Unbelievable experience starting with arriving in a bush plane, viewing a wide a variety of animals including wild dogs, lions, cheetahs and leopards and enjoying our stay at Kwara. Tracking the animals was exciting and our guides were fantastic.

Many thanks to Ute; she was awesome from the first contact till the end. Great organisation and communication... she made us feel very comfortable with our choice to book the Safari. We enjoyed it soooooo much! On our first Safari day we were able to spot 4 out of the Big 5; an unforgettable experience!!!

We stayed in three different places so experienced a variety of environments. Walker Bay was beautiful, we visited caves and the beach, went shark cage diving, horse riding and stayed in a beautiful private nature reserve in exquisite lodges amogst milk wood trees. The second part of our trip was in Cape Town, we booked fast track tickets to Table Mountain which was thoroughly worthwhile! The scenery is stunning. We then booked a driver to take us to Stellenbosh wine tasting. Again stunningly beautiful with great food & wine! We walked a long way from Fresnae to The Waterfront and took a rather worrying shortcut so wish we had stayed on the front where it felt safe. Best to get taxis! The third part was in the Kruger National Park, in a small safari lodge which was amazing. We saw so many animals, the big 5, the ugly 5 and so much more. Incredible experiences. Throughout the whole experience the people were friendly helpful and we were looked after beautifully by Kim from Safari online and the hotel staff at Grootbos private nature reserve, The Clarendon Fresnae and Baobab Ridge Safari Lodges. I can't recommend it more highly!

About: Tanzania
Magical
Overall rating
5/5

Used Suricata Safaris for a midrange cost, 5 day safari trip to Tanzania. What a great experience! The beginning and scheduling was a little rocky as the introduction/professionalism level was a little lacking but once we were on the road it became the best experience ever. Our guide, Lewis exhibited the highest level of competence and even when the going got rough, for us or others, on muddy roads was always capable and there to help.
Tanzania is truly a magical, beautiful country with a high regard for preservation of its culture and natural resources. We were there during the rainy season so everything was green and lush and although it was overcast the rain was usually short lived 15-20 minutes per day and did not diminish the ability to see the myriad animals. It is also migration and calving time over the Serengeti and seeing vast herds of zebras and wildebeests with many young newborns was awe inspiring. Each Park and Conservancy area has its own unique ecosystem with different plant and animal life so there really was not a dull moment. I also have respect for a country that preserves its indigenous Masai population and tries to integrate their beliefs and way of life into the landscape of the country. Would go back again!

EVERYONE SHOULD VISIT KENYA
Overall rating
5/5

I went to Kenya as a volunteer , and I was with poor kids that were abandoned or abused. Although it was the sad part of our trip because you see a different world and my heart was breaking everything I was there, their smiles was making my day and made me happy.
After volunteering , we went for safari… Best experience ever. Safari in Masai Mara was unique. They say that it is a once in a lifetime experience but personally I can’t wait till the next time I will travel to Kenya and live this again

A great way to spend a day in Africa
Overall rating
4/5

We have been fortunate to visit many Safari Park in both South Africa and across South Africa, and our day visit to Addo Elephant Park did not disappoint. Being short of time we could only spare the day for our visit, but it proved to be a great day safari location, easily accessible from Port Elizabeth and Port Alfred. We started our visit early in the morning at the Southern entrance to the park which meant there was far fewer cars on the road than the areas up around the main cam. We were spoilt with magnificient sightings of both Elephant and Buffalo herds. We didn't see any of the big cats, but others in the area did our timing was just a little off.

The bush in many places in Addo is very thick which can make spotting game a bit challenging at times. As we only visited for the day I can not comment on accommodation, however we did visit the restaurant at the main camp and were very impressed by the meal. Everything from arriving, purchasing our day pass and moving around the park worked efficiently and the park appears to be very well run. We will certainly visit again if we are lucky enough to find ourselves in this part of the world again.
