An excellent way to experience Kenya and Tanzania on a budget
4/5

There was always a driver or guide waiting to pick us up at each airport. This is very important for feeling safe and secure in a foriegn country. The Safari and guides were fantastic doing everything they could to ensure that we stayed on schedule and saw everything! It is a very bumpy but fun and priceless experience to drive to each of the parks in a safari van! The lodges were all beautiful and top notch with lots of lovely staff to meet all of our needs. Restaurant services were excellent at all the lodges and most provided boxed lunches for all day game drives. My least favorite lodge was the 67 Airport motel, mostly due to it's unimpressive scenery and poorly designed and built rooms/bathrooms. However the overall look of the hotel and the hotel staff and restaurants were lovely, plus it was very secure and close to the airport. There were a couple of scheduling snafus on the part of Kenya Walking. This involved a hot air ballon ride being delayed for an entire day that resulted in us the next day having to drive all day non-stop and arriving at our one night stay at the next lodge late at night. It was a beautiful lodge and we should have had the day to relax and enjoy it, but that didn't happen. The other complaint was having to wait 3 hours at the gateway to the Serengeti due to non recipt of payment for our entry from Kenya Walking...However Kenya Walking more than made up for inconviences by providing us with some other unplanned wonderful tours free of any additional charge. Overall, they are a great tour company and I would reccomend to anybody. The only reason I would not give 5 stars is because of the hot air balloon scheduling problem that set us back a day. It would have had to have been flawless for 5 stars.

Animalsss
4/5

3 day safari with good food and a beautiful camping to make it complete. We went to Tarangire and the Ngorongoro crater. Expect a lot of animals and nice views. The guides know what they are doing and will make sure you will see enough. Just let your eyes do the work and you will have an amazing time!!

Amazing experience
4/5

It's my first safari. I visited Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Serengeti is amazing, migration of 2 millions wildebeest is unforgettable, should spend more days in Serengeti camp. Special thanks go to Ally and Nars for organising my itinerary, hotel pick up on time to start my journey. I joined group of 6 people from different countries. Our guide Adul is qualified. He loves animals and Serengeti. The cook is ok. Food was quite dry, food in lunch box was not hot, but dinner was ok. After safari, the company arranged hotel in Arusha and car transfer to Kilimanjaro airport. Very well-arranged. I will definitely recommend for others to use Moorlands safari as their tour organizer for good quote and well arranged safari.

Great Safari with Karibu!
4/5

Thanks Karibu Safari for great organsation, kind and quick answers - thats why we chose them because of professional comunication! Also because they were helpful about our final destination to finish not in Nairobi, but Mombasa and they aranged for free that Luxury public bus pick up us in Emaly and get to Mombasa.

We were 5 in a car and that was OK. We really enjoy safari itself, despite of long distance driving between the parks.
Our driver Aron is the Best and very experienced guide! Because of comunication, knowledges, attention to everyone and humor.

Camps was OK, food - tourism standart. Animals were fantastic - we enjoy watching them, but may be it is better to came in season during migration period - July to November, however there will be 10 times more tourists too. We manage to see all BIG 5 !

Thanks KARIBU Safari

nice and practicle for familly
4/5

safari very well organized, nothing to predict more, everything is included
the tents are large, the simple campsites with showers, the meals made by our cook served at the table ...

I could recommend a different visit near lake Manyara because this safari is less interesting because the forest is dense ... why not go pedaling, or visit the maasai market ... outside the park, go for once to the meeting of inhabitants but always accompanied!

Stanley was a Kilimandjaro guide, and now, he is a driver guide with very skills for observing and finding animals !

Richard gives one car for a familly, only familly, he does'nt add an other person ! just us !
... we had a big 6 places toyota land cruiser ... anley is a very good driver guide !

The compagny deserves to be known, a good and experimented place for travel in Tanzania.

I recommand
