Great experience!!
5/5

We had a 6 nights safari with Bahati International Tours and Safaris and we had a great time. We visited Tarangire Park, Lake Manyara Park (we made a really nice night safari!), Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
All the parks worth a visit: Tarangire for its spectacular landscapes, Lake Manyara for the forest, Serengeti for predators and its amazing and different landscapes, Ngorongoro because its unique and fascinating.
Bahati International Tours and Safaris was professional from our arrival until our departure. The choice of Lodges and Camping was perfect: we recommend in particular Tarangire Safari Lodge and Kati Kati camps (Tanganyika Wildeness camps).
The guide was friendly and helpful.
We say all the big 5, a family of Cheetah, lots of other animals. It was great!
I believe that Bahati International Tours and Safaris has the best arrangement in terms of Quality service, our safari in Tanzania with them was superb.

Our Safari in South Africa with Wildlife Safari was interesting and well organised. Our guide/driver, Hoppy, picked us up at Joburg Airport and from there we set off on a 5-day itinerary. Our guide was always kind and helpful. The route is relatively demanding, because it still involves long daily journeys, but it allows you to see interesting and varied landscapes. We saw all the famous big 5, as well as numerous other animals present in abundance in the Kruger. The landscape, at least in this season (South African spring) is rather dry and this allows you to spot fauna more easily. Overall a positive experience, although decidedly different, in my opinion, from Safaris in Kenya and Tanzania, essentially due to the high number of tourists present in the park compared to these other realities. South Africa has a lot to offer, even on the human side. I found very smiling people

Spectacular wildlife and beautiful beaches.

The safari tours are fantastic. Drivers/guides are well coordinated with each other ensuring that animal sightings are passed along, giving tourists the best opportunity to see as many animals as possible.
Beaches are beautiful but the harassment from local vendors is intolerable. Locals are friendly until they find out you don't want to give them business or money.
As a woman, make sure you cover up to below the knees (no shorts no matter how hot if you're not on the beach) because the looks you get make you feel like you're a piece of dung at the bottom of a shoe.
Get a hotel close to the main attractions because the driving is insane.

Matoke tours exceeded mine and my family's expectations.
5/5

As my studies had brought me to Uganda to do an internship, my family didn't want to miss out on this opportunity to travel to a new country, explore a new culture and of course visit me. The agreement was to explore the best of western Uganda, so it was up to me to find an affordable tour that also covered the highlights of that part of the country. After having searched the internet for tour companies, I stumbled across the Matoke budget tour. It sounded pretty exciting including chimpanzee tracking, viewing of the tree climbing lions, gorilla tracking, bush walk and many other activities. But as a student with limited budget and a passionate backpacker, I wasn't sure if this was the best deal I could find and at the same time slightly skeptical when it comes to online booking (because you never know who is on the other side). So I went ahead and tried to organize the trip myself, only to realize that it was a time consuming, complicated process with no promise on saving any costs. Having come to that realization I decided to book with Matoke tours and have come to the conclusion that every penny is well spent. The communication with the staff was reliable, I always got a quick response and the safari tour outstanding. Not only were the activities exciting, even the accommodation made our trip exceptional. I am glad to have booked through Matoke tours and am glad to recommend it.

About: Kenya
One of the most beautiful places on the planet.

We visited Kenya (Nakuru and Maasai Mara) as part of our honeymoon, and it didn't disappoint.

Throughout our trip, we were consistently stunned by the country's beauty and landscapes. We were incredibly lucky to have seen 'The Big Five' within the first 24 hours. We honestly couldn't believe it!

The food and hospitality we enjoyed was fantastic. We felt welcome wherever we went.

A few tips for first time travellers, be sure to book your Yellow Fever jab before visiting the country - especially if you're planning to fly onto another country afterwards. Customs require this before you can leave the country. Secondly, avoid the East Africa Expressway at all costs. It's the main road from Nairobi into the Mara region and is notorious for traffic jams. We got stuck in on for 2+ hours. However, our driver said that it wasn't uncommon for you to spend the night there when it's really bad.

Me and my family visited Masai Mara with SafariBookings this summer and it was a truly special experience for us. First and foremost, we saw so many animals and wildlife, even seeing a lion eating a buffalo. The highlight of our trip was our guide Kelvin, he was super helpful with everything we needed and explained everything thoroughly. He made sure to always drive us to the best spots to see lions, hippos and elephants. Beware that the wifi in the hotels is not great but it's an opportunity for a much needed digital detox. The tour of the Masai Mara village was also insightful, and everyone was super helpful and allowed us to step into their homes when it suddenly started raining.

Greater Kruger has it all, abundant animals, outstanding lodges, knowledgeable guides, friendly loca

I started researching this trip to South Africa with an internet search for safaris. I found SafariBookings and they were the most comprehensive site with the most safaris. From there, read about the various national parks in SA, and decided that Kruger was right for my family trip. I went back to SafariBookings and filtered for safaris in Kruger, mid-range cost, about 1 week in length. The best fit was Wildlife Encounters (WE) , which offered a 5-day safari to 3 different game reserves in greater Kruger. As it turned out, the lodges that WE had chosen for us were all fantastic. The lodges themselves were like something out of the movie "Out of Africa" or a Hemmingway novel. The food was excellent, often including meat grilled on an outdoor wood fire, lots of fresh vegetables and fruits, and tasty desserts. We found that all the lodges where we stayed used water purification systems that allowed us to eat all the fresh food without concern for disease, which was a huge plus for us. The guides knew their areas well, and did a fantastic job driving and navigating the dirt 2-track roads. We saw the Big 5 animals in the first 48 hours. The abundance of animals is remarkable. Our favorite stay was Tusker Lodge in Kliseri-best food (Victory), best guide (Troy), best tracker (Vucy). Judy at WE gets a shout-out for arranging such a trip of a lifetime.
