worked with Cross Cultural Solutions while I was a volunteer. He was a consistently friendly face and provided an extremely hospitable environment in my recent trips to Tanzania. I have referred friends to Afrishare for the famous "Kilimanjaro" treks. Ibrah makes sure that you get the deepest level of engagement with the community, while keeping your volunteers costs minimal in order to keep the volunteer placements running.
Afrishare is a life-changing experience. I have met fellow travelers on their paths, and all of them seem to become like family at the Afrishare compound. There are people from all walks of life, and Ibrah does a fantastic job at creating a community. My memories of my time with Afrishare will be with me indefinitely, and I am planning a trip back as soon as possible!
Ibrah works to provide safaris and treks at the lowest possible prices in the region. I have not found any other organization that provides safe, and reliable, safaris at such affordable prices.

Amazing safaris mainland and astonishing Zanzibar
Safari (3 days) :
- Ngorongoro : it is a must. Incredible 1 day experience (1 day is enough)
- Tarangire : great park (we stayed 1 day there (I think 1 day may be enough as well)
- Manyara : good as well (1 day is enough)
Would have liked to do Serengeti for several days. Maybe in the future.
--> Doing a safari in Tanzania was the best experience of my life so far. Many thanks to Samora Explorers.
Zanzibar :
- Amazing beaches with really high water sea temperature
- Turtles, dolphins, sea turtles. For all these, be careful with the company you choose. Make sure it respects and protects the environment
- Very nice hotel (Pongwe Bay Resort)
- Met really nice people (tour guides, people at the hotel, etc.)
- Lots of negotiations to do for everything you do (tours, souvenirs, etc.)
- Be careful if you rent a car. Maybe it's better to go with a guide / taxi driver like we did the last days. They can come to your hotel and be your guide for the day
- Very good sea food
Overall we felt safe in Tanzania but we never went outside at night for example.
Thank you Tanzania 🇹🇿❤️

Experience of a life time
We visited both Balule Nature Reserve and Kruger National Park proper. We stayed a private lodges, Toro Yaka Bush Lodge and Grand Kruger Lodge close to the Crocodile Bridge Gate. Toro Yaka Lodge is simply outstanding. It was our second visit there and just as wonderful the second time as the first time. The safari drives were exciting, because the tracker and driver can go cross country we had the chance to view animals from up close. Because of their expertise in animal behavior, we were able to observe lions hunting and making an impala kill and the witnessed the ferocious scene of the lions' feeding frenzy. We saw leopards resting and hunting, and were up close and personal with a black rhino and her 350 lb. baby. Some of the elephants appeared to be curious about our Land Rover and came to observe us, another elephant, on the other hand, seemed annoyed and knocked a tree into our vehicle's path.
On our self drive in Kruger National Park we saw the "big five" within an hour in the Skukuza area. The most thrilling adventure was observing a leopard ambushing and killing an impala at a water hole and a giraffe challenging the leopard as it was dragging the dead impala off into the bush.

Amazing country
Tanzania didn’t disappoint my expectations. If I could imagine that the parks of Tarangire and Serengeti were not to be missed, the visit of Ngorongoro left me speechless; in particular the view point of the park is among the most beautiful things I have ever seen I was also surprised by the lush vegetation of the Arusha region and even more by the tour to the waterfalls of the Mataruni Falls at the foot of the Kilimanjaro. The kindness of the population and the unforgettable smiles of children are not far behind. The tour operator DANCING SIMBA SAFARI was really good.
