The safari was exciting and quite unusual for me. An experience to live at least once in one's life.
Globally nice, with kind and skillful people. About lunch boxes, I suggest to add a paper towel, and to vary the sort of juice, could be once apple, and the second day mango, or something else, and so one.

Warm country and people. It's a real pleasure to travel and stop there
We participated in a 6 day safari. Each destination brought great satisfaction and appropriate camps and places of rest and overnight stays.

Review about Pilanesberg Game Reserve by quineh
It is well situated not far from Johannesburg with very high standard accommodation all round the park. It is also situated not far from the Sun City complex which in its self is nice too visit for a stop over.

Amazing people, stunning wildlife and nature
We had a great time in SA, most of which we spent in Capetown. The people are great, the food is good and the possibilities are endless. For our trip to the Kruger national park we went for an all inclusive tour with Viva safaris and had the most amazing time. Accomodations and food were good, the tour was well organized and the guides were knowledgeable, fun and incredible at spotting animals. Would recommend 10/10.

Review about Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve by quineh
This park is well situated in the province of Kwa Zulu Natal with beautiful scenery. The park rangers are excellent as well as all the other staff. The game is in abundance, good for photography as well as the game viewer.

Magnificent
We have planned 5 days of safari and 2 days in Nairobi - which turned out to be a great plan for our family. Our daughter is 8 years old so she felt comfortable travelling for extended hours in the car and also getting to know a lot of new information. For families with smaller kids I would suggest to reduce the safari time as it can be quite tiring.
We have been amazed first of all with the fresh air and cleanliness of Kenya (compared to the West Africa where we have been before coming to Kenya). The city is very vivid, travelers would find any type of cuisine and a very warm welcome from local people.
A separate blast of emotions was caused by the safari itself. It has been a dream to walk next to giraffes and watch the lioness eating her prey from the car. We were lucky to see the 4 out of the Big 5 (leopards were quite shy those days and hid from us). For those people who saw Africa on National geographic and Discovery channels - that's the picture from your TV!
All of the places where we stayed (we chose a medium level of comfort) had clean and nice bedrooms, tasty food and good wi-fi.
I haven't noticed too many mosquitos or any other type of insects that might make you feel uncomfortable.
I definitely recommend going to Kenya - now it became visa-free, so even more reachable.
Before coming to Kenya I read that your impression and safari success heavily depends on the guide, we were very lucky to Guideon from Meektrails Safaris as our reliable and caring guide, overall level of organization was very high and I would also recommend this tour operator.

Absolutely fantastic, very exciting and interesting.
Wildlife is plentiful and in good condition, the weather is lovely and warm. The accommodation and food was of a very high standard catering for all cultures and people. Transportation is very well organized catering for the persons who just want to view the wildlife as well as for the photographer such as myself. The game guides are well spoken and really now what they are doing. The other highlights are the restaurants that have been refurbished and planned for the visitor's needs, so are the curio shops in the park.

Breathtaking Nature
The Kruger national park is like no other place in the world. Its different watching wildlife animals vs animals in a zoo. Barney from Wildlife Safaris did a really good job bringing us around and spotting the animals to direct our attention in their way. I still don't know how he does it so well, but he was a park ranger before so I am sure that helps. Oddly, the period I went 26-31 Dec had a lot of rain so I am sure there would have been more animals to spot if not for the unpredictable weather.

Guides, wildlife, food=ALL GOOD
I have been in southern/eastern Africa before, but this 3+ week safari exceeded my expectations. Brian and Jerry were excellent people-persons, great 'eyes' for wildlife and thoroughly enhanced the entire safari. The food was excellent, varied and plentiful. Brian's camps and staff were superlative throughout. The Parks selected offered a wonderful variety of animals/birds/terrain and it was a great time of the year to be in Tanzania.
As much as I'd like to complain about some aspect of the safari - I can't!! If you have any doubts - sign up and GO!

For a Malagasy that come from a tropical biodiversity hotspot, Kruger was an amazing experience.
My dream to observe the big 5 became a reality.
