Excellent variety and quantity of wildlife.

We used lodges varying from primitive and rustic to 4-star class. A guided kayak trip out of Maun was based in ordinary 2-person tents. The Footsteps lodge was cabin-sized tents with plumbing, but the Little Kwara lodge was much better appointed. The food at both lodges was very good. The guided game drives produced many great close-up wildlife sightings and the guides were usually well trained and very friendly. Our weather in May was unusually cool, getting down to near freezing some nights. The days were comfortable, but the temps for dawn game drives required a jacket on top of a sweater. The clothes that we took were not quite warm enough for comfort in these conditions. The upside of the low temperatures was that we had no trouble at all with bugs.
Our favorite memories came from dawn and sunset game-tracking walks with the local native guide on our kayak trip north of Maun.

Memorable experience to celebrate 60th birthday. Great support provided by Ms Filipa Melo in customizing the Safari offered by Spirit of Kenya to our taste. Our guides Mr. Moses and Mr Charles were knowledgeable and friendly. The Itenary was great however, we would have preferred the wildlife walk through the Island on Lake Naivasha instead of just a boat ride round it. It would have been nice to have had that option.
Lots to see at the various parks, we managed to see the BIG 5, the only elusive animal was the leopard; hippos we saw at a distance (good cos they can be dangerous).
The lodges and camps were mostly clean, all well laid out, friendly staff, mosquito nets and sprays provided, always felt safe.
From catering point of view, we were never hungry for long! Managed to cater for our lactose- and gluten-free needs
No problems with the minivan which picked us up from the airport and visited Nairobi tourist sites. Land cruiser was generally clean but leaked when it rained heavily. Otherwise in good condition. Bottled water provided every day.
Overall 5* Safari experience

Small park but lots of animals to see - antelope and monkeys in particular on my visit. Across the road is the spectacular Valley of Desolation ... Breathtaking views of Graaff-Reinet from the top. Have been to this park twice ... Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Great camping facilities too.

I am a regular visitor to Addo National Elephant Park. Every time I go, I see something different. Elephant, antelope, meerkats, birds, tortoises, zebra etc. Highly enjoyable, and driving through yourself gives you an opportunity to stop and appreciate the things that you choose. Guided tours on a safari vehicle can be purchased, guaranteeing sighting of elephants. Chalets and camping facilities are available, and the shop/restaurant cater for all needs from tourist gifts to clothing, food and drink. There is an on-site petrol station too, so fill up your tank before driving through and enjoying the spectacular wide open spaces, the natural bush habitat and the magnificent animals that live there.

Visiting South Africa was a majestic and memorable experience.

Safari With Us created a 7 day itinerary for our stay in South Africa that included everything from transfers, accommodation, meals game drives and tours. South Africa is a beautiful country and the people we met were just as beautiful. We were blessed to see all of the big 5 up close during game drives at Kruger National Park. We also got to enjoy the diverse country with a knowledgeable tour guide and spectacular views along the panoramic route. If you get the opportunity to visit South Africa it is something you will remember for a life time.

About: Tanzania
Unforgettable travel experience
Overall rating
5/5

We embarked on a 9-day private safari with Safari Soles, and it was an unforgettable experience. The itinerary seamlessly blended cultural insights into local life in Tanzania with the wildlife encounters we had envisioned in our dreams. From the majestic elephants and leopards nestled in the trees of Tarangire to the captivating night game drives at Lake Manyara and the vast expanses of the Serengeti, each leg of the journey was a breathtaking adventure. Our drivers, Alli and Omar, demonstrated exceptional experience, skillfully spotting every creature we had imagined with great sensitivity. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone!

In between, the Wildlife Experience was further enriched by cultural bike and walking tours, providing us with a profound understanding of local life. Undoubtedly, this was a vacation that will linger in our memories for the rest of our lives.

Amazing service &amazing trip
5/5

The service received from Rose at the Luxury Safari Company was absolutely brilliant. Really useful advice was given in the initial email communications. Also really useful literature was sent when booking was made and also prior to the trip. The trip to Nottens Bush Camp was fantastic. If you are at all interested in seeing animals in their natural environment this is without doubt the place to be and the people to see it with. Could not find any fault with the operator or the safari itself. I am so glad I found Rose through a review I read on trip advisor. Transfer from the airport, accommodation, facilities & service were all first class and all at a decent price.
