Beautiful South Africa- with lots to explore from mountains to ocean, and amazing safari experience

South Africa is full of beautiful places to explore. One visit is really not enough to explore all that South Africa has to offer. I have been there multiple times and each time have explored areas I have never seen before. The nature is extraordinary and access to safaris is also top notch. Safari lodges are affordable compared to other countries in Africa. The people in South Africa are very welcoming and happy to help tourists. If you are looking for an easy way to get to Kruger and enjoy safaris in a comfortable way without having to drive yourself, I recommend contacting Safari with Us, as they proved excellent services including transport from/to Johannesburg. South Africa truly has something for every type of traveler.

Nice detour/side-visit between Chobe and Okavango. Not as great as those but still good for a sunset drive into the pans. May be different (much better) in low (water) season.

Memories forever - elephants and hippos eating on the riverbank, a few meters only from our boat! Croqs, lions, giraffes, every wild animal you can wish to see. Amazing place. Best safari(s) we've done.

Travelling to Africa in Style
5/5

We had a fantastic time during our travels in Kenya, highlighted by the visit to the Maasai Mara, which was well organised by Seven Wonders Safaris. We were picked up on time from our residential address. The driver was a well informed tour guide himself and knew where to spot to show us the sites, ensuring we did not miss anything. The choice of accommodation in the Maasai Mara was unique and memorable because I felt as if I was in a 5* hotel in the midst of the Mara. There was entertainment every night followed by a camp fire. We were also very fortunate to see the Big 5 in one day. All in all we were very impressed with the good organization of the holiday, the scheduling of all events and not least the personalized treatment we received from all involved.

About: Kenya
Travelling in Kenya can be tiring because of the long road trips, but it definitely worth it !

Second time in Kenya. My impression is that the country developed in fifteen years and it's definitely moving forward. I think the overall level of services, welcoming and staff professionalism is good compare to some other countries I've been. We generally found our trip enjoyable because we didn't suffer any unexpected issue or lack of organisation, etc.

However, keep in mind that the road trips between the parks can be long and exhausting. Plus it is sometime necessary to depart early in the morning. But it totally worth it ! The scenery is exceptional and the wildlife we could observe was so numerous ! Yet, keep in mind that Kenya is a touristic destination, so in the parks we sometimes felt hard to find ourselves in the middle of nowhere enjoying the moment : so many Land Cruisers and vans around the Lions !

Regarding the security, we felt safe everywhere, in particular in Nairobi where the hotels are equipped with high end security equipment...

Canoe (mokoro) trip into the Okavango Delta is a mandatory experience in a visit to Botswana. Even with not-so-good weather as we had (light showers, cloudy sky) it is still an experience like no other. Close contact with nothing but nature - sounds, smells and sights. No motors, no blabbing tourists, very, very relaxing!
Accomodation in Maun was OK, and we were sorry that a fly-in safari to a luxury lodge inside the Park was out of our budget-range (but it must be stunning!).

Jambo... from Africa
5/5

Jambo from Africa.... After a luxurious transfer (1 driver and 1 guide!!!!!) we arrived satiesfied on Zanzibar. The Blue Oyster is a little paradise, and we really felt well here. The clocks go quite slow, but we already noticed that during our 10 days of safari.

We had an amazing safari with a wonderful guide, which guided us through 1600 km of phenomenal landscape and animals kingdom. We saw all the Big 5 even though the last missing one was spotted from quite far away at Ngorongoro Crater... the Rhino - but it was there! The accommodations were wonderful in all their difference, best of them the Kati Kati and the Tingitana Tented Camp in "splendid isolation" - only the two of us allone in the second night. On our first morning, the giraffes welcomed us in near distance, on the second morning the zebras. Really impressing!

Even though the routes weren't comfortable all the time, the higher north of Serengeti with its complete different landscapes really impressed us. We even were lucky enough to experience two crossings over the Mara River, and the guide told us that you'lll never know where and when the crossings will take place.

A quiet drive with rhino and lion on the move.

Even though we had an inexperienced driver who got lost, we had a lovely day. But we saw a lot of animals on the savannah. Zebras, ostriches, antelopes, giraffes but also rhinoceros and a single lioness hunting. Female lion was suddenly on the road in front of our jeep. It was special to be Nairobi National Park with city skyline in the background. I would highly recommend people to visit the park.

They are surprisingly flexible for a small travel company! Also, quite knowledgeable of their trade, particularly on Kenyan culture, nature and leisure activities. Very resourceful and friendly staff who make you feel like family whilst on tour with them.

An oasis like atmosphere in the SA bush

I had an absolutely fantastic time at Tremisana! My group of friends, consisting of five of us, opted for the 5-day package, and the adventure began from the moment we were picked up at OR Tambo Airport. Our journey to the lodge, nestled in the Greater Kruger Park, spanned five hours and included a delightful lunch stop in Dullstroom, a charming spot. Another break at the J.G. Strijdom Tunnel allowed us to appreciate local art, although I recommend holding off on purchases due to limited time and higher prices – you can find better deals elsewhere in South Africa if time permits.

Upon our arrival at the lodge, we were warmly welcomed by Ntomi, the hospitality manager. Her graciousness and attention to our needs were truly remarkable. An evening game drive followed, led by two rangers who were competent, though not exceptional. The highlight of the night was the unforgettable Bush Braai (BBQ), where we enjoyed a delicious meal surrounded by the enchanting ambience of nature and stars.

On the second day, Ranger Luke guided us on a 4-hour Bush Walk, providing an incredible experience. Luke's extensive knowledge of the bush and its wildlife made the trek truly memorable. Later that day, we embarked on a sunset drive with Ranger Nadine, who demonstrated a keen attention to detail. The third day was an exhilarating full-day adventure in the Kruger Park with Ranger Smiley 'Halala Hakuna Matata', whose infectious enthusiasm added many "WOW" moments and plenty of laughter to our journey.

The fourth day brought another full day of exploration in the Kruger, and on the final day, we enjoyed an early morning drive before heading back to OR Tambo Airport. Throughout our stay, the food was not only wholesome but also authentically South African – a culinary delight that I thoroughly enjoyed.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire Tremisana Team for making our experience so incredible. The warmth and friendliness of everyone, coupled with the lodge's oasis-like atmosphere in the bush, created memories that will last a lifetime.
