I am a professional photographer and an artist. It had been in my bucket list to get an opportunity to travel to Africa so that I can feel my catalogue with the Motherland. I was also looking forward to express my experience in Africa through my art gallery then later on I’d have an exhibition on the same. That being said, I was on a tight budget. I travelled with inspired feet safaris on a 14 days expedition to Kenya and Tanzania. I was very impressed by their services from the moment I landed In Kenya at 3:45 AM ; the driver was waiting for me at the airport. He took me to my hotel. He was going to come for me the next day so that I can explore the city and the day after, I’d start my safari. Honestly I wish I had more time in Maasai Mara & Serengeti. I took thousands of photos but every day it felt like I was experiencing it all for the first time hence giving euphoria. I saw the big five animals and that experience alone is enough to fill my art gallery. I really enjoyed myself and I promised myself that I’d redo this all over again when I definitely acquire freedom of time. Africa is so beautiful. I took the balloon safari and afterwards there was champagne bush breakfast literally. It was beyond amazing. The wildlife shows don’t do Africa and its countries justice. Serengeti was the highlight of my trip. OH, I also had an exquisite view of mount kilimanjaro. I bought a few souvenirs; got a company merchandise as well and that was so thoughtful of this company. I highly recommend this company especially if you would like to get value for money and enjoy yourself while at it. Also, if you are a photographer; this company has a good reputation and Fiona outdid herself. She was very knowledgeable and warm. I highly recommended traveling to Kenya & Tanzania with inspired feet safaris. They will deliver more than what you have envisioned for your Kenia safari.

About: Tanzania
Exceeded our expectation
Overall rating
5/5

We booked with Shemeji Safari a private 6-day tour. It exceeded our expectation. We booked an additional day to Lake Natron, where we we're assigned an experienced private Masaii who took us to a remote waterfall and next morning very close to the flamingos. All was perfectly organized by Lisa. No hidden fees whatsoever. We could pay within Europe by money Transfer, no 3-5% VISA charge. Safari is Safari in Tansania, teeming wildlife, bumpy roads. So be prepared for a challenge in the Landcruiser. The driver/guide called it African massage. Do it private. Pay more but it makes a big difference. No consensus finding in a group, just tell the driver to head for the lodge a bit earlier to relax, he will do and he might also go the extra offroad mile for you in the Wilderness... We paid in the end good tip, more than the recommended 15 to 20 USD per day. Well deserved. For the frugalists: No obligation to tip. But then, why pay for a Safari in the first place...Enjoy, for us it was a lifetime experience. Add the Hot Air Balloon Trip in the Serengeti at sunrise, gliding over Rhinos... Unforgettable. Lisa booked it for us on short notice and blended it perfectly into our tour. 1200 USD for two. We stayed in lodges of all kind, some more luxurious than others but everywhere good breakfast lunch boxes not so lavish, diner always delicious. Drinks apart from water and tea need to be paid. European prices. Will book again through this company.

A big highlight to be amongst the Mountain Gorillas, hard walking at times (steep, slippery) but then to see the amazing Gorillas up close made all the uphill work worth every step.

It was well organised with spectacular scenery, especially approaching Murchison Falls.

The boat ride to the falls skirts the river edge where an abundance of birds, crocs, hippos, lizards, buffalo and warthogs inhabit the shore. As we approached the Falls the experienced boat captain moved the craft into different positions for better photos. We opted to leave the boat here and trekked the last few kilometres to the top of the falls. This is a must if you are reasonably fit because it provides the best views of Murchison Falls. At the top of the falls we were met by our fantastic driver who then drove us back to our camp. An exhilarating day with out a doubt and highly recommended.
