Magical country
We visited Tanzania in November 2023. We purchased a 5-day safari. We started in Lake Manyara, continued to the Serengeti and ended in Ngorongoro. I must say that Tanzania exceeded all my expectations. We have seen an incredible great migration. Hundreds and hundreds of zebras and wildebeests, every day and always in a different place. We saw a cheetah a few times and were lucky enough to see a leopard. Elephants were literally at every step. Herds consisting of tens of members. Unbelievable beauty. My partner and I like big animals, so our guide focused on lions. We must have seen more than 50 of them. For example, there are 5 packs living in Ngorongoro and we saw 3 of them. Hippos, giraffes, impalas, etc. It was simply a fairy tale. At first I wasn't excited about a day at Lake Manyara, but this park was also exceptional. Different from the Serengeti and I'm thankful we visited it. The people in Tanzania were incredibly kind and humble. They wanted to help us with everything and were grateful that we chose Tanzania for our vacation. Maasai children standing by the roadside herding goats and cows. Some of them were begging for food. That made us sad. It's a shame we didn't have a bigger supply so we could give something to everyone.
I can only recommend our agency Soul of Tanzania with guide Arnoldi. Everything went according to plan and we had really first class care. Arnoldi tried to fulfill our every wish. If you go to Tanzania or Africa next time, definitely with them. Thank you so much for a great experience from start to finish!

Review about Chobe National Park by Aaron_PM
With an experienced guide and camping in the park, we had immediate access to the animals and scenery immediately.

Amazing experience!
My husband, George, and I have wanted to do a safari for some time. I met Jessy, the owner of Naenda Safaris, on a prior trip to Tanzania so looked forward to the safari. From the beginning they personalized the safari based on the schedule we had available. We were able to do a 3 day / 2 night safari seeing Tarangire National Park, an overview of the Ngorogoro crater and then 2 days at the Serengeti. We saw 4 of the big 5 (didn't see the rhinos) plus many others. We got very close to elephants, giraffe and zebra in Tarangire and saw up close 2 male Lions and their pride of 8 females and young ones in the Serengeti. Wildebeast, Zebra, Ostrich, Gazelle's, giraffe, hippo's, cheetah, leopard, hyenas, water buffalo, mongoose, elan, topi, stork, jackal, dik dik, ..... It is amazing to see all this wildlife up close and in their natural environment and the positive, friendly attitude and knowledge of our guide Jessy throughout the trip made for a wonderful trip overall. The lodging both nights was comfortable!

Eye opening
The 5 day private safari for 4 at the Kruger National Park was awesome. Not only did we see a large variety of animals in their natural environment, we were also very fortunate to have had Shoes Mathebula from Khalanga Safaris as our guide because he pointed out and explained many aspects of animal behaviour to us, which enriched the whole experience. Besides that he also prepared ‘local’ meals for us which we enjoyed and the accommodations in the parks were very comfortable . Having never been on safari before, we did not know what to expect but we came away rating the Kruger safari as one of our best holiday trips. Besides the safari, we also spent 3 days in Cape Town which was not enough to appreciate what it had to offer. Having been warned about security issues, we were careful and attentive and did not have any problems during our self drive around the scenic costal route . Our stay at the V&A waterfront was exceptional for the ambience and proximity to food and shopping. I would recommend South African as a holiday destination.

Not the Africa I was expecting. Awesomely suprised.
The Okavango Delta was a location that we had heard a lot about, but had seen little of. So when we decided to head to Botswana, we put the Delta on our must do list. Was one of the best decisions we made.
From the flight from Kasane airport into the campgrounds, to the drive from the bush runway to our tented site it was spectacular. Three days of seeing all types of animals, Lions and Leopards, to Elephants and Painted Dogs.
I would highly recommend the Delta to anyone who wants to experience ALL of Africa. Also, with the introduction of Rhinos, you can't go wrong!

Professional, personable, and perfect!
We were picked up at our door, bright and early (and right on time), by our guide, Ingrid. She was incredibly personable, and made the hour+ trip to the park go by quickly as she filled in the areas we drove through with history of the region, and changes that had taken place through the years.
Once in the park is where her knowledge really shined, as she was able to identify all the plan and wildlife, giving really awesome descriptions, and little known facts which made each and every thin within the park come alive! She consistently made sure we were comfortable, she wasn't rushing and to let her know if we wanted to stop (or simply pause) to look at things. She kept us off the beaten path as often as she could within our time constraints, and I'm convinced that this helped us to see things we might not have caught otherwise. Her knowledge of the park was great!
She also made sure we didn't go hungry or thirsty! Not only was lunch within the park included, but a mid-morning snack as well (at one of the blinds), which was a really pleasant surprise! You could tell she was absolutely passionate for what she does, and it made for an excellent experience! I would highly recommend this tour! (she also took pics of my girlfriend and I, which she forwarded to us afterward... like I said, the little things!)
Thanks again for a wonderful time!

Uganda has absolutely beautiful scenery and people.
Uganda was awesome. The natural beauty is stunning. The camps we stayed at were comfortable, clean, in great locations, and the staff wonderful. We felt safe at all times due to the diligence of our guide/driver (Vianny from Home to Africa) and the additional guides. In regard to highlights, the landscape was the hit for us, of course the wildlife, including birds, was amazing, but just the natural beauty was our favorite. Even though we were traveling at the end of the short rainy season, our weather was terrific, with only rain during the day for short periods or at night. The previous rain did make for interesting road conditions at times, but really that just added to the adventure. Honestly, we did not have much interaction with local people outside of the camps, but when we did, they were gracious and kind. We would love to return to Uganda and spend more time, 7 days is not enough to fully appreciate such a marvelous country and people.

High water levels have caused the flamingos to leave. This is not worth visiting at present.
High lake levels for the past 2 years have caused the flamingos to leave. Waterbuck, zebra, baboon, and other common wildlife remain, but don't go expecting to see the flamingo flock.

Review about Moremi Game Reserve by gfin
We just did one evening river trip into Moremi, out of Little Kwara lodge. The birding was good and the sense of wetland wilderness was very strong. We had a dramatic hippo encounter there.

Beautiful scenery! Friendly people!
We had a short safari with our 5 year old boy who loves animals but easily gets carsick. For us the relatively short trip to as Nyerere National Park was perfect. We saw lots of animals. And enjoyed the swimming pool in the evenings at Selous Safari Lodge.
Then we had one week in beautiful Zanzibar.
Everywhere people were friendly and hospitable.
Our contact, Salumu from Uwanda Tours And Safaris, was very helpful in every way!
We will definitely go back to Tanzania.
