Kima Safaris guarantees impressive safari experiences
5/5

Four of us spent 10 days with Steven from Kima Safaris in southern Tanzania (Mikumi, Uzungwa and Ruaha National Parks). The whole trip was excellently organized - everything went 100%. The lodges we stayed in were great with excellent food. Thanks to Steven's many years of experience, he knows the parks like the back of his hand and knows exactly how and where the animals move. So we were able to enjoy a lot of extremely impressive animal observations and learned a lot about the way of life of the animals and the connections between the different ecosystems. Steven is also a safe and skilful driver and a personable and humorous conversationalist. We can 100% recommend Kima Safaris!

Amazing trip, well planned, terrific guide.

Before booking our family trip to Uganda we undertook some research into various tour operators. Adventures to Gorilla Africa came up on a search and the reviews were positive so we sent them an itinerary request.

Rogers got back to us with a detailed itinerary and was happy to make any changes we needed, price was very competitive and we locked in our trip. Communication was excellent and they also assisted with last minute changes before we arrived due to airline flight schedule changes.

On arrival Rogers was there on schedule and we begun our whirlwind 6 day tour of Uganda (more of an 8-9 day trip but we were short on time). The car was comfortable and our lodges were excellent, we wish we had more time at them! We visited Bwindi for a Gorilla Trek and Cultural Tour, then Queen Elizabeth NP, Murchison Falls NP and a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary before our return to Entebbe. Rogers had excellent knowledge of the parks, the animals, driving on some VERY challenging ‘roads’ and went above and beyond to tick all the boxes for us in terms of what we wanted to see. We learnt a lot about the country and he accommodated any request we had.

Some tips for those planning a trip - make sure you do the river cruises (they were excellent) and ..

If we return one day we will be sure to contact Adventures to Gorilla Africa again, and thank them again for a wonderful holiday to Uganda!

In search of a safaris to help me in my tour journey to Kenya, A friend of mine happened to recommend Super Africa wildlife and Adventure Safaris where she gave me Mr Martins contacts. I was able to contact him and he was a very reliable person. He organised for my pick up at the airport by our driver and guide Mr David. He was able to take us explore Kenya's diverse ecosystem and each day brought new surprises and unforgettable moments. Kudos to SAWAS

Perfect relaxing solo getaway
5/5

From start to finish this tour was exactly what I was looking for! A tour of Zimbabwe that have a taste of everything Africa has to offer with down time and a little bit of luxury (4 days 3 night)

Brian was on time to collect me from the airport with a smile and a bottle of water, he transferred me to My accommodation and ensured check in was smooth (Pioneer Lodge). I had enough time for a shower before going on the evening cruise

The cruise on the Zambezi with Pure Africa was so tranquil and relaxing, I was looked after so well by all the staff. The 4 course meal was amazing, I could not fault it at all.

Day 2 : Brian collected me with Gary, who was my guide for a walk around Victoria falls. Gary was very knowledgeable and talked about all aspects from the Kuzu national park, the animals, the falls and the plant life we saw on the Victoria falls walk. The falls are magical as the mist clears to reveal the falls and then covers them again ! We were soaking , but it was worth it to be so close to the falls

I talked and walked so much I missed the helicopter slot booked for that morning! But that wasn’t a problem as Brian had re-arranged it so I could enjoy the falls to the maximum. The helicopter ride provided a different view to the falls and it was spectacular. As we returned to the helipad we saw elephants, giraffes and impala below in the trees.

That evening Brian drove me to ‘The Boma’ which is a chance to try local foods. There was no as much game food as I would like to have tried, but the food was well cooked and tasty. The dancing and drumming was magnificent- and to be able to participate with your own drum added to the experience. I was feeling tired, and messaged Brian, who came earlier than agreed to collect me.

My final day Brian drove me to the Botswana boarder, where he introduced me to ‘LT’ (probably spelt wrong!) from Waterburg safari. The jeep was comfortable , but you do need to take extra coats for the morning drive to Chobe ! It was cool! Coffee drinks and water were provided a three points by LT during the day. My only comment is that personally I would have liked more commentary on the animals as we saw them. But the morning drive was nevertheless really enjoyable. We saw giraffe, lions, impala, buffalo, antelopes, kudu, elephants, vultures, hippopotamus and crocodiles. For lunch we transferred to a hotel, which provided a hot buffet - the food was faultless ! Then we transferred onto a boat to cruise the river searching for animals. We were so lucky because the herd of elephants decided they wanted to cross the river in-front of us! We got up close and personal with crocodiles, hippopotamuses, warthogs, impala, kudu and some of the bird. LT drove us back to the boarder, where Brian was waiting to take me back To the hotel.

The next day Brian arrived on time to transfer me back To the airport with his lovely wife and daughter.

This has been my first solo trip, I have felt safe and secure the whole time. Brian made sure I knew what time I needed to be in reception and he personally made sure other tour companies collected me on time when using other tour providers. Before I booked Brian was very communicative by email, answering questions, and once I arrived I had Brian’s WhatsApp number so I could communicate with him while in Zimbabwe.

I can not recommend customise travel and tours highly enough. If you want a stress free, relaxing African experience this is the company you should book through.

Professional, Knowledgeable and Passionate about the wildlife
5/5

We had the most unforgettable safari experience with Safarimojamatata !

Starting from our home in Dar es Salaam, we explored Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and the awe-inspiring Serengeti, where we stayed in a fantastic tent hotel.

The up-close encounters with wildlife were incredible!

Finally, we visited the magnificent Ngorongoro crater. Matata and his team's knowledge and professionalism made the trip seamless and enjoyable.

Their passion for wildlife conservation was evident throughout.

We highly recommend Safarimojamatata for an exceptional and personalized safari adventure in Tanzania

Absolutely amazing service!
5/5

We travelled with Kevic Tours with Alex as our driver-guide. We did three days in Masai Mara and one day in Navaisha. Masai Mara was even better that expedted. So many animals. We did a balloon tour as well. Do that and take three days. In Navaisha we did cycle in Hells Gate and boatride on the lake (lots of hippos). Also very nice.

Everything was absolutely amazing. Communication beforehand very smooth. Same when we arrived. Hotels as we wanted them. Alex was the best. He clearly loves animals and went out of the way to make sure we had a great experience.

Can recommend to everyone!

Amazing!
5/5

My family and I had a great time on our trip to Botswana and Zimbabwe. It's been a long time coming, since we booked this trip for the summer of "nothing" (2020) and had to reschedule for 2023. Adelle was fantastic and patient as we made date changes several times. The hotels and experiences at these hotels were great--including the super fun (casino) hotel in Johannesburg. That made the overnight we weren't really looking forward to so fun.

Adelle covered all of the details and was amazingly responsive for the 7-hour time difference. She answered every question we had. The hotels were beautiful, good safaris and great service. We were even upgraded to the Safari Club in Victoria Falls, which was an extra treat. The river safari in Botswana was a family favorite, as was the tour of Victoria Falls. I also want to say the border crossing between Botswana and Zimbabwe would have been a little nerve-wracking if we were doing it on our own.

Great trip! I highly recommend them and have done so already with several friends. I plan to use Discover Africa on our next trip to Africa.
