Highly Recommended
We had a great trip over 2 weeks with etrip covering tarangire, ngorongoro, central Serengeti, lobo and northern Serengeti. I was particularly impressed with the communication and organisation both before and during the trip. I would not hesitate to recommend etrip.

Review for '6-Day Walking to Heart of Masai Village Lake Natron'
This past summer, my sister and I signed up for a Maasai walking safari with Wildroots Safari without knowing what to expect.
As it turns out, this trip turned out to be my best experience out of the entire 7 months I spent on this continent.
We were accompanied on the walking tour by a cook, two donkey men, several donkeys (to carry your supplies) and most importantly our wonderful guide, Nasha.
I cannot emphasized how wonderful Nasha is. After spending such a long time in Africa, I was really exhausted from dealing with corrupted, money hawking tour guides. Nasha, however proved otherwise. He was the sweetest, educated, insightful guide who spoke good English. Being a Maasai himself, he was able to share his personal experience growing up as a Maasai.
We would walk for 5-6 hours everyday at a comfortable pace. It is amazing to be able to witness how the tribes live on a day to day basis, watch kids as young as 4 graze the cows on a land with predators such as Hyenas. To top it off, we managed to see plenty of wildlife such as Giraffes, Zebras and Wildebeest along the way!
If you are still undecided as to how to spend your holiday in Tanzania or if you're sick of sitting in a Safari vehicle every single day, I would highly recommend this trip for you. Ask for Nasha to be your guide. On a trip like this, you spend 15 hours with your guide daily and it is imperative you get a good guide like Nasha.

A Photographic Route to Game Park.
Selous is one of the largest game park of the world covering more than 54,000 Sq Kms, most of the park is reserved for Gaming ( I seriously hate that) and another large area from Mtemere Gate near Mloka village is reserved for photographic tour. Reaching the park by road is around 245 kms from Dar Es Salam Tanzania and by Air 30 mins to some specific camps.
Since its game park unlike national park animals can be seen very close and the animals does not have any boundary. I went to Selous twice September and again in October. From the entrance gate after we drove in side open safari cars and after 15 mins of drive was mesmerized by collection and density of the animals and variety of birds. Interesting part of Selous is after each 5 or 6 kms the topography changes sometimes is plain near the lake , other time red soil with white thorn bushes and again green large tree with paddy roads. I saw over all 34 lions with 4 different prides, was lucky to be watching them eating fresh hunt . Driver normally drive very close to them effectively a 300mm lens is sufficient enough to click lions, apart from lions giraffe, kudus, water buck, heartbeast, wilderbeast, different kinds of eagles, bee eaters etc was in plenty. Night can bit scary as starting from lion to hippo all was roaming near our camp. Some of the camps are too much luxury some are moderate but most of them are built on the bank of Rufiji River, hence morning walk near the boundary you will be able to see animals and birds easily. Most of the resorts switchoff the lights are 10 AM and is left with battery backups. Overall the best part of Selous are 1. Close proximity with animals, 2. Huge Collection of Animals. 3. Shoot as you like means you can even get down at a distance from the car and take worm height shot of an elephant 4. Support from the guides to take a good shot. I would any day recommend anyone to join Selous.

Best Tour Operator & Safaris for Masai Mara
As suggested by number of colleagues that Absolute Holiday Safaris was one of the best i first emailed David our plan - immediately I got a response with the detailed itinerary. We were travelling from DRC to Uganda to Kenya and then moving ahead to Tanzania. If you plan to do this route with the Masai safari, this tour operator is the one you have been looking for. David, the owner, gave us John Wanjau as the guide, locally known as the AniMal for he knows the jungle like the back of his hand and he will show you all the animals and places like nobody else.
The company helped us for our tours ahead with no extra cost - looking after minutest details. David is available on Whats app for any requirement one can have. Should you need to travel to Kiliminjaro, Zanzibar or other places in the continent, David's network is as reliable as himself and I would trust them as much as I trust him.
Definitely somebody you should contact for all your trips in Africa...
Thanks Absolute Holiday Safaris, we all had a lovely time. Looking forward for our next visits.

Experience varies with drivers/itineraries
I booked with Absolute Holiday Safaris based on price and the superb, friendly communication with David prior to traveling. I was so happy that David really is as kind and genuine as he seems through email! I was very pleased to meet him in Nairobi.
I booked 8-day safari: Maasai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha, Amboseli. We began the trip with John AKA Animal for 3 days in Maasai Mara, and learned from other passengers that he is one of the best drivers. He was very knowledgeable about the animals, and very professional. Sadly, we only had him for 3 days and were bounced to 4 other drivers for the rest of the trip.
The other drivers were Sammy and Stanley. Neither of them was at the same level with Animal. They both sped in the parks, and Sammy actually almost hit 3 zebra (I was riding in the front seat and was horrified). There was also a small child in the back seat who was bouncing around and flying off the seat. Both Sammy and Stanley were on their radios talking and laughing (presumably not about animals, since we weren't really seeing much...) the whole day and it ruined the peace of the experience.
We were also abandoned one morning in Hell's Gate National Park. We were to be picked up at 10:30AM and were not picked until around 1PM due to miscommunications within the company. We luckily had David's business card on hand and the kind women working at the park let us call David several times until we were picked from the park. Other changes were: switching hotels in Nakuru with no notice, changing our itinerary around during the trip itself. We never got offered a boat ride at either Lake Nakuru or Lake Naivasha, and we missed one morning's game drive in Maasai Mara which was on the itinerary.
The overall experience was wonderful; I love Kenya and want to come back already! However, I would book with this company again only with guarantee of a great driver (Animal) for the entire trip. Now that I have more awareness of how things work I would try to lock things down a bit more.

Unforgettable time
Great Organisation, extremely friendly and knowledgable guide and staff, too good cooking. It is great to have the local People with you on tour - they know best ow to track and find the animals, predict their behaviour.
