Exhausting but really special and once in a lifetime.
It was all what I expected and even more. It was one of the most beautiful experience of my life. Although, we had to hurry a bit at the last part. Maybe that was a little annoying.

I wouldn't trade the wonderful adventure and experience that we had for anything!
I would give this a 5 star rating but am giving it a 4 star because it was a budget tour - not anyone's or anything's fault. The itinerary was perfect and generous, and I would not have been there had it not been for the affordability. If you like luxury and don't like rustic, this is probably not the place for you and you should plan to spend a lot more money. We were camping and if you like to camp and help cook/clean/pack/unpack - this was an absolute joy. Go with a positive and adventuresome spirit and you will LOVE it!
I would like to add that my friends and I did this together and we are in our 60's while most of the travelers are young - probably due to affordability. I think it is important to be fairly fit and healthy.

Two-week wonderful trip in Kenya
Contacting with several operators for this safari, the price Aardwolf offered was not the best one (with the same level hotels/lodges/tents). I selected this operator because the communication was efficient and Esther provided me some useful information such as transportation. However, I was a little disappointed on the selection of the accommodation except those we requested, as some of them were unknown and few people visited. For example, the Soi Lodge near the Lake Baringo was selected for us, which is far away from both our destinations of Lake Nakuru and Lake Bogoria. The only reason is of high profit I guess. But you know, the most important thing to do safari is not the money but the guide/driver. We should thank Aardwolf to give us a great driver, Mr. John Kabuga. We were so lucky to have John with us, who is professional, experienced and qualified. He was born in Kenya but has blue eyes, which makes him special and gives him a good vision like Masai people. He is good at finding animals and told us a lot of stories about Kenya. In a conclusion, this trip was not executed in perfect detail but what we experienced makes it unforgettable on both good and bad points. A good driver will leave you a better memory.
All aspects of our dealings with Martz Safaris were good. We found them friendly and helpful.
My brother and I were on a self drive trip through Rwanda and up into Uganda. Unexpectedly, we had to hand back our Rwandan vehicle at the border. At late notice, Martz Safaris drove down from Kampala to meet us at the border with another vehicle. We were then able to continue our trip through Uganda. For the next eight days the vehicle performed well and gave us no cause for concern. Without their prompt service and help, our trip through Uganda could well have been a very different story

Fabulous time
Our guide was wonderful. He ensured that we have seen the Big 5 and more on our 6 day safari. He was always on time and provided us with info on all the parks and Kenya in general. We had a fantastic time. Asante Sana David and Mutemi! We will be back

Experience in the heart of Afrika
1. The boat trip to the Murchison waterfalls could be combined with the hike. The guide with the vehicle would have to pick up the group at the top of the cases. The return trip was too long and too dull.
2. The boat trip into the delta should take place with a suitable boat and not with a fishing boat. For the duration of time, a suitable seat is mandatory.
3. An additional day could be scheduled in Murchison N.P.
4. The drive from Fort Murchison to the next accomodation, chimpazee guesthouse was too long. An extra night is absolutely necessary.
5. One day may be canceled in Queen Elizabeth N.
6. Crater Bay Cottages should no longer be approached. The cleanliness in the wet area of the rooms used by our group was catastrophic. Due to fungal attack and pollution the wet area was only conditionally usable. We were not showered. The more regrettable, because the accommodation with a few small things can be graded. Cleanliness in the accommodations is a must.
7. In only two overnight accommodation was possible with credit card.
8. It should therefore be possible to book half-board or full-board accommodation.
A very special thanks to Ronnie, who was very hard-working. Great compliment and very warm greetings. The attached pictures I ask to transfer to him.
Thank you for an extraordinary trip and cordial greetings to Uganda
