Once a lifetime experience
4/5

When we arrived, our guide Alex and the boss took us to buy communication card sim and took care to stay with us while buying all we need. We have booked the 5 days private Safari in Lodges with all the parcs Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Manyara. The hotels booked by the Safari agency were great, especially the Eileen’s Tree Inn and the Serengeti Heritage Luxury Hôtel.
Alex was a great guide, he did his best for us to see amazing animals. He was respectful of the rules of the parcs, and was a good driver, we felt safe with him taking the wheel.
The only negative point was the lunch boxes that were very basics, cold, and with the same chicken as every day. It’s too bad that we weren’t asked to choose the range of lunch boxe we wanted, as we saw other groups having fresh prepared hot meals.
However the experience was perfect, the 4 parcs are all different from one another, so I advise everyone to do the complete 4 parcs.

Once in a lifetime trip!!
5/5

My partner and I booked an 11 day tour with Bujo Safaris starting on the 3rd of September 2022. The plan was to leave from Kampala and visit many of Uganda’s attractions: Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth NP, Kibale NP, Bwindi NP, Lake Mburo NP, Lake Bunyonyi, and more. What can I say? Everything went perfectly according to plan and this tour has exceeded our expectations! Johnson is an excellent driver and has always made sure that we were taken care of and that we would not miss any of our activities. You can tell that nothing made him happier than seeing us being mindblown by Uganda’s incredibly beautiful nature, animals and people. When we had small mechanical issues, he reacted very quickly to find suitable solutions while the car was being fixed so that it wouldn’t delay our trip.
Would highly recommend Bujo Safaris to anyone going to Uganda in the blink of an eye!

Excellent and efficient as usual
5/5

I always book my African travels via SafariWithUs. This was already my 6th travel with this company (2017, 2018, 2019, and 2 times in 2022) - South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Tanzania. Andre and team are extremely efficient, friendly and responsive. This last time they arranged for us stay in Umkumbe Bush lodge in Sabie Sands and this was a great experience. The rates are quite reasonable and SafariWithUs accommodates all your needs. I, personally, plan to book with them at least two African trips next year.

Great for Kenya, do not take them for Tanzania
4/5

Joseph at Parrot Safaris is a tour organiser that matches passengers to drivers, locations and experiences, and he is quite efficient at it in Kenya. He sent a pick-up for me at the airport, explained the Kenyan part of the trip in his office, and then sent me off with the great driver, Stanley on an excellent six-day safari in Kenya, that was supposed to be followed by a similarly excellent safari in Tanzania.

Unfortunately, Joseph doesn't seem to have a good network in Tanzania and relies on a local partner, Seven Wonders Safaris, with whom the information exchange is not great and who clearly have capacity and organisational issues. Starting on the first day when the shuttle from the border (2.5 hours late) left me at the bus station at Arusha where there was no transportation to my hotel (the Tanzanians blamed the Kenyans for not getting my arrival information, and they did not bother to ask for it), and the company representative was not waiting for me at my hotel as they were supposed to. From there the trip got a bit improvisational as things were organised with about a 12-hour forward look with freelancers doing the pre-arranged itinerary somewhat in reverse and mixing up many of the camp sites. I got a driver for the first day, who then made me get up at 6:30 to say goodbye and wait until 10 for the next driver (scheduled to arrive at 9 or even before) who was supposed to take me on a full-day game drive in Lake Manyara. Well we got about half a day, which I got to enjoy from the navigator's seat as the car was overfilled, and we had to come back at around 3pm to drop of two passengers on their way to the airport and to go back to camp to take my luggage to another camp (as the drivers did not know in the morning that I would be changing camps by the evening) - I got a feeling that the animals were hiding in the hot mid-day period and we effectively missed most of what could be seen. From the third day on the group staid together, but instead of a branded 7 Wonders car we got a freelancer with a broken radio, broken binocular and broken charging outlets (which was a pity given that this part of the trip was in camps without electricity for the next 2 nights). On the last day, we dropped a couple off in a camp, but again the driver could not tell them who would pick them up the next day and at what time... Finally, on my way home, I was supposed to be taken by a shuttle to Nairobi, but instead it was a private car, that waited 2,5 hours after my pick-up for other passengers and luggage. In all this, Joseph had no useful information on what was going on and he could get nothing out of his Tanzanian partners either. While in the end I was never in any danger (apart from being scammed by a taxi driver on the first day) and the elements of the itinerary were mostly ticked off, as Joseph's role is a facilitator of worry-free smooth experiences, I would not recommend his services for Tanzania. Indeed, in general, it might be a better idea to book the two different country safaris with local operators in each country to avoid these communication issues.

As regards the safari, the best experiences are where one can get close to nature and thus bycicling among animals in Hell's Gate in Kenya, and sleeping among zebras with visiting elephants and lions in Serengeti and Ngorongo in Tanzania were definite highlights.

In conclusion, Joseph was a good communicator and organiser for the Kenya part and his information was mostly accurate (he did claim that I would stay in the same group for the whole trip, and he did miss out in listing a number of optional paid activities, or that there would be cook expecting tips in Tanzania on top of the driver/guide that is expected). The driver for Kenya, Stanley was also excellent and while not given the best equipment, our third driver in Tanzania, Godfrey was also very good.

Excellent recommendations. Fabulous service and support.
5/5

We have used Taku from Falcon Safaris before for last minute trip bookings, and didn't hesitate to use him again. Some people plan and book their big African adventures a year or so in advance. I messaged Taku a week before we were going to leave 5 country overlanding roadtrip and started the process! No problem for him. He understood how we work and went above and beyond to make things work and ensure our trip was a success. I felt he was with us along the whole trip- I was in constant what app communication with him, and for 5 weeks of bookings, he was there for us. We stayed in some incredible places and we all loved every one of the different experiences. 2 of us were camping and then we also needed Accom in the same place for my mum so that was sometimes a challenge finding places that were nice for both camping + lodge/tent/chalet. But he succeeded every time. There was only one establishment that we didn't love, and he swiftly moved us out of there, got us into an incredible replacement and even got us a refund for the first one. (nothing wrong with the first one, but my mum didn't like the room!) all worked out well though.
I would be delighted to book another trip with him and Falcon- and have no hesitation of recommending their services.

Best safari ever! We just loved it!
5/5

As students with low budget we were not sure if we should really invest the money - retrospectively it was the best decision we could have made! We were warmly welcomed at the airport und felt so safe an well looked-after all the time we were extremely sad when we had to leave. All in all, there is not a single thing to criticize, everthing went smoothly and our expectations were exceeded. The food was fantastic (and a lot), and our guide tried really hard to show us the big five (which he managed thanks to his experience in finding the best spots and his sharp eyes). We learned so much, not only about the animals but also about the country and culture. Our guide was very competent, fluent in german and very nice- we will definetely try to come back!

Knowledgeable, patient and very proud man of Uganda
5/5

My experience was amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dalson, our guide through Uganda was awesome and so knowledgeable! Anything we needed he helped us with and he was very reliable!
Every place we stayed at while traveling through Uganda was unique and special in its own way. The food was delicious and the service was great!
We got to see so many amazing animals, we saw the most powerful waterfall in the world, and we even got to go whitewater rafting down the nile river.
When we started our journey in Uganda Dalson stated "we will meet as strangers and by the end we will be the best of friends!"
That statement could not be any truer.

We had an awesome safari. Our driver Graham was top notch and very patient and helpful. The game drives were fun with Graham
The hotel staff was amazing at their customer service. I will single out Mr. SHAKE. The best human being at the Taita Hills Lodge. God bless him
We had a small hitch regarding the allocated rooms but the issue was quickly resolved.
Looking forward to another safari hopefully with Graham

Awesome services to Mt Kenya
5/5

Bonfire Adventures made my ascent of Mt.Kenya such a memorable experience. They took through Sirimon gate at the base of the mount Kenya where I began the 4day ascent and descent with the most accommodating and knowledgeable team of guide, porter and cook. I could not have done it without them. Request Samson if you do book with them, he’ll get you through slowly by slowly and comfortably.
