Me and my friend worked as volunteers in the Moshi area. This trip was a great break in our everyday life and it was incredibly beautiful! In the middle of nowhere this amazing oasis appears with the most vibrant turquoise colours (the pictures don't lie!). The trip was well organised and everything was taken care of for us. We are very happy we had a chance to travel before two months of lockdown, the safari went very well and we enjoyed the beginning of the calving season. Our guide had loads of experience and was good at sharing with us his knowledgeable of the wildlife. Throughout the booking, the company was very helpful in explaining different levels of safari, accomodation and comfort.
I was very inquisitive and I got clarifications, the owner attended us personally and explained every little details we asked of and his guides and cooks are very hard working. They made me and my husband enjoy our safari and we were treated with utmost kindness and shown their beautiful country and experience their culture. They organised visit to local villages and we engaged with the locals, such a good experience and would highly recommend. Advise for fellow travels is that don't chose economy safari but expects luxury safari service. The company offered us three choices and we chose luxury safari which meant we stayed in 4star hotels with high security and modern facilities as opposed to camping in tents.

Private Camp Safari in Tanzania
Last year in November we booked a trip with Migration Venture Africa to North Tanzania parks circuit. We had Anderson as our guide, he is very experienced and jovial man. He went over and beyond to give us an amazing gaming experience full of beautiful wild life sights. For the 5 days we were with him we saw all the big 5 and every other animal including birds found in the parks of Tanzania. The camping option was a great way to get the real jungle vibe given we slept and ate very well, the only difference from a lodge is the lack of crowds, so it was more intimate.
We are happy to say the Migration Venture Africa surpassed all our expectations in every way possible.

The trip was well organised from the beginning to the end, the accommodation was lovely (and usually in a fabulous, scenic location) and everything was focused on making sure that our experience was the best.

Trip of a Lifetime.
What an amazing experience from start to finish. However, what made our trip even more enjoyable was our guide, Thomas Nina. Tom is local to the area and from the moment he picked us up, he made us feel right at home. Honestly, this man is amazing. From spotting wildlife, predicting what the animals are going to do and where to best move / position the truck to watch the action unfold. What added even more to the experience was Tom's stories about growing up in the area, from a small child, to teenager and ultimately becoming a guide. Tom had us laughing so hard our stomachs hurt. He kept us entertained the whole time, whether we were at dinner or driving around in the truck. Tom is an absolute legend and I’d happily go back just to tour with him again !!!

It was a beautifully organized experience we will never forget!
From the booking and planning to the day of the experience, One Horizon Africa blew us away. Everything was well planned and there were so many personal touches that our tour guide added to the experience. He answered all our many questions and helped us connect with the wonderful Maasai women we spent the day with. We came away with a better understanding of the Maasai womens' lives in Kenya and we connected with them on a very basic level as fellow mothers. We sang, made jewelry, and shared stories. One Horizon provided us with professionally taken photos for memories of a fantastic day and even sent us email thank-you notes following the experience. We would recommend them to anyone.
