Great experience
4/5

We booked a four day safari (lake manyara, ngorongoro & serengeti) with meru slopes! The guide did his best to spot all the animals and always gave us first-row views. The cook's food was very tasty, and the campsites were a great experience (who experienced sleeping between the monkeys and other wildlife ?!) but very basic (especially night 2 and 3). Meru slopes is highly recommended, definitely worth the price you pay! One note of criticism: the communication of the organisation is sometimes lacking. For instance, at the time we left the hotel to go on safari they informed us we could only take one piece of luggage because there wasn't enough space for two pieces of luggage. If we knew that beforehand, we could have mixed our clothes the evening before we left.

Great Customer Service from all the staffs of the company from management to guides / driver.
4/5

I appreciate the flexibility and quick response from the management of Seven By Far Travel, especially from its Managing Director, Mr. Sylvester Sila. And they really go out of their way to give that extra service to clients. Although there are some glitches but the way Mr. Sila goes out of his way to make his clients feel special more than make up for those glitches.
Thank you to our safari driver/guide Mr. Ashton, his patience and quick eye made our safari special and worth every money spent on our safari tour. We saw all the big five, unfortunately wasn't able to capture shots of the leopard, perhaps in my next trip. Our group was very lucky, we saw a lot of animals crossing the road , especially in Amboselli National park, from a herd of elephants, to zebras, wildebeest , impala , gazelles , ostrich , baboons in just a day of game drive. We were also lucky to witness a pack of hyenas in action, hunting its prey (baby water buffalo) at Lake Nakuru , and how the buffalo mamas came running to help the baby buffalo , albeit too late already , followed by the whole herd of buffalos. Then, there's also the rare event of witnessing a pair of mama rhinos with their baby rhino crossing the road. Lions , cheetah, vultures , on chow time , chomping thru the carcass of its prey. Everybody in our group feels lucky to be able to witnessed all these animals in their natural environment. The hot air balloon ride over Masai Mara followed by a buffet breakfast on the savannah plains with a herd of wildebeest in our background is awesome! Truly, the African Safari in Kenya is an experience one shouldn't missed in this lifetime. And having Seven By Far Travel made all these possible is the best decision I made.

2 day tour in Amboseli
4/5

We had a 2 days tour in amboseli from Nairobi. the tour was really nice and everything that was promised when we booked. we managed to see a lot of animals and our driver was very knowledgeable (John).
Don't underestimate the drive when you go there from Nairobi, it's pretty long especially if you arrive back in Nairobi around 5-6pm when the trafic is crazy. The Lodge where we stayed was amazing, Kibo Safari Camp (we enjoyed a lot the staff and the swimming pool).

A memorable journey, warthogs and all
4/5

We chose East Africa Wild Adventures based on its excellent reviews and because Alym (the owner) is based near us in Vancouver. That afforded us the chance to meet with him to plan our trip in person, and to get a feel for him and his company. He made a very good impression - both his in-depth knowledge, and his candour when discussing the details. His personal touch was self-evident, which came in handy during our Tanzania trip. There is a tremendous amount of logistical work that goes into a week-long safari, and every day unfolded smoothly. Or at least it would have, had we not run into a major problem with our vehicle on the second day of the safari. Efforts were made to fix it, but the problem persisted the next day. We then texted Alym (middle of the night for him) and he immediately dispatched a new vehicle that arrived the following day. We were grateful and relieved, as the driver and the Arusha-based EAW manager seemed content to continue trying for a repair. With the new vehicle, no more frustrations and back to smooth sailing. We really enjoyed our driver, Emmanuel, who was knowledgeable, flexible, and engaged. The accommodations were first-rate, both in the parks and our beach hotel in Zanzibar, where we spent the last three days of our trip. One piece of advice - if you go during the summer, if does get quite cool overnight in the Serengeti. If you don't like the cold, bring some warm night clothes (and maybe a heating pad). And enjoy the spectacular wildlife and scenery - it doesn't get any better than this. I can certainly recommend East Africa Wild Adventures to help you make it happen.

Well operated, safe, cheap and fruitful safari
4/5

Axis was very well organised, communicative and straightforward in their responses. They accommodated my friend and I on the exact dates we wanted to go even though we booked only a few days in advance. Our guide Joshua was knowledgeable, professional and clear. The long trek out to Maasai Mara was definitely worth the time, as we saw all of the big 5 within 6 hours of game driving. I rate the safari experience overall as a 4 instead of a 5 because my friend and I were stuck in the back of the van the entire drive + game drives, which was extremely bumpy and often uncomfortable. The housing facilities were also quite run down. Word of caution to anyone going - do not visit the Maasai Mara village. It's not worth the money and there are much better ways to visit a local African community if one so desires. Overall, a good value for the money, though I'll probably go for a nicer setup if I return.
