Overall service provided by Travel Your African Dreams was great. I traveled along the garden route to the Addo Elephant Park with my guide Mackenzie Walker. I am still grateful he showed me many birds during road trips and the scenery was beautiful with the fynbos vegetation. Wildlife was active and foods were inexpensive. Hope more visitors will want to enjoy its beauty.

Professional, informative, helpful
5/5

Land and Lake Safaris did an excellent job of finding a safari to fit our family and our budget. We went to Mvuu Camp for 2 nights. We saw all the animals they offered with the exception of the rhino being preserved in the sanctuary (closed during rainy season). On our return, one of us became very ill with a bacterial infection. It has taken 2 hospital visits and more than 2 weeks to cover from the illness. I would strongly recommend that Land & Lakes encourage internationals to not drink the water deemed as filtered and safe by Mvuu Camp. They can bring their own water or buy bottled water instead. Thanks.

About: Uganda
Marvelous
Overall rating
5/5

The trip was fantastic. Uganda is marvelous, People are very friendly and the landscape is really spectacular. The experience with gorilas was amazing, something to do at least once in life. But the trekking with chimpanzees disappointed us, we did it in Queen Elizabeth and not in Kibale and the truth is that it was not worth. We didáctica everything with Home to África, and everything except trekking with chimpanzees were fantastic.

The highlight of our South Africa Trip, extraordinary!

Me and my wife stayed at Inyati Game Private Game Lodge for 3D2N. The lodge is located near Sabi Sand where chances of Leopards sighting is known to be high. It is next to a river where we could see elephants strolling near the water in the comfort of the lodge cafe. The rangers and staffs were friendly and make you feel safe although the place was quite open to wilderness where animals were free to roam the ground. Our open top safari Jeep was ideal for us as it was easy for me to turn my 300mm telephoto lens mounted on a monopod toward any directions. Lions, leopards, Cheetahs, Hippos, buffalos, Giraffes, were among some of the animals sighted. Daylight was bright so I could get sharp close up images even for amateur like me. Highlight of our safari was watching a family of cheetahs in action hunting on Kudos in a wide open plain. Definitely in my bucket lists to come back again!

About: Tanzania
Incredible people and country
Overall rating

We are a family of four (two almost adult kids) and it was our first visit to Tanzania. We first spent three days in Daressalam and visited the National museum and went to Slipway shopping center which is quite touristic but nevertheless a wonderful location next to the sea and worth a visit. What we really enjoyed is visiting the Village museum. Here you get an impression on how people traditionally life. It is a place with a lot of trees and green, we were also lucky to see very fine dance and theatre performances there. In any case don't miss a visit to the museums' restaurant - it is super!
The country is very lovely with huge national parks and wildlife. Through Safari Bookings we chose Smile with us tours for a five day safari to Mikumi National Park, Udzungwa Mountains and Nyerere National Park. These parks are not as popular as Serengeti, so for a lot of the time you are alone or just with very few other cars in the park. It was incredible well organized and people are friendly and helpful with nice accommodations and so tasty food.
After the safari we went to Zanzibar and spent 10 days there. We enjoyed very much to be in locally owned hotels and did do a lot of nice little trips on our own. It is not difficult to find a guide and driver who is showing you around. We did snorkeling, visited a spice farm, did go to different beaches and of course visited stone town, I recommend to spend at least three days for this beautiful and vibrant city.
Tanzania is a wonderful country doing a lot of things right. For example to ban plastic bags. They also do a great job with the national parks trying to preserve and protect nature. The country is save, it is easy to get around with English, as a tourist you feel very welcome. We loved it and I can recommend Tanzania 100%

Last minute trip organized to perfection
5/5

We read on the internet it would be better to wait until we arrive in Tanzania to book our tour as it could be considerably cheaper. Upon arrival, it was easy to find all these cheap companies trying to sell us their tours. Most of them didn't seem trustful at all. We decided to go to the hotel, rest a little bit and then search for a tour operator. We chose It Started in Africa as it comes highly recommended everywhere. We also contacted other top tour operators but the price was better with It Started in Africa and the answers were always prompt and professional. We are very glad because we had an amazing time in Tanzania, they organized our lodge safari with just 2 days notice, and all went smooth with a great car, guide and accommodation. Definitely an extremely reliable tour operator.

About: Tanzania
Very nice nature With variable animals
Overall rating
4/5

My expections came true in 7 day safari. The nature is beautiful and there are so Many animals. The safari was great but this january has been rainy. The rain and 3 nights camping was rough combination the lodge accomodation was ok. It has been rainy mornings, usually afternoon is not raining. Serengeti and Ngorongoro was great with do Many animals. Serengeti paths were muddy and in very poor conditions. Zanzibar is ok maybe I waited too much. The accomodations are good and not cheap. The food has been below my expectations. Overcooking has been the main problem with fish, seafood and even lobster has been overcooked. The food is ok but it could be much better. Lets see if We are lucky in the next days. This experience is after 7 days safari, one day in Arusha and 3 days in Zanzibar. Topy tours Jackson and Benedict have been highlight persons is Tanzania,Arusha. People are happy here and I feel safe in TZ. Overall good experience except food. The best food We got zaka tribe place very close that coffee lessions place and Materuni waterfalls.
