I did a hiking trip to Mt Kenya with Hyrax Safaris. The communication went very well and the prices were competitive based on my research. Memories to last a lifetime
I have been planning our trip to Africa for approx 1 year and Calah has been absolutely amazing with her communication on behalf of insight safari. We found the whole service that Insight supplied to be AMAZING from accommodation choices to the actual tours that they organised on our behalf. We chose the 5 day Gorilla and Chimp Trek trip with a few custom edits. Day 1 - Our Guide Ayub picked us up ON TIME and even waited for us to finish our breakfast before the long drive to the West of the country with our day ending in an amazing Lodge that was owned and operated by the local community meaning EVERY CENT of the money spent there went back into the community and not into some rich mans pocket. We were lucky enough to stay here 2 nights and we shared the place with only 1 other family. Day 2 was Gorilla Trekking and bo this was just magical. Day 3 we transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Insight organised a PRIVATE cruise along the Kazinga channel which contains the largest population of Hippos in Uganda and even in Africa. Day 4 started with a Safari game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park (once again this was a private tour with our own Ranger from Uganda wildlife) Day 5 was Chimpanzee Trekking and this was also an amazing experience however this is not for the unfit. As a larger person I found this to be quite challenging. Unfortunately this brings us to the end of the trip with Insight and it was time to go home... :(

Excellent tour from beginning to end!
We have always wanted to do the Gorilla Tracking so when we did a research as to how to go about it, that's when my husband came across with Insight Safari Holidays. He contacted the company and they were really helpful in helping as plan for the trip. Initially, we only wanted to do the Gorillas but then decided we might as well explore other areas like Queen Elizabeth National Park and do the chimpanzee tracking as well, so they help us out with the planning, the choosing of accomodations and based on what we wanted to do , they curated a well organized itinerary. They are very easy to deal with and very helpful. So when we arrived in Uganda , we got picked up by our tour guide Ayub, which is one of the best tour guide that we have ever met and he took good care of us for the 5 days trip that we are booked with them. He did everything, he was a very good driver and very knowledgeable about the places we are going, about animals and about the entire country of Uganda. We had a very memorable trip, 5 days was very short but we were able to do what we wanted to do, and that is to visit the Mountain Gorillas and the chimpanzees and other animals were just a bonus. So if anyone wants to visit Uganda and get the same experience as we did, reach out to Insight Safaris , we dealt we Calah which was very helpful and plan your trip with their help. The Serengeti is truly amazing!
We customized the itinerary ourselves, two nights in the northern Serengeti, one night in the central Serengeti, one night in Ngorongoro, and one night outside Tarangire. The accommodation conditions are really limited in the north, but the others are good. As far as the park is concerned, it is really a bit tasteless to see the other two parks after the Serengeti. So I recommend that you only play Serengeti for a longer time. You can add a lake in the flamingo season. The travel company is very good and almost agreed to all our requests. Amazing trip and reliable guide !
There were four of us, and we booked a 6-day, 5-night safari trip with Hassan. Hassan was responsible for our pre-booking communication, and he successfully helped us reserve the hotels we wanted to stay at, as well as the flights from Zanzibar to the northern part of Serengeti during the National Day holiday. The entire trip consisted of hotels we had previously confirmed, with no last-minute changes, which made us very satisfied. We were a bit disappointed to find out that Hassan was not our guide on the day we arrived. However, our new guide, Eddy, quickly proved himself with his capabilities. On the first day, we witnessed the wildebeest crossing the river in the northern Serengeti. Subsequently, we also saw the rare sight of a cheetah hunt and a female lion resting by our vehicle after a meal. We saw all of the Big Five, and Eddy was very experienced. Unbelievable experience!
We have booked 6 days tour to Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. This trip has exceeded all our expectations. Jeep, Guide, Accommodations and the group everything was just perfect!
First two night we were staying in in Lenchada camp in Masai Mara, tents were spacious, bathroom facilities were in each tent. Given the very remote location we were very surprised that we could take hot shower and also the food was great.
Third night we were staying in very nice hotel with rooftop bar, service here was great too!
Last two night we were just outside of Amboseli park in Camp called Manjaro tented. I need to say that this is the best camp I have ever been to! They do amazing job, it was even really hard to say goodbye and we only stayed 2 nights. Food was excellent, rooms were beautiful and the sunrise with Mt. Kilimanjaro was breathtaking. Thank you to Henry and his team for this exceptional service.
The whole trip has been organized really well and we were in really good hands of Kikitu and James. Our guides knew so much about all the animals that we have seen, they got us some fruites and corn from the local seller. They also did for us much more than what we would usually expect from a good guide. It is also incredible to see someone so passionate about the animals even though they are coming to those parks so often. Very positive and funny even at 5:30 in the morning when you start your morning game drive.
We have decided to book with Jocky tours because they had so many good reviews, and I'm glad to be the one who is writing next 5 star review because they really deserve them. Thank you again for making our Kenyan trip unforgettable!

I can only say that this was an experience of a lifetime.
The company were very good and even helped us with a transfer to Mombasa at the end four 6 day safari, they don’t tell you how long you will spend in vehicles and I’m glad, it’s a lot and it might put some people off, don’t let it! The food has been good and not so good but nothing awful so that’s ok in my book.
The whole thing is worth it I promise. By far the best bit apart from the animals was our guide Moses we felt so safe with him behind the wheel and his knack of finding the animals was amazing. He was definitely king of the guides in my opinion, not chatty but full of great info and very funny. I feel like I will miss him lol. If you get a chance do this trip.

This safari was amazing! The hotel was lovely and we got to see 15 new animals I’ve never seen (coming from Sweden). The operator was easy to get ahold of for asking questions and our tour guide was best!
