Very Professional - would highly recommend them.
Namibia 2024 Tour: Thank you so much Great Explorations for attending to all our reservations for us, (apart from Luderitz & Solitaire) . We did a self-drive budget tour which was great. However, thumbs up, Namibia is not a cheap country to visit, as a South African.
* Hobas Campsite, Fish River Canyon - Campsite stands were not clearly marked out, & very dusty. (Because of no markings, we had 2 German tourists camping on our stand!) Personally, campsite costly & disappointing, albeit in close proximity to the Fish River Canyon. This was not our 1st option, regretfully, Canyon Roadhouse our first choice was fully booked.
*Aus Haven & Rest Camp - Absolutely wonderful with beautiful private ablution. Highly recommended.
* Shark Island, Luderitz - Own Arrangement - what a mistake! Luderitz is so windy that you cannot camp despite the campsite being beautiful. We were saddened that we were not advised, prior to booking and paying directly about the howling winds. Had we known this, we would never have camped. After the 1st night we packed up and left.
*Duwisib Guestfarm - Fantastic - lovely campsite overlooking the Duwisib castle with such peace and quietness. Only 1 stand has electricity.
*Jansen Kalahari Guest farm campsite - Disappointing. Very sandy campsite (no paving nor grass anywhere), ablutions not great - unpaved walking to & from ablutions.
*Elegant Desert Camp, Sossusvlei - Beautiful campsite with lovely ablutions. Winds are difficult to navigate.
*Lagoon Chalets & Caravan Park, Walvis Bay - Very nice indeed. Stunning & modern ablutions with laundromat.
*Alte Brucke Campsite, Swakopmund - A gem. Beautiful grassed stands with private ablutions.
*Daureb Isib Campsite, Uis - Very pleasant with own private ablution.
*Elisenheim Guestfarm, Windhoek- Disappointing so did not camp there despite paying. Found new campsite at Urban Camp which was absolutely amazing.
*The White House, Gruanau - Disappointing
*Amanzi River Trail Campsite, Noordoewer - Superb. Fantastic huge, grassed stands overlooking the Orange River. Tranquility at its best. Pleasant ablutions & very friendly owners.

After this trip, I see Jack as family
What a great trip! Our guide Jack ensured we were comfortable and well informed throughout the trip…he went out of his way to make sure we saw the big 5 - lion, buffalo, rhino, leopard and Jeeano Paul.
He was always jolly and prioritised our safety throughout this trip. I can’t recommend this man enough!
I try to reflect after every trip but I feel somewhat discombobulated.
Perhaps the greatest gift an animal has to offer is a permanent reminder of who we really are

Breathtakingly awesome! (See below)
Our safari experience at Maasai Mara was truly unforgettable, and a significant part of that was thanks to our incredible tour guide, Jack. From the moment we met him, his enthusiasm for the wildlife and the landscape was infectious. He had an exceptional ability to spot animals from great distances, ensuring we never missed a moment of the action.
Jack’s knowledge about the ecosystem was impressive; he shared fascinating insights about the animals’ behaviors and the Maasai culture, enriching our experience immensely. His passion for conservation was evident and inspiring.
The itinerary crafted for us allowed ample time to explore various areas of the park, and Jack's driving skills made even the bumpiest terrains feel safe and enjoyable. He was patient, accommodating, and always ready with a smile, making our days in the Mara feel personalized and special.
Overall, our safari was an extraordinary adventure filled with breathtaking scenery and incredible wildlife encounters, all made possible by Jack’s expertise and warmth. We couldn't have asked for a better guide, and we highly recommend him to anyone looking to experience the magic of Maasai Mara.

Amazing trip, wouldn’t have been the same without Joseph!!
Our 5 night trip was brilliant! All the way from working out our itinerary to being dropped off at the airport, Joseph was the ultimate professional. His obvious passion for what he does added so much to our experience. If you are thinking about doing a trip don’t look any further, I could not recommend white plains safari highly enough!!

Nyungwe Canopy in Rwanda
Simian Safaris made the trip to Nyungwe easy and enjoyable.
We witnessed unique thrilling forest canopy tour in Rwanda’s Nyungwe National Park; one of Africa’s largest montane forests, rich in biodiversity.
Walking across Nyungwe Canopy Walkway on the suspended bridge at a height of around 70 meters (230 feet) above the forest floor, offered breathtaking views of the rainforest canopy, give us a bird’s-eye perspective of the lush greenery below.
The canopy stretching for about 160 meters (525 feet) is a thrilling adventure for those who enjoy heights and nature.

Incredible 4 day safari in the Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru national park
We had an incredible 4 day safari in the Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru National Parks. We saw all of the big 5, among many other amazing animals, thanks to our guide Peter. Peter was an expert at knowing where to find the animals on the reserve, getting us as close to them as possible and providing us with the best experience. Everything was very well organised and timely, we had a truly unforgettable trip.

Very Kind and friendly and most importantly she was Professional. Excellent Service.
On my recent tour to Maasai Mara with Rovic Tours, I had an excellent experience with their cost friendly packages and a detailed explanation of each tour helped me greatly choose a perfect getaway for my Family.
Overall, I have had a positive experience with Rovic tours and they really played a crucial role in planning an unforgettable adventure in Kenya
Highly Recommend!!

Tailormade is exactly it.
After getting a few quotes and itineraries for our Safari & beach honeymoon from elsewhere, we stumbled across Rob and the team at Tailormade Africa. From the moment Rob started talking, we knew he was an absolute expert in his field. He was very open and honest about the value proposition offered by some of the other itineraries presented by other suppliers, but also had extremely valuable additional context on various locations that other operators hadn't mentioned. For example, Rob informed us that one of the camps we were considering had just recently started a huge road construction project nearby, which had displaced a lot of the wildlife from the wider area. This wasn't mentioned by other suppliers, and wasn't readily discoverable from reviews or information online. Lo and behold, on our way back to the airstrip at the end of our fantastic trip, we drive down a very wide road, under construction, with no animals in sight... and then the camp we had considered with another supplier! That would have been a very disappointing mistake, and one that required an up-to-date expert on the area like Rob to identify. His knowledge of the various camps and areas is clearly extensive, as we mentioned each camp suggested in other itineraries by name he was able to immediately place them and comment on the various amenities - only possible when you're truly familiar with the various camps and locations. He very carefully listened to what was important to us, and provided us with a number of options to help us identify what was most important to us, and what budget was needed to give us the best value for money and what we were looking for. And the trip we ended up with was perfectly tailormade for us - the exact experience we hoped for, excellently delivered. Throughout the whole planning, booking, traveling and returning process Rob was extremely communicative, providing support in advance of arriving with the camp and resort, and then assisting with the remaining admin on our return. An absolutely incredible service all round! We've already encouraged a friend to book with Rob, and will hopefully be doing so again ourselves very soon!

The experience of a lifetime - absolutely amazing and a real privilege!
I travelled as a solo woman and joined a group of others. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming and I felt completely safe at all times with Papa (our driver) looking out for us. We saw things I could never have imagined and couldn't believe I was so lucky!! Papa was brilliant at getting us close to the action and in prime spot for photos. I couldn't imagine a trip anywhere else being better - we visited Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru, both of which were incredible! It was organised really well with pick ups and drop offs, all of the accommodation and food was great, and I thought it was worth every penny by the end of the first day, let alone the following three! I can't recommend Jocky Tours and Papa highly enough - look no further for the ideal safari adventure!

Great Experience and Best Service
Many thanks to Frena Adventures for this great trip. The dialog with Fred, the owner of the agency, was always professional and every question was answered very promptly.
A Uganda trip was tailored exactly to our wishes and all my ideas were taken into account. The selected lodges and hotels were all good, very good or top class! The Turaco Treetops Lodge in Kibale deserves special mention here. An incredibly beautiful jungle hotel in the middle of the forest. That alone is an experience in itself.
Our driver Ronald also deserves extra praise. He was always available and guided us very well and safely through Uganda. And anyone who has seen or even experienced the traffic in Uganda knows what I'm talking about. We felt we were in good hands at all times. We have traveled to several African and Asian destinations (including Bangkok!), but the roads and driving styles in Uganda are in a class of their own. The closer you get to the cities, the worse it gets. Driving directions, traffic signs and traffic lights are at most a friendly recommendation, but depending on the time of day and day of the week, little or no attention is paid to them. And Ronald has the full picture. After a day at the latest, we adopted the African serenity and the journey became a pure pleasure, no matter who comes towards you when, where and in which lane or takes your right of way as a matter of course. And if something didn't go as planned, which can happen in Central Africa, an innovative solution was sought and always found.
In addition to the numerous birds, antelopes, zebras, crocodiles, hippos, warthogs, elephants and giraffes, we were also able to marvel at lions, leopards and chimpanzees (at close range!).
The scenic beauty of the Nile Valley, the highlands, the jungle and the numerous waterfalls etc. also speak for themselves, and you can't help but be amazed. And above all, there are the incredibly poor, but always friendly and smiling people, especially the countless children.
To sum up: An all-round unique and fantastic experience.
